A stop motion review of GoBots CRAIN BRAIN.
He's also known as CRANE BRAIN, Machine Robo, MR-24, Crane Robo, or マシンロボ クレーンロボ .
For those who don't know what a GoBot is, they're basically puzzle robot toys like Transformers.

The creators knew exactly what they were doing when designing and making this go bot. But at least he can use the crane as a better mounted shoulder cannon.
The shoulder canon mode is my fan mode idea, but other people must have thought it too. It's such an obvious solution.

Your stopmotion is so clean
I did think about using your edit but my views were seeing a major spike and I wanted to strike while the fire was hot. This one is really taken off at the moment. I want to keep that momentum going.
The thumbnails are more mysterious now and the titles are leaning towards being click-baity, but the results have been great. I'll be able to buy a couple of more Huffers now.
And for the record, your trombone edit was much better.
The Lazy Eyebrow is a pro for sure.

Omg a friend of mine had that toy a long time ago. When I asked him what it's name was. He said he didn't know. But his dad called it "Schwang bot". It was years later when we found out what he meant by "schwang". 🤣

At least Go Bots have 4 separate limbs. Unlike many transformers which a solid block instead of two legs.
Go bots have a lot of good qualities. Its a very consistent line of mediocrity
when it comes to transformers it depends on year of production, of figure class, of figure character and vehicle shape. good example are ROTF deluxe, voyager and even scout sometimes. got lot of em in my collection, and they are actually pretty posable.

What a rebel
As a kid, I wanted the Transformer Shockwave so bad but could never find him in stores. So I did the next best thing: I got the fake gray Shockwave that was sold in Radio Shack and nicknamed “Shackwave” by most Transformers fans. He also had a huge “dong”. His trigger in gun mode was long and pointy unlike the real Shockwave who had a short, square shaped trigger that didn’t look x-rated in robot mode.
My friend has that gray Shackwave. But it got broke recently. The metal in it sheered right off.
That very odd! I remember the ONLY ones I would ever see in stock at stores were Shockwave, Grimlock, Omega Supreme, Trypticon and Inferno. I would never see any of the others in stock because they sold quicker.
Dammit, now I am hoping for these Gobots to all be released by 3rd Party companies because you made this one so much fun!

What a great video. Go-bots are so underrated. They were the first. I remember getting Loco and Spay C not to long before Transformers came out. Love them too, but Machine robo/ Go-bots will always be #1 in this book over here. Take care all

A lot of transformers and go bots had schlongs. Megatron had a huge one. So did Blue Streak. He had one that folded out that locked his waist and torso in place when they spun around.

Cool video! Nice little Go-Bot and funny too. Your stop-motion and editing skills are humorous and entertaining. Nice and informative without picking on the little guy for NOT being a Transformer. I was there before and during the Go-Bots era and Transformers era and both toy products were cool. Transformers became more popular and seemed to be aimed more at pre-teen aged kids and middle class income families and the Super Go-Bots and Revell model kits were directed at a slightly older audience as well. Tonka really messed up though with the Rocklords toys and that was an error that would cost them. Sometimes that's the way it goes though and experience is a good teacher. It would be nice to see another contender try their hand at converting robots close to this size here in modern times that has good details and decent articulation that even low-income people can afford and be something that people in higher-income classes would enjoy as well. I'm about to take a look at some of your other videos as this one has impressed me and I already have a feeling that I'm going to subscribe.

We had the black locomotive 🚂 Go-Bot (they were called Machine-Men in New Zealand), and we were amazed. It was the first transforming toy we'd seen.
But then about six months or so later those pesky Transformers arrived on the scene and we forgot all about Go-bots. 😟
I've got that train robo. Here he was called Loco, I think. In Japan he was Steam Robo.
Too bad Takara and Hasbro changed Grapple from his go-bot design. Imagine a Grapple masterpieces with the crane in the waist areas.
