Painting a Byzantine Face

I am painting the holy face of Saint George of Kappadokia. Byzantine Iconography is very relaxing and meditative. I do hope you find this helpful in any way. έχω ξετρελαθεί με τα βιντεάκια ,αν μπορείτε να δείξετε και με πράσινο γλυκασμο κατω απο το σαρκωμα θα με βοηθουσατε πολυ στις ενωσεις βεβαια θα χρησιμοποιησω ολα οσα δειξατε ειναι πολυ βοηθητικα ευχαριστω πολυλυλυλυυλ

Very nice, it would be good also to say what colors you mix for each layer of paint.

Thank you so much for your comment! The brushes are extremely important when painting a face. For faces I use DaVinci pure kolinski. Natural bristle.

Please, what is the pigment colour of first light? You added some red on the cheeks, not shown in the video?

Yes I added some very liquid red on cheeks. The first light is ochre, titanium white and red. It doesn't really matter to me the name of the colors as long as I get the hue I want.

Εγώ κάνω τώρα 4 χρόνια αγιογραφία αλλά δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω γιατί δεν μου πετυχαίνει το πρόσωπο και τα χέρια τα ρούχα και οι μανδύες είναι πολύ εύκολα και τα καταφέρνω στο πρωσοπο και τα χέρια δεν τα καταφέρνω δεν ξέρω γιατί
