I have the same Marin figure & when I saw she was a regret, I was like, "Why?". Then I saw - and I went to check on my figure & mine was the prototype. I didn't know that some buyers received that face. Great, you were able to get a replacement.

As an MHA figure collector i 100% agree with your opinions on the 1/4 scales, especially the Bakugo. I don’t think I’ll ever get them because of how much space they take up while having such boring sculpts. They could’ve at least added an explosion motif somewhere with the Bakugo 1/4 😔 I’ll stick with my ARTFX J v2 scale and save my money for the new scales coming out
I completely agree with your comment as well, they take up a lot of space and they are SUPER expensive for what you get 🥲💔 especially bakugo like you said 😩 it doesn’t make sense that they went so simplistic on him while Deku has a nice effect base and Todorokis does as well, the explosion motif would have completely changed my opinion 🥲 ARTFX is one of my favorite brands they do such amazing work for a good price, i have their JJK line and it’s amazing - I’m so curious to see your MHA collection 🥹🩷 i love MHA so much

That bunny figure that had paint bleed from the tights is interesting, since I got the Makima from freeing a week ago and noticed those dark paint transfers on her skin underneath the tights :( Maybe mine just had bad QC, but I hope that’s not an issue for newer freeing bunnies now too 😢 Great video!!
NO WAY 🥲🥲🥲💔💔 i haven’t gotten my Makima in yet, and now I’m worried mine will have the same issue - especially because she was so expensive, did you reach out to the site you bought her from to try to get a replacement? 13:05 That Daiki Vispo figure is great. I actually love her eyes. They have more of a Masami Chie/Shunya Yamashita style compared to the majority of anime faces. Sadly, the "stink" isn't exclusive to this figure. There are a number of Daiki Kougyou products that also share that dank, weed stank and it doesn't go away any time soon. I have their Tora-tish Girl 1/5 scale and she reeks to high heaven. Whatever the PVC they're using or curing process, I doubt it's anything toxic but it is certainly unpleasant. I also love Daiki Kougyou as a company and while they have had a few hit-n' misses, overall, I think they're pretty solid and some of my favorite figures in my collection are from Daiki. They get a bad rap from the community and a lot of their figs bin in the aftermarket due to the stigma. Sadly, I've stopped pre-ordering Daiki scales because of this. I want to support them but at the same time, I don't want to overpay for their products when they drop 30-50% in the months following their release.
I love the way you view her, with looking at her eyes from an artistic standpoint i can definitely appreciate them more now ❤ UGH yes, i was hoping the smell would subside a bit with time (and have a fan pointed towards her) but she still a little stinky girl, will never be leaving my collection though i really do love her at the end of the day 🫶🏻 also, funny you say that Tora-tish is actually one of the Daiki figures I’ve had my eyes on for a while, i love her SO MUCH i would eventually love to add her to my collection 🐯💕 it’s unfortunate they have a bad rep as you said they are one of my favorites, i have the Nanal Grahambury 1/5 from them - absolutely love that figure and her eyes - and one of the most gorgeous figures in my collection, their Seyada Tara. Absolute show stopper!! I feel you with the Zara figure, I was displaying her on my figure shelf turned around for a while lmao. I actually have her on the end of my computer desk now, the upper part of her base is actually on top of the desk while the rest sort of just hangs there. My computer desk is a bit of a rough diy job, but it made it easy about setting her up like that so eh. Also the Marin figure is so sad to hear, I don't have any of her yet, but her succubus outfit is definitely on the top of my list.

