This is why I love Sam. He is so, so relatable. I constantly can see myself in him. He struggles with this inner darkness that he just can't seem to scrub clean, no matter how much he wishes he could. And he hates himself for it. Because it's a part of him. But he keeps fighting it. He keeps going. Because like he said, its not who you are. It's what you do. And that's why I love and admire him so much. He inspires me to keep going, to keep trying everyday and to fight that darkness. This video highlighted that so well. I mean I love Dean. Don't get me wrong. But this is why Sam is my number one and always will be. 💖

I’ve watched this so many times because it’s just...so perfect. The song is such a perfect fit for Sam. I had to go download it because after reading the lyrics and relating to it so hard, I had to have it. And this video captures it all perfectly. Just the opening lyrics scream Sam. “This is a song about someone else. So don’t worry yourself.” He’s always wanted Dean to not worry about him. He knows Dean does. But he tries so hard to be independent and make it seem like he’s all fine. I could go on and on. But this is just so good. So good.

His pain, his past, his own personal demons, have made him stronger. He's chosen to let them make him a more caring, empathetic person instead of letting them make him hard and bitter. His experiences have made him able to see the humanity in those Dean would condemn as monsters. Sam will forever be my favorite, and this is such a beautiful tribute to his fight!

wow that was cool! personally I find videos about characters hard too, but when it comes to spn I think it gets 100 times harder, because there are so many seasons. It's just really difficult to combine all events and development during such long time in 5 minutes. E' triste che molti non capiscano Sam o che credano che non ricambi l'affetto di Dean. Voglio dire Sam ha dimostrato molto amore per Dean. Gli è sempre stato accanto. Avvolte litigano è vero. Giurano di varcare la porta e non tornare ma, pochi giorni dopo, bussano a quella stessa porta e non c'è neanche il bisogno di chiedersi scusa per poter entrare. Basta uno sguardo. Sam e Dean sono forti solo se sono insieme e questo non cambierà mai. In molti hanno condannato definitivamente Sam quando non ha cercato Dean alla fine della settima stagione. Inizialmente neanche io capivo. Poi ho provato a mettermi nei suoi panni, ci ho pensato per ore, non ci credevo! SAM. Lo stesso Sam che era ad un passo dal suicidio quando suo fratello era all'Inferno. Poi ho capito. Sam è razionale. Tra i due è lui quello che pensa e analizza ogni singola cosa. Sam non sapeva che Dean era in Purgatorio. Per lui Dean era semplicemente morto. In quale altro posto poteva essere se non in Paradiso? Cosa c'è di male a sperare che per una dannatissima volta Dean sta bene e che probabilmente è con Bobby, sua madre e tutti gli altri? Non è solo egoismo. Forse abbandonare tutto, tra cui Kevin, fingere che quella vita non sia mai esistita è egoismo ma è anche la prova che Sam non sia riuscito più a ragionare dopo la scomparsa del fratello e che, come tutti, non è perfetto. Dean è sempre stato l'unica certezza per Sam. L'unica! Fin da piccoli c'era solo Dean. Sam lo sa come lo sa Dean. Sono uno la debolezza dell'altro da SEMPRE. Dean impazzisce anche solo all'idea di poter perdere la sua unica "ancora". Ma chi è che si sta illudendo? Dean si rende conto di non poterlo salvare per sempre? Dean ne è consapevole? Non sono immortali potrebbero morire da un momento all'altro e potrebbe essere definitivo. Sono alla nona stagione. Nella 8x23 Sam sceglie di vivere perché Dean arriva appena in tempo giurandogli che ce la possono fare. Sam guarda suo fratello e decide di restargli accanto. Sceglie DEAN, quindi di non sacrificarsi. Non ce la fa ad abbandonarlo. Rinuncia a chiudere le porte dell'inferno per Dean. Nella 9x01 rinuncia al Paradiso assicurato, ad un pò di pace, perché Dean lo implora di nuovo. Nessuno lo ha costretto ma come poteva rinunciare a quegli occhi così disperati, a voltargli le spalle come se niente