I find it funny how seeing them side by side GTA v makes the definitive edition still look like the Xbox and PS2 version of San Andreas yet when you look at the definitive edition by itself you can tell the upgrades 😂
100% agree. Gta V still looks better in terms of detail, but. GTA SA DE in terms of the original looks like a 10/10 its like they took the new map and tried to down scale it to a 90's version.
Because the game is still a lay over of the original not a compete new remade game.
the remaster looks way better than the original. playing it through you can definitely tell. everything feels more real

Keep in mind ones cartoon styled and ones more realistic, it does affect this a bit more then you’d think, just personal opinion, as much as I love SA I’d personally pick V, music is better in SA
That's not why at the time of release GTA:San Andreas was about as realistic as you could be given the hardware at the time it wasn't supposed to have a cartoon style
GTA San Andreas was never supposed to have a cartoon style. That art style ended with vice city.

There’s ain’t no way they could make a game with gta fives graphics back then, and even theoretically if they did, no console or pc could run it lol

I think GTA five is timeless. The graphics don't change as much as they used to and the animations are realistic and probably won't change much in 20 years.

Is it only me? i can't login rockstar social club it says currently experiencing technical difficulties
This shows it very well that models were kind of untouched and only better resolution textures were applied. Which is not a sin or anything, but on the grand scale the small details of gta v make it look way better and more alive, sa is blank from a plane, which again is not a problem, because the game was not desingned to be viewed in larga resolution and from large distances. The fog made ot look cleaner, because it hid the emptiness in the distance, and I wish they will add it back. Also legs underwater in sa get no effects, while gta v handles it and you can see a more realistic picture

Now i see why is Rockstar so proud of GTA 5, it's their most advanced GTA to this day (d'uh ofc), remaster is cool but this still somehow fits today's standards while Trilogy doesn't
of cource it doesn't and due to perfect reasons
Although GTA SA definitive edition has a flaws such as characters model and the size looks smaller than the original but GTA SA still has better story , protagonist and more fun than GTA 5.

I am a fan of the GTA San Andreas, but on this occasion I will choose the GTA V, the remastery that made it looks like a mixture of Fortgay with Mods of GTA V and full of Bugs.
