I would definitely recommend making sure the screws grab something behind the fiberglass. I think the fiberglass alone isn't enough to keep the railing stable. Usually most doors should have framing right next to them where the railing goes, but certainly could be a unique RV that is different. Otherwise you might have to experiment with some kind of anchor and/or epoxy to keep the mounting screws solid.
Thank you. I used the included screws minus the bracket thickness to get a depth measurement. Then can transfer with painters tape to drill bit if needed.
Why keep the Rvia sticker? Does it really mean something? You and I are one in the same.... "anal" is how most of my friends describe me (maybe I need new friends). LOL You and I would be best friends if you lived in TX! haha Great videos... love all the attention to detail. You just need to get rid of that Ram and ger you a Ford... sorry, I had to!
What if no screws to take

@AdventureRocks thanks ! there are no mounting screws or a place for them if on inside I have to tear something up.
Have pictures can't get them on here. If ever can I will show them. thanks
Just finished on my Jayco, looks great; really helpful video.
Glad to hear it, thank you!
Very good video , thanks. I see your mounting screws are black. I had to paint mine!
Thank you. Wonder if they subbed different screws, perhaps temporarily.
Could be, I purchased it in November 2023. I also was shorted one in the little bag.
Just finished installing mine. love it!!
Me too!
Great video! You have a new subscriber!
Thank you! Glad to hear it :)
Well the bottom mount broke off. The screws are inside .i guess when it breaks you get a newer one thanks
Oh no, sorry to hear. Do you mean the screw head sheared off? Or the plate or rail itself broke?
A hair dryer works well, softening the glue on the sticker.
What holds the bottom of the rail to the camper when stowed, is it the magnet?
Just the one magnet about 2/3 of the way up. It seems to be one of those rare earth magnets, or very strong at least.
Mine has a lock pin that goes through a hole at the bottom.
How did you determine the depth of the pilot hole? Great vid and channel.

How long did it tale to ship from Morryde?
Shipped next day when I ordered during week. Ground shipping from IN.