for me, my only regrets are cast off figures, like I hate how hard it is to display them without them looking messy because the clothing never wants to go back on right and the box forces you to take them off to get the plastic out. Like I'm a gay man, I don't even enjoy the feature, such a waste.
@@Bicth97 when I was younger(like highschool, my parents had no idea the figure's clothes were removable), it was sort of a cover for me before I was out(I was in a glass closet) but also I got really into Queens Blade because I really enjoyed how every character had a different artist, full character story line with motivations and interests. I've always liked overly sexualized aesthetics because I grew up in a very repressed community and it felt freeing to me. In a way, the more sexual something was without being sex itself, the more it appealed to me. ALSO like many gay men, I also have a slight obsession with strong women who are in control of their sexuality(like Bayonetta who is a gay icon). It might also tie into the repression but it felt powerful for me to latch onto characters like that when I was younger and had no other outlets. Subsequently I got roped into other lewd animes because of the community for queens blade(online) and a lot of fan service shows actually have really strong art styles, character designs that stand out without being ugly, and music(although they do usually fall flat for actual story content which is why I eventually pulled away when I got older). To this day I have a soft spot for queens blade even though I know a lot of really messed up stuff happened in that series and a lot of it was very not ok, the concept and characters stuck with me. Fanservice aside, I have never seen another series put that much time and effort into character creation and development +having many different artists design the characters made it visually very enjoyable since there was so much diversity(as much diversity as there could be when the goal is to show as much skin as possible at least).
Completely agree with you you have no idea 🥲🩷🩷 so many hours of stress trying to put clothes on figures - especially with binding figures, where the tabs just NEVER seem to actually fit and then i end up damaging the suits and im like 🧎🏽♀️🧎🏽♀️ it’s so frustrating, im glad i am not the only one who feels this way 🥹 the difficult side of collecting is always so important to talk about, so i appreciate you taking the time to leave this comment and for making me feel not alone 💕\(._. )/💕
@NadyaCollectibles absolutely! I've literally almost broken several figures trying to make the clothing tabs work! It's so frustrating! And then there's always paint transfer which is fine for me because I don't undress them but also the resale value feels sketchy to me because of it. I'm definitely trying to sell a few but I actually have a soft spot for a few as well and I don't even know if I want to display them because I feel like they're too explicit in appearance for guests even clothed.
To fix the Yui kotegawa bunny figure for the ears. I suggest you use some PVC clay make a small fluff shape, put around the ears and connect it, then paint it white to match the color scheme of the bunny tail.
Oh my GOSH YES 😩🩷 i never would have thought to cover the slots for the ears with clay, and with how damaged the headband area is from the super glue lifting the paint that idea would solve all of my problems - thank you so much for the suggestion, I’ll have to post an update once i finish doing it 🥹🩷
@NadyaCollectibles Yay! Sucks I don't have a solution for the scuffs tho. Repainting those parts would be very difficult especially when having to match the right color scheme. Hope you get the ear parts done tho I'm sure they will look really nice!
You’ve a massive collection, having them all out in the open how often do you have to dust them? I have over 30 scales in boxes because I’ve been waiting to get cases to keep them. Because I currently have 6 large resins, 10 scales and around 30 Nendoroids on normal shelves and having to dust them every few days drives me nuts. So I’ve been waiting until I can set up proper glass cases before I unbox everything, because there’s no way I’m dusting another 30 scales.
That’s a great question 😅🩷 If I’m being 100% transparent I’m not the best at keeping up with dusting - I’d say i dust everything at least one every 2-3 weeks, in between that time if i notice the base of a figure is really dusty i will solo dust that figure and so on and so forth - it’s like a case by case basis 🧎🏽♀️ at the end of the day it feels like i dust something, turn around and look at it again and it’s back to being dusty 😩 it collects so fast - i use an air duster to get through everything quicker than just using the makeup brush alone, but after the air duster i will go in and detail with the makeup brush - it’s unfortunately the worst part about not having detolfs 🥲 I’ve been thinking about installing plastic doors for my open shelves in the future so i can just ~not~ stress so much about dusting \(._. )/ if you find anything good during your case search please let me know 🧎🏽♀️
@@NadyaCollectibles The Modu case is a nice case for larger figures, but they’re expensive if you need a few, it’s hard to find good cases with glass/Perspex doors, there’s only a few and they’re all expensive. I’ve just bought a few of the new IKEA BLÅLIDEN, they made it to replace the Detolf, I just put one of them together and it’s pretty nice, they’ll do for my figures. But you’re not going to fit resins in them haha, they’re fine for 1/6, 1/7 and some 1/4.
The way they designed the base on that 2nd figure they should have had her head turned 90 degrees or looking back over her shoulder. The flat grey wall isnt designed to be viewed. Alternate take, it should be flat all the way down the grey wall so you can mount it on the corner of a shelf or table.

