Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that only be a bad thing if you missed your weak bullet? It seems like it would only encourage players to play better and land weak bullet first try (Please tell me if I'm dumb lol)
You should keep in mind that the cooldown for Weak Bullet is only 10 seconds when maxed; veteran Rangers who could already land their markers on the first try are seeing this as a nerf to Rifle's DPS and casual Rangers who barely use/remember Weak Bullet to mark enemies may be discouraged to use it altogether, since most would rather commit to Fear Eraser than deal with the clunky animation for the +20% damage boost.

well that just cripples the ranger DPS, which was something urgently needed for how low Rifle could be in DPS otherwise
I wish point WB was baked into NGS Ranger. At least the cooldown is mercifully low, just don't miss your last loaded shot.

Imo, ranger felt super slow before the nerf and now post nerf I just don't want anything to do with it.