fosse e abbandonarlo. Così torna in vita ma si arrabbia. Dice cose orribili a suo fratello che incassa i colpi uno dietro l'altro fingendo che non valgano niente. Sam addirittura gli dice che non farebbe per lui tutto quello che invece Dean ha fatto. Eppure alla fine della nona stagione si smentisce da solo. Perché è così. Sam non ce la fa senza Dean, ne abbiamo avuto la conferma, ma si odia per questo. Dean è stata la sua debolezza in quella chiesa. Le porte dell'inferno sarebbero chiuse altrimenti. Se Dean fosse arrivato troppo tardi Sam avrebbe vinto, se Dean lo avesse lasciato andare Kevin non sarebbe morto. Lui lo aveva fatto questo sforzo. Lui c'era riuscito a lasciar andare Dean solo che quest'ultimo non era esattamente dove doveva trovarsi. Ora non sto dicendo che è Dean l'egoista. Perché Dean ha tutto il diritto di pretendere che almeno qualcuno resti al suo fianco. Ha tutto il diritto a voler Sammy con se fino alla fine. Se lo merita per tutto quello che ha fatto. Ma Sam ha tutto il diritto di essere stanco!! Stanco semplicemente di vedere la gente morire, magari proprio perché Dean non lo lascia andare. Tuttavia come già sappiamo è pieno di momenti in cui Sam si è attaccato a Dean come se non ci fosse un domani. Ad esempio: tutta la terza stagione (vogliamo parlare di quando Dean era all'inferno? Abbiamo visto quanto Sam abbia sofferto, si è persino distrutto con il sangue di demone, si era completamente perso). Sam non ha sempre avuto la forza di accettare la morte di Dean. Loro due si vogliono un mondo di bene. Sam è forte dove non lo è Dean e viceversa. Si completano. Sam vorrebbe un altra vita eppure è ancora qui. Potrà incolpare Dean quanto gli pare di non voler rimanere solo ma il mio caro Sammy non scenderà mai da quell'Impala. Continuerà sempre e comunque ad ascoltare le solite canzoni e a comprare crostate solo e soltanto perché c'è Dean. Perché non c'è nessun altra vita che potrebbe compensare l'assenza di un fratello come lo è sempre stato il suo Dean. Ed è questo che rende la loro fratellanza la cosa più bella, triste e potente che abbia mai visto in TV. Gosh... The first time, I saw this, I was watching 6th series and I was like: "It can't be that bad. I mean it definitely isn't as bad as it looks." I was even smiling, while watching this. And now, I saw all series and evertime I watch this, I cry, like little baby. It's horrible, how much pain Sam had to endure and he is still smiling and encourages Dean, like this never happened. This is why I love Sam.
He is so, so relatable. I constantly can see myself in him. He struggles with this inner darkness that he just can't seem to scrub clean, no matter how much he wishes he could. And he hates himself for it. Because it's a part of him. But he keeps fighting it. He keeps going. Because like he said, its not who you are. It's what you do. And that's why I love and admire him so much. He inspires me to keep going, to keep trying everyday and to fight that darkness. This video highlighted that so well.

I'm so glad I found your channel! Sam is such an inspiration to me, how he's turned the ugly parts of his life into something good in the lives of others. His pain, his past, his own personal demons, have made him stronger. He's chosen to let them make him a more caring, empathetic person instead of letting them make him hard and bitter. E' triste che molti non capiscano Sam o che credano che non ricambi l'affetto di Dean. Voglio dire Sam ha dimostrato molto amore per Dean. Gli è sempre stato accanto. Avvolte litigano è vero. Giurano di varcare la porta e non tornare ma, pochi giorni dopo, bussano a quella stessa porta e non c'è neanche il bisogno di chiedersi scusa per poter entrare. Basta uno sguardo.
Sam e Dean sono forti solo se sono insieme e questo non cambierà mai. In molti hanno condannato definitivamente Sam quando non ha cercato Dean alla fine della settima stagione. Inizialmente neanche io capivo. Poi ho provato a mettermi nei suoi panni, ci ho pensato per ore, non ci credevo! SAM. Lo stesso Sam che era ad un passo dal suicidio quando suo fratello era all'Inferno.