18:30 Yea I’m a big To Love-Ru fan, I’ll get all these bunnies when I have everything set up for them, but I’ll get them in bare leg, AmiAmi currently has both versions of Yui on preowned, for ¥21k (bare leg), ¥25k (tights). Lala is the most expensive at ¥65k, but AmiAmi has the entire line of tights version on preowned at the moment. They only have a few bare leg.
Great decision, i actually pretty much prefer them all in bareleg as well 🩷 I have Momo and Yuuki in their bareleg versions because i think they look better that way and i have nemesis in her fishnet variant because she was around 16k on amiami preowned - she also doesn’t have a bareleg version yet ☹️ lala is so gorgeous but yea her aftermarket is pretty crazy, hoping they do a bareleg soon ❤ thank you so much for your comment

I'm an amateur collector of anime/game figures myself (only have around 10), but am terrified of taking them out of the box and most of them are still in the original packaging 😅

You have a nice collection. But I'm guessing your room is pink? or a warm colour? It throws all the colours in your video off. Or maybe your light is a warm yellow light? I'm not sure. But all the colours are a bit off. I suggest grabbing some white light, ring light, or umbrella and stuff.

I empathize with you altough i do think barelegged bunnies are really underrated ! They can cost up to 50% less than barelegged and have better longevity. Be careful without glass casings btw, doesn't look like they are LED lighted but still be careful about UV discoloration !

XD usually if i feel like only warm about a purchase or the ip isn't super special to me then im not likely to keep it, (happened with a bunch of my genshin preorders), not so much the look of the figure after release, unless they've done something heinous. that base with the pool ladder would be a great book end, but dang it's massive!
you can add tattoos to her legs, i did that with the rindo bareleg she looks badass with her legs and one of her breast tattooed. im going to buy another bareleg probably jibril, and add tattoos to her body as well. a lace ribbons on one thigh you can get creative with those.

11:51 I actually don’t mind when they don’t have a base, actually some I prefer not to have a base. Like I just bought the entire line of Union Creative To Love-Ru Darkness - Darkness Version, 11 different scales and none have a base, because they’re all sitting, kneeling or laying down, and a base would spoil the look. That Bakugo doesn’t need a base because of the pose.
I definitely agree with you there, 90% of the time with my kneeling bunnies if they come with a base i will not use it to save room and to me it just looks better without it aesthetically 🙌🏼 so yes i completely feel you there - the gripe was more so with the retail price for him being $400, and then seeing how nice dekus base was for the same price it would’ve been nice if they put more effort into an effects base, or maybe just effect pieces on the figure itself to add to the value - i really appreciate the insight you provided with your current collection, my favorite part about collecting is when we can have these discussions 🩷
I bet you could do something with a mirror to display the Zara. So you’re looking at it from behind at a slight angle so you see the tile and figure, and you see the reflection of her face in the mirror as she’s climbing out of the pool. At least that’s how I imagine it

I´ve been collecting for the past 8 or so years and to me the thing I regret the most is that this hobby has become a bit of a chore. I don´t have nearly as big or a collection as you do and money isn´t an issue as I don´t try to collect too much high end stuff, the issue is the lack of space or time to make a good display.

I don't have much space so I can't be as careless about what figures I get I have to be sure I won't regret the purchase. I bought all the Konasuuba Nindros and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Rimuru Tempest 1/7 Scale Figure. I also bought No Game No Life Shiro 1/7 Scale Figure (Re-run) because I really enjoy the series and I am hopeful for a season 2 and wanted to collect as much of the cast as figures but since I have limited space I decided it would take up less room rather than buying them all as Nindros.
I get that, i have the preordered for Hisako bare-legged but deep down inside i really want the fishnet one instead. Maybe i'll dig around MFC to find some fishnet variants
One thing that i will note about Hisakos fishnet version is that her suit seems to like crack? Inside of it.. it’s weird - i know mine had that issue, and it might be fixed with the bareleg version 🥲 so that might be something to take into consideration when deciding which version you’d prefer, especially being that her aftermarket is quite hefty for the fishnet version - let me know if you need any help 🩷
Zara is meant to be looked from above i guess, one of the few figures that benefit from being in the very bottom shelf. still its a weird experiment that they did, it's like you need a very specialized kind of setup for her.
If you have any regrets, they resell really well. If you don't like the stand for that Azure Lane lady, you could just get rid of the stand... Figurines usually go up in price, at least that's what I've noticed. It's interesting to see the My Hero go down. Ah, gripes, not regrets, got it.

