It has been a very long time since TF2 has had any real changes and you've completely covered every subject anyone could possibly think of concerning spy gameplay. At this point there isn't much left to talk about until the pyro update comes out and even then there still wont be much to cover. We understand this and understand your decision to make videos not related to TF2, for those reasons or otherwise. Even if you decided to never make another TF2 video again, you will always be in our hearts and minds every time we press 9 on the class selection screen. Honestly spy is amazing there can be little difference between a decent spy and a really good one but the decent spy will die while the really good spy lives because of movement and techniques
I stated playing a lot in casual servers a week or two ago (before that I used to play mvm and training cuz I was afraid I would suck at playing with other people) and it turned out pretty well. Now I started watching your vids and it's getting even better which I'm thankful for. Keep making videos please

I don't know how he does it, but my friend is just a whirlwind of death when he uses this watch. He always seems to be everywhere at once. He's really good at chaining backstabs and has deadeye aim with the ambassador. He uses the spycicle exclusively, yet I never see him have any trouble with Pyros, even when people rage switch to deal with him. He sees the ice statues as his calling card lol. There's a lot of people in the community who love to rip on Spies who use this watch, calling them useless. I'd love to see those people on a team against my friend. He's the best Spy I personally know, maybe even as good as you, MrPaladin.
Man Mr P, something that stays consistent in your videos is the tension you create in your videos by what you say. You don't overdo it either and keeps you hooked on the video.
Cloak and dagger is probably my favorite watch. It gives you a lot of time to just stand back and analyze the most optimal way of going about things. Also probably the best meme watch, given how easy you can just stand around and call people spies.

Watching MrPaladin play TF2 always makes me want to play for some reason. There's a lot you can learn about playing spy, and playing against a spy just from watching him play. :P
The cloak and dagger is perfect for a lot of spies like me who need to travel under full cloak for a while because you can sit still and regenerate cloak and keep moving. Like on a camped 2fort base. No place to uncloak. Or in the situation where you need to wait for a crucial stab at the end of a match
I like using the Cloak and Dagger at times when the battle is pretty hectic. I do try my best and it really does work out in the end, win or loss. Job well done again Mr P
This was my first video by you Mr P. I saw the cloak and dagger in action and just had to have one. My 5-10 hours were me trying so hard to make my cloak and dagger working in my favor. It made me very scared of literally everything. After my 50th hour of spy play I must say, the cloak and dagger is “ooh he didn’t even know I was ther- PLEASE DONT SEE ME, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.”
there is a visual glitch in the game I love so much, its when a spy reloads and cloaks at the same time, its like the spy reveals his third arm, I think its just a neat little thing
I really like the cloak and dagger especially in competitive. I find it works wonders in gullywash for reporting information and hanging around waiting for the push.
I like this so much. MpVids make me feel like I can finally do smth useful for the team. But then these hopes and dreams get shattered by solid and cruel reality: no matter how much I play TF2, no matter how many MrP vids I watch, I still suck and will always suck as a spy.
My favorite trick about using the cloak and dagger is crouch moving while surrounded. I only need to move myself to the side a little bit since the enemy is going to focus on that one spot they last saw me. I could just sit in the middle of the crowd and just crouch my way out, while I leave them on a wild goose chase
I love the cloak and dagger so much, you have no idea. I am pretty much exclusively a C&D spy. I don't do a lot of stabs but I get a lot of heavy and medic pics and I see a lot of randomly flaming pyros and panicked snipers.
Watching this video I realized one thing that has been getting me killed is not noticing unusual's or things of that sort in enemies that I am disguising as. And it's true, if I have a teammate that has a lot of unusuals I definitely notice where they are, they do stick out after all. Time to start disguising it as more generic enemies
The cloak and dagger is definetely my favourite watch, I love relaibility and I love having the ability to choose your fights and the cloak and dagger is in my opinion the best watch for both of those things. And it was also really funny when I was playing against my brother that one time and I basically harassed him because I could basically just sit next to his nest and just wait for the perfect moment to kill him and his precious toys as well
if you're trapped anywhere behind a sniper, I have a tip that can get you out. Just wait until he shoots and uncloak with the shot sound. Especially effective against AWPers.
Hi MrPaladin, I want to thank you for your teachings on Overwatch, this free weekend let me play sombra for the first time (in which I just played it on beta) and my friend said that I did very good for my first time playing as her, and I noticed that I was playing EXACTLY like you, I did 17 kills gold medal on my second attempt, thanks for helping me learn how to play sombra, I look foward to D.VA that is actually my fav hero, but I can't actually play her ;-; keep it up!
Yesterday i was playing as engineer on 2fort with a little sentry nest and a spy pops up infront of my dispenser and (it was about 12:55 so iwas kinda tired) i got a bit confused because instead of the sentry being active it just looked at him and didnt shoot (it had full ammo) and he was just standing there doing the "you got blood on my suit" emote and without the smoke animation dissapears and that was honestly super scary and after that happened whenever i went to type i heard the uncloak sound and sometimes an actual spy was there but when there was a pyro in the room and the uncloak sound happened and i asked him why he wasnt doing anything he replied "beacause no ones around and there was no decloak sound....are u ok?" and honestly i dont know what was going on.....can someone tel me if i was just hallucinating or if im being cursed
Of there is anything that i learned about not using the spycicle is that you should try not to engage pyros and snipe him crime a distance unless you are completely undetected and behind him

Probably payload,any map works.Use the C&D on defense and l'etranger and invis watch on attack.Trust me,its a pretty good strat.