Sceglie DEAN, quindi di non sacrificarsi. Non ce la fa ad abbandonarlo. Rinuncia a chiudere le porte dell'inferno per Dean. Nella 9x01 rinuncia al Paradiso assicurato, ad un pò di pace, perché Dean lo implora di nuovo. Nessuno lo ha costretto ma come poteva rinunciare a quegli occhi così disperati, a voltargli le spalle come se niente fosse e abbandonarlo. Così torna in vita ma si arrabbia. Dice cose orribili a suo fratello che incassa i colpi uno dietro l'altro fingendo che non valgano niente. Sam addirittura gli dice che non farebbe per lui tutto quello che invece Dean ha fatto. Eppure alla fine della nona stagione si smentisce da solo. Perché è così. Sam non ce la fa senza Dean, ne abbiamo avuto la conferma, ma si odia per questo. Dean è stata la sua debolezza in quella chiesa. Le porte dell'inferno sarebbero chiuse altrimenti. Se Dean fosse arrivato troppo tardi Sam avrebbe vinto, se Dean lo avesse lasciato andare Kevin non sarebbe morto. Lui lo aveva fatto questo sforzo. Lui c'era riuscito a lasciar andare Dean solo che quest'ultimo non era esattamente dove doveva trovarsi. Ora non sto dicendo che è Dean l'egoista. Perché Dean ha tutto il diritto di pretendere che almeno qualcuno resti al suo fianco. Ha tutto il diritto a voler Sammy con se fino alla fine. Se lo merita per tutto quello che ha fatto. Ma Sam ha tutto il diritto di essere stanco!! Stanco semplicemente di vedere la gente morire, magari proprio perché Dean non lo lascia andare. Tuttavia come già sappiamo è pieno di momenti in cui Sam si è attaccato a Dean come se non ci fosse un domani. Ad esempio: tutta la terza stagione (vogliamo parlare di quando Dean era all'inferno? Abbiamo visto quanto Sam abbia sofferto, si è persino distrutto con il sangue di demone, si era completamente perso). Sam non ha sempre avuto la forza di accettare la morte di Dean. Loro due si vogliono un mondo di bene. Sam è forte dove non lo è Dean e viceversa. Si completano. Sam vorrebbe un altra vita eppure è ancora qui. Potrà incolpare Dean quanto gli pare di non voler rimanere solo ma il mio caro Sammy non scenderà mai da quell'Impala. Continuerà sempre e comunque ad ascoltare le solite canzoni e a comprare crostate solo e soltanto perché c'è Dean. Perché non c'è nessun altra vita che potrebbe compensare l'assenza di un fratello come lo è sempre stato il suo Dean. Ed è questo che rende la loro fratellanza la cosa più bella, triste e potente che abbia mai visto in TV. Mi scuso per l'immenso poema ma quando si parla di Supernatural potrei continuare all'infinito. Se ci sono ORRORI grammaticali perdonatemeli vi prego! Non sono un genio della scrittura.

The first time, I saw this, I was watching 6th series and I was like: "It can't be that bad. I mean it definitely isn't as bad as it looks." I was even smiling, while watching this.
And now, I saw all series and evertime I watch this, I cry, like little baby. It's horrible, how much pain Sam had to endure and he is still smiling and encourages Dean, like this never happened. I mean, he changed, bud inside he is still our little Sammy.
It's amazing video and I love it so much, but it's making me cry, so I hate it a bit :( But I love it more :) :D