I don't have any expensive scales in my collection, eventho some of the bunnies are pretty tempting. However, I'm kinda surprised how plain some of them look here? The difference between the "protos" and these is rather pronounced...
As someone who knows nothing about figures and doesn't even know why hes watching this video at the moment. I would of love to know how much those figures cost. Nice collection though!
Yeah... I paid for aftermarket Rindo and that was quite a hit, somewhere between 2 and 2.5x I think. But now I have the full set san Erina(I just don't like her) in tights. I am somewhat annoyed by the design of the coming Mito, as it doesn't match. Now, I'm fine with unique design... but she also fails as a unique design. If they were gonna maker her different, they should have given her a set of bikini that she actually wore, be it US flag, flame, camo, whatever. What is the point of giving her bikini and then make it solid blue? So now she fails to be part of the set and fails as a stand alone. I plan to get at least one Marin in each "form", though I'm gonna stick with the bigger, well known manufactures for consistencies. I would only resort to... shall we say non MFC qualified manufactures if there is a complete lack of figures otherwise. Which is sadly a thing for some of the character I like, but definitely not Marin. There are a ton of Marin. It's just that the big brands are a bit slow, but that might be how they ensure quality I dunno. P.S. I'm not entirely sure, but I think your lighting might be a bit too bright on the figures. It's really hard to see details like the paint transfer as a result.
Honestly i would say Rindo is one of the few bunnies that i wouldn’t mind paying aftermarket for - her face, hair, and overall sculpt is just phenomenal 🩷 one of the best bunnies released by freeing by FAR, so i totally feel you on that, we’re all victims of the aftermarket in one way or another 🧎🏽♀️ YUPPPPPP absolutely agree on Mito 🥲🥲🥲 she was the character i was most excited to see made into a bunny and the concept was a let down. Exactly what you said, ANY of the things she’s worn in the anime would have been amazing - but instead we just got a blue suit with no relation 🧎🏽♀️it’s such a shame. I am most likely going to wait on her bunny to drop in price, as i know she will, to see if I’ll pick her up for the set Or i will wait to see what they do with her for the new 1/4 Food Wars Bikini line they announced 👀 and YAY another Marin fan 🩷 yes, for her i would definitely avoid the same mistakes i made and go for the reputable brands, a lot of figures have been announced of her although i will say i was disappointed by her freeing bunny ☹️ so many cute designs in the show yet she got a black suit 😩💔 Also, thank you so much for the suggestion, i will try my best to fix that in the next video 🩷
My #1 regret is an MTG resin statue of the original Spirit Link. For the same price at the time, I could have bought an MTG Unlimited Mox Saphire. Now, my statue is broken and worthless, while the card is worth the price of a CAR.

I kind of like the Azur Lane pool base. Granted you can never display her from the front. I think it's intended to be displayed from the back or side which when it's done that way I've seen way worse bases.

That’s a really good question 🥲 basically she was one of the first resins I’d ever ordered and i didn’t do my research at all on the studio - I’ve since learned more about the hobby and if I’m buying unlicensed i make sure to make sure they have good past works or i don’t order it - unfortunately that wasn’t the case for this marin 😩💔

Especially R18 versions that they announce halfway into an anime season. The faces tend to end up being wrong or not even close to the prototype. And then they get away with it :(

Definitely one of the biggest risks with resin collecting, licensed studios are much more reliable - unfortunately this was early on in my collecting so i didn’t do enough research on the studio before buying 🥲 def learned my lesson now

As an MHA figure collector i 100% agree with your opinions on the 1/4 scales, especially the Bakugo. I don’t think I’ll ever get them because of how much space they take up while having such boring sculpts. They could’ve at least added an explosion motif somewhere with the Bakugo 1/4 😔 I’ll stick with my ARTFX J v2 scale and save my money for the new scales coming out
If you’re going to get a 1/4 you might as well get a resin, especially if you want a more dynamic sculpt.

