Love the simplicity. Not a fan of the fabric. Think this would look awesome without sleeves in a stretchable velvety fabric as an evening gown. Then just add a silky long jacket made from the pattern of one of your hoodies, without the hoodie. Add some nice shoes and people will ask where you bought the lovely outfit. Easy and elegant.

I'm a size 14/16 and I made this using 1 1\2 yards and I also had enough to make a pair of modesty shorts for underneath the dress I've made several of these and I always get complements and asked where I get them from and I've made them for other people too I sew for friends and friends of friends they usually come with me to choose there fabric or leave the decision to me stating colours they wouldn't wear and I will not sew for anyone over a size sixteen ever as that's far far too much fabric too be dealing with some one did ask me once they were a size 20 I said come back when your a size 14/16 max they e recently come back and I made them six dresses for the holidays all with the modesty shorts in the matching fabric and they went to Spain and were complemented on each occasion . Especially with the modesty shorts it earns me a bit of money which I then spend on more material for myself
