Doesn't make you basic to hear the Spirit of God speaking to you through books, makes you a good listener. The fact that you can recognize His voice through those books, is already something!:)

Please say a prayer for my mom’s 86 year old cousin, Christian author, Julie Walters of South Bend, Indiana. She’s not doing too well. She’s had falls and we ask for God to have mercy and guide her gently to His home. Her brother, Scott Hopper is fighting a battle with cancer so, he needs prayer, too. Julie’s husband, Clem is still living and is her rock and could always use our prayers, too! Thank you, God Bless! 😇
Hi. I get you. I am 45 and I've always wanted to be married and have children. It's been my dream since I was four years old. I still haven't met the right man. Everyone tells me to be happy without a husband, but it's really hard for me, since being married is all I've ever wanted in life. I'm trusting Jesus, though, leaning on Him and hoping that someday I will meet the man of my dreams. I won't give up if you won't, Oceana!

I am not a romance reader at all. Too many times they are not realistic and I just hate that. However, this year I have gone through times, especially during summer and Christmas, when I needed something lighter. I chose some that I ended up loving, two of those were because of your recommendations. They were so much deeper in faith content and in romance than what I expected. Lulu's Cafe was one and My Hope Next Door was the other. SuSuIchc beautiful stories!! I have read 4 or 5 others from your list as well. I can absolutely see how you can hear God speaking to you through books like these. From some, I can see how to love people better, God's Way. From others, I can relate a faith aspect to my life because I have seen it played out in a story that I can envision in my own life. Nothing basic about seeing God and hearing him speak to us in every area of our lives, not just Sunday mornings! 😊❤

Have you’ve read “the mark of the Lyon” trilogy by Francine Rivers? I would put the first 2 books on my list- A Voice in the Wind & An Echo in the Darkness.
I have! I felt like they were more like Biblical or Christian fiction with a romance sub plot! They will make an appearance in my favourite fiction books video coming next month!

I’ve read Redeeming Love multiple times and have found nothing that comes close to it, it is my all time favorite book. It’s so beautiful. It was my first Christian book that I ever read. Ever since reading it I’ve tried finding others like it but have not so far that’s why I’m watching this video lol.
Edit: just got to your next two favorite books and My Stubborn Heart is also one that I’ve reread before and had read it right after Redeeming Love. That also is such an amazing book, you get to see how God works through things and how it may not make any sense to us but in the end it all comes together, and makes us stronger.

I'm a romance author and a Christian, and I've always written stories that don't have sex scenes, but I have yet to write any truly "Christian romances." I have one in mind for the future though, so I'm trying to think about that more and also read some Christian romance, because I've honestly never really read a faith-based romance novel.

I read a book in December that compared the ocean to God's love. It was talking about how God's love surrounds us like being surrounded by the water in the ocean. At the time I was in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, so it really spoke to me. God's love surrounds us like that and the Pacific Ocean is huge. I can't remember which book it came from but it was a beautiful simile. So I understand you when you talk about books bringing you closer to God.

My Dear Friend I missed the Mark of the Lion trilogy but I understand you couldn't make the film too long😉.
I would consider Mark of the Lion Christian fiction but not specifically romance which is why it didn’t make it here. I’ll be doing a separate video about the non romance specific favourite books of all time! 😁