13:05 That Daiki Vispo figure is great. I actually love her eyes. They have more of a Masami Chie/Shunya Yamashita style compared to the majority of anime faces. Sadly, the "stink" isn't exclusive to this figure. There are a number of Daiki Kougyou products that also share that dank, weed stank and it doesn't go away any time soon. I have their Tora-tish Girl 1/5 scale and she reeks to high heaven. Whatever the PVC they're using or curing process, I doubt it's anything toxic but it is certainly unpleasant.
I also love Daiki Kougyou as a company and while they have had a few hit-n' misses, overall, I think they're pretty solid and some of my favorite figures in my collection are from Daiki. They get a bad rap from the community and a lot of their figs bin in the aftermarket due to the stigma. Sadly, I've stopped pre-ordering Daiki scales because of this. I want to support them but at the same time, I don't want to overpay for their products when they drop 30-50% in the months following their release.
I love the way you view her, with looking at her eyes from an artistic standpoint i can definitely appreciate them more now ❤ UGH yes, i was hoping the smell would subside a bit with time (and have a fan pointed towards her) but she still a little stinky girl, will never be leaving my collection though i really do love her at the end of the day 🫶🏻 also, funny you say that Tora-tish is actually one of the Daiki figures I’ve had my eyes on for a while, i love her SO MUCH i would eventually love to add her to my collection 🐯💕 it’s unfortunate they have a bad rep as you said they are one of my favorites, i have the Nanal Grahambury 1/5 from them - absolutely love that figure and her eyes - and one of the most gorgeous figures in my collection, their Seyada Tara. Absolute show stopper!! I feel you with the Zara figure, I was displaying her on my figure shelf turned around for a while lmao. I actually have her on the end of my computer desk now, the upper part of her base is actually on top of the desk while the rest sort of just hangs there. My computer desk is a bit of a rough diy job, but it made it easy about setting her up like that so eh. Also the Marin figure is so sad to hear, I don't have any of her yet, but her succubus outfit is definitely on the top of my list.

for me, my only regrets are cast off figures, like I hate how hard it is to display them without them looking messy because the clothing never wants to go back on right and the box forces you to take them off to get the plastic out. Like I'm a gay man, I don't even enjoy the feature, such a waste.

@@Bicth97 when I was younger(like highschool, my parents had no idea the figure's clothes were removable), it was sort of a cover for me before I was out(I was in a glass closet) but also I got really into Queens Blade because I really enjoyed how every character had a different artist, full character story line with motivations and interests.
I've always liked overly sexualized aesthetics because I grew up in a very repressed community and it felt freeing to me. In a way, the more sexual something was without being sex itself, the more it appealed to me.
ALSO like many gay men, I also have a slight obsession with strong women who are in control of their sexuality(like Bayonetta who is a gay icon). It might also tie into the repression but it felt powerful for me to latch onto characters like that when I was younger and had no other outlets.
Subsequently I got roped into other lewd animes because of the community for queens blade(online) and a lot of fan service shows actually have really strong art styles, character designs that stand out without being ugly, and music(although they do usually fall flat for actual story content which is why I eventually pulled away when I got older).
To this day I have a soft spot for queens blade even though I know a lot of really messed up stuff happened in that series and a lot of it was very not ok, the concept and characters stuck with me. Fanservice aside, I have never seen another series put that much time and effort into character creation and development +having many different artists design the characters made it visually very enjoyable since there was so much diversity(as much diversity as there could be when the goal is to show as much skin as possible at least).

@NadyaCollectibles absolutely! I've literally almost broken several figures trying to make the clothing tabs work! It's so frustrating! And then there's always paint transfer which is fine for me because I don't undress them but also the resale value feels sketchy to me because of it. I'm definitely trying to sell a few but I actually have a soft spot for a few as well and I don't even know if I want to display them because I feel like they're too explicit in appearance for guests even clothed.
To fix the Yui kotegawa bunny figure for the ears. I suggest you use some PVC clay make a small fluff shape, put around the ears and connect it, then paint it white to match the color scheme of the bunny tail.
Oh my GOSH YES 😩🩷 i never would have thought to cover the slots for the ears with clay, and with how damaged the headband area is from the super glue lifting the paint that idea would solve all of my problems - thank you so much for the suggestion, I’ll have to post an update once i finish doing it 🥹🩷

