I’d really dig the 50s , my gold coin rang in on the 50s but lead styluses musket balls buttons and deep coins rang the same aswell until I took the top off. Cheers Gary. I'm quite sure theres big gold, little gold, big hammereds and little hammereds which will give a whole array of numbers. I had a James I shilling (huge hammered) once which gave a 94 on the XP, that would be high 80s on a Garrett. But I agree I am probably missing small hammered and small gold

Hi mate thanks for the great comments, it is without doubt one of my favourite permissions despite rarely finding anything old. Its just a fun place to detect and has been for many years. How does an Ethiopian silver coin end up there?! What a great question! I believe the coin to of been minted in France so thats a big clue

I've some land Winster and darley but I'm also in a group that do alot around Lincolnshire in coin fast what frequency you using or doesn't it matter....I love the way it identifys the iron ...so much easier than the nox in my opinion....love your videos m8 keep them coming.

Thanks for the video excellent, here's a thought about the silver coin Italy had pre war empire in that area and during ww2 allied soldiers occupied Italy and it's just possible a soldier may have bought it back but also it may have been bought back from the country of origin. Thanks again

Fabulous episode topped off with a silver, I have the same detector and gold is 58 to 60,and hammered coins can be 51 on the apex, 👍

@@Brodaty_Brodacz it has to be done face to face. I don't like it either, but I just pluck up the courage and go for it. The worst thing that can happen is they say no. But its a great feeling when they say yes. And some WILL say yes
