@@TheTruestPug honestly thats certainly true on specific maps, but theres also others where standing in one position the entire game will get you rushed down and killed. kinda depends on the map, sometimes you stand still click on heads and have a relaxing game and other times you keep dying because your team doesnt defend you
So I decided to analyze the weird death at 6:45 frame-by-frame, and where's what I found: First, Phish takes a pipe to the face; a clean 100 damage to his health bar (as demonstrated by LazyPurple's "funny ragdoll montage" from How it FEELS to play Demoman EXTRAS). Then, he takes a good chunk of fall damage by being propelled down by the pipe, leaving him at 24 health. And finally, to add pain to the cupcake, his Original just... fails? By somehow hitting the ramp underneath him, which according to my quick google search hits him with *at least* 27 self-damage, killing him (near-)instantly. I highly doubt if I'm right but SOMETHING clearly went wrong here
15:03 I have rewatched this back stab 100 times now at the slowest frame rate i can and I am 100% convinced that the engineer he "Failed" to back stab Was using an anti back stab cheat. Ive seen them before Their subtle I hope you go back through your game and report that engi. Thats 100% an anti back stab cheat How the cheat itself works is that it registers the presence of a spy at the back of the player character. it then decodes its back to set itself as NOT the back just before the back stab connects. Its why you saw your knife raise but the moment you swiped, the back stab didnt connect or register. Because as you stabbed, it changed its registry as a different part of the player object or player hitbox
Curious that you came across an anti-backstabber. I had the opposite experience- a spy who would get backstabs no matter what. He was claiming lag, but people pointed out that he was really bad at other classes and his ping went up only on Spy.
I know this is a few weeks late, but ever since you’ve done BTS I’ve gotten back in TF2 and it’s been the most fun playing a pvp game again, thanks for bringing some slight life back (even though it never really left lol)