You’ve a massive collection, having them all out in the open how often do you have to dust them? I have over 30 scales in boxes because I’ve been waiting to get cases to keep them. Because I currently have 6 large resins, 10 scales and around 30 Nendoroids on normal shelves and having to dust them every few days drives me nuts.
So I’ve been waiting until I can set up proper glass cases before I unbox everything, because there’s no way I’m dusting another 30 scales.
That’s a great question 😅🩷 If I’m being 100% transparent I’m not the best at keeping up with dusting - I’d say i dust everything at least one every 2-3 weeks, in between that time if i notice the base of a figure is really dusty i will solo dust that figure and so on and so forth - it’s like a case by case basis 🧎🏽♀️ at the end of the day it feels like i dust something, turn around and look at it again and it’s back to being dusty 😩 it collects so fast - i use an air duster to get through everything quicker than just using the makeup brush alone, but after the air duster i will go in and detail with the makeup brush - it’s unfortunately the worst part about not having detolfs 🥲 I’ve been thinking about installing plastic doors for my open shelves in the future so i can just ~not~ stress so much about dusting \(._. )/ if you find anything good during your case search please let me know 🧎🏽♀️
@@NadyaCollectibles The Modu case is a nice case for larger figures, but they’re expensive if you need a few, it’s hard to find good cases with glass/Perspex doors, there’s only a few and they’re all expensive. I’ve just bought a few of the new IKEA BLÅLIDEN, they made it to replace the Detolf, I just put one of them together and it’s pretty nice, they’ll do for my figures. But you’re not going to fit resins in them haha, they’re fine for 1/6, 1/7 and some 1/4.
The way they designed the base on that 2nd figure they should have had her head turned 90 degrees or looking back over her shoulder. The flat grey wall isnt designed to be viewed. Alternate take, it should be flat all the way down the grey wall so you can mount it on the corner of a shelf or table.
EXACTLY 😩😩 Omg looking over her shoulder would have been absolutely amazing, i can picture it and now I’m so sad they didn’t do that - the concept they decided on just doesn’t translate so well in 3D ☹️ and also the second suggestion, like a really big noodle stopper would have been so cool - UGH now i really want to commission someone to 3D print the base like that 🧎🏽♀️
Why not put Zara in front of a mirror so you can position her on the shelf with her rear facing you and then you can see her face in the mirror?

18:30 Yea I’m a big To Love-Ru fan, I’ll get all these bunnies when I have everything set up for them, but I’ll get them in bare leg, AmiAmi currently has both versions of Yui on preowned, for ¥21k (bare leg), ¥25k (tights). Lala is the most expensive at ¥65k, but AmiAmi has the entire line of tights version on preowned at the moment. They only have a few bare leg.

You have a nice collection. But I'm guessing your room is pink? or a warm colour? It throws all the colours in your video off. Or maybe your light is a warm yellow light? I'm not sure. But all the colours are a bit off. I suggest grabbing some white light, ring light, or umbrella and stuff.

I empathize with you altough i do think barelegged bunnies are really underrated ! They can cost up to 50% less than barelegged and have better longevity.
Be careful without glass casings btw, doesn't look like they are LED lighted but still be careful about UV discoloration !

you can add tattoos to her legs, i did that with the rindo bareleg she looks badass with her legs and one of her breast tattooed. im going to buy another bareleg probably jibril, and add tattoos to her body as well. a lace ribbons on one thigh you can get creative with those.

Like I just bought the entire line of Union Creative To Love-Ru Darkness - Darkness Version, 11 different scales and none have a base, because they’re all sitting, kneeling or laying down, and a base would spoil the look. That Bakugo doesn’t need a base because of the pose.
I definitely agree with you there, 90% of the time with my kneeling bunnies if they come with a base i will not use it to save room and to me it just looks better without it aesthetically 🙌🏼 so yes i completely feel you there - the gripe was more so with the retail price for him being $400, and then seeing how nice dekus base was for the same price it would’ve been nice if they put more effort into an effects base, or maybe just effect pieces on the figure itself to add to the value - i really appreciate the insight you provided with your current collection, my favorite part about collecting is when we can have these discussions 🩷
I bet you could do something with a mirror to display the Zara. So you’re looking at it from behind at a slight angle so you see the tile and figure, and you see the reflection of her face in the mirror as she’s climbing out of the pool. At least that’s how I imagine it

I don´t have nearly as big or a collection as you do and money isn´t an issue as I don´t try to collect too much high end stuff, the issue is the lack of space or time to make a good display.
This comment really put a lot of things into perspective for me - i completely agree with you 🥲 seeing figures displayed not as you intended because you’re running out of room is super disheartening and that’s an everyday thing for me - i feel like I’ll never have my dream display which is so sad because the figures are wonderful 🧎🏽♀️also dusting is awful full transparency, sometimes i wish i didn’t buy so many in such a short amount of time because A) it’s not sustainable B) it’s like you said, a chore. It’s like the unfortunate reality of collecting

My only regret with Rindo barelegs is she got bargain binned after I paid full retail price.

9:10 It’s funny I much prefer bare leg bunnies, I’m not a fan of tights at all, unless they’re sock tights, I don’t like full length tights at all.
I appreciate that viewpoint 🩷 There are quite a few bunnies that i think look way better in a bareleg, that way you can really appreciate the character in full and also it’s just cheaper in general than trying to get the original release - i still have my eye on a few barelegs id love to eventually get 🥹🩷

I bought all the Konasuuba Nindros and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Rimuru Tempest 1/7 Scale Figure. I also bought No Game No Life Shiro 1/7 Scale Figure (Re-run) because I really enjoy the series and I am hopeful for a season 2 and wanted to collect as much of the cast as figures but since I have limited space I decided it would take up less room rather than buying them all as Nindros.
I get that, i have the preordered for Hisako bare-legged but deep down inside i really want the fishnet one instead.
Maybe i'll dig around MFC to find some fishnet variants
One thing that i will note about Hisakos fishnet version is that her suit seems to like crack? Inside of it.. it’s weird - i know mine had that issue, and it might be fixed with the bareleg version 🥲 so that might be something to take into consideration when deciding which version you’d prefer, especially being that her aftermarket is quite hefty for the fishnet version - let me know if you need any help 🩷

Zara is meant to be looked from above i guess, one of the few figures that benefit from being in the very bottom shelf.
still its a weird experiment that they did, it's like you need a very specialized kind of setup for her.

If you don't like the stand for that Azure Lane lady, you could just get rid of the stand...

I don't have any expensive scales in my collection, eventho some of the bunnies are pretty tempting. However, I'm kinda surprised how plain some of them look here? The difference between the "protos" and these is rather pronounced...

Yeah... I paid for aftermarket Rindo and that was quite a hit, somewhere between 2 and 2.5x I think. But now I have the full set san Erina(I just don't like her) in tights. I am somewhat annoyed by the design of the coming Mito, as it doesn't match. Now, I'm fine with unique design... but she also fails as a unique design. If they were gonna maker her different, they should have given her a set of bikini that she actually wore, be it US flag, flame, camo, whatever. What is the point of giving her bikini and then make it solid blue? So now she fails to be part of the set and fails as a stand alone.
I plan to get at least one Marin in each "form", though I'm gonna stick with the bigger, well known manufactures for consistencies. I would only resort to... shall we say non MFC qualified manufactures if there is a complete lack of figures otherwise. Which is sadly a thing for some of the character I like, but definitely not Marin. There are a ton of Marin. It's just that the big brands are a bit slow, but that might be how they ensure quality I dunno.
P.S. I'm not entirely sure, but I think your lighting might be a bit too bright on the figures. It's really hard to see details like the paint transfer as a result.
Honestly i would say Rindo is one of the few bunnies that i wouldn’t mind paying aftermarket for - her face, hair, and overall sculpt is just phenomenal 🩷 one of the best bunnies released by freeing by FAR, so i totally feel you on that, we’re all victims of the aftermarket in one way or another 🧎🏽♀️
YUPPPPPP absolutely agree on Mito 🥲🥲🥲 she was the character i was most excited to see made into a bunny and the concept was a let down. Exactly what you said, ANY of the things she’s worn in the anime would have been amazing - but instead we just got a blue suit with no relation 🧎🏽♀️it’s such a shame. I am most likely going to wait on her bunny to drop in price, as i know she will, to see if I’ll pick her up for the set

I kind of like the Azur Lane pool base. Granted you can never display her from the front.
I think it's intended to be displayed from the back or side which when it's done that way I've seen way worse bases.

I saw that MIMEYOI has announced 8 1/4 scale Azur lane figures. FREEing also have a few, they drop by alot in price after release

That’s a really good question 🥲 basically she was one of the first resins I’d ever ordered and i didn’t do my research at all on the studio - I’ve since learned more about the hobby and if I’m buying unlicensed i make sure to make sure they have good past works or i don’t order it - unfortunately that wasn’t the case for this marin 😩💔

Especially R18 versions that they announce halfway into an anime season. The faces tend to end up being wrong or not even close to the prototype. And then they get away with it :(

Definitely one of the biggest risks with resin collecting, licensed studios are much more reliable - unfortunately this was early on in my collecting so i didn’t do enough research on the studio before buying 🥲 def learned my lesson now
