Come on Bear 🐻. You got this brother. “I KNOW YOU CAN DO THIS” set some real goals, chase your dreams. I believe in you. Marty & Live free saints in my eyes. Good luck 😉
Bear you are doing fantastic, ❤ it can be done as I was on between 10 - 16 cans of Stella a day I was alcohol dependent and I gave up last may 25 I'm 52 years old and have drank all my adult life, I'm 8 months sober and feel like a new woman COME ON BEAR YOU CAN DO THIS ❤❤❤❤❤I also quit smoking after being heavy smoker for 30 yr. We are all here for you bear, big up live free ❤
Chris i love what you are doing and marti you know im a supporter just go steady with him Chris ❤ respect all three of ya ...bear you are a lovely lad good-looking version of guy martin 😂😂 nice and steady son. Go to work get job done come home bath Tea few beers relax ❤❤
Bear is being given a chance by the two street angels, Chris and Marty, a couple of genuine guys who know what it is to struggle and who realise that failure is an integral part of long time success, keep going Bear we are all with you !
Thats 100% true. Giving up beer straight away can end your life. So take your time and ween yourself off with help bro. Most of us, as Chris said, know what he meant by medicine. If you wanna give back to those that have helped you Bear, Then keep it up , continue to improve and BE PROUD OF YOUR SELF! like i suggested in an other video, making your own shandies may help you ween off or atleast cut right down, as it did a good friend of mine.
you can do it bear my son has just given up alcohol it can be done but sadly u will need to give it up for good horrible drug it is leave it behind and i can promise u that u wont look back or if you do it will be like wtaf was i doing!
Bear, this is your chance matey, DO NOT stuff it up. You have the ability to change your life forever and your girlfriends too and yes you may have bad days and don't want to work or want to drink more but you have to just pick yourself up and get out of that mindset and get on with it. You have a lot of people caring about you, don't let them down but most of all "DON'T LET YOURSELF DOWN", you can do it matey and live a much better life than you ever have. All the best Bear, keep smiling and get those frigging windows cleaned haha.
I lost my mother to alcohol when I was 18, I know how hard it is to get off the stuff especially when you’re using it to numb pain, big respect to you bear
In work today and I’m thinking what’s Bear up to, hope he’s well. I’ve packed in the weed this year, night times are the hardest to get through, stick at it mate, god bless.
Me myself mate I was in intensive care for 11 days in September last year , I had 7 blood transfusions and nearly died , all because I wanted to drink 14 cans of cider everyday for over 20 years , cutting down down to 4 cans from what you have been drinking is amazing and you should be very very proud of yourself , keep it up,I’m now 5 months sober! IT CAN BE DONE 👊
Hello Bear, I just want to say that I have been where you are now, and I promise you that with the right support, you can overcome this, buddy. I live in Cornwall, and if you can get through the next four months, there will be two weeks of accommodation down here in Cornwall for you, all paid for. Keep up the good work, mate; you can do this!
It's not as simple as that. I'm just worried for him the pressure might be abit too much too soon. Gently cut down on the beer. Chris needs to go with him everyday he works otherwise at the moment I can't see him going to work on his own sober not yet it's way to early. Chris will have to watch him like a hawk at the sametime not push him to much. Nice and steady and good communication is the key.
Bear. With this channel. And once you learn how to film your rounds and get into your stride you could be laughing lad. One day at a time until the time when someone asks you if you want a drink and instead of you saying ' Nah I don't drink anymore', with a sad face You say 'No thank you , I don't drink ' 😉 see you on the other side 👍💪💪💪
Cutting down doesn’t work mate! Sorry. He won’t potentially die. But there’s a good chance he could if he carries on drinking like that. Let’s see how he gets on and if he has kept it to 4 cans today. Because the first drink is the problem drink. He’s got to want to stop and as yet hand on heart I’m not seeing it. Credit if he kept it to 4 cans. Credit if he keeps it to 4 a day over the next week, but it is dangerous ground. Again I will say AA is available free to attend and there are meetings pretty much every day and there’s quite a few around. So if he is serious that’s the best place he can go. And I wouldn’t tell people to do things I haven’t done. 15 years since I last drank.
Can i ask where you get your information from because what you are saying is completely different from what the medical professionals said when i went in to alcohol recovery.
@ medical professionals disagree on these things. Some argue that coming off bit by bit is safest, others argue that because of the nature of addiction and it being different from coming off certain drugs, it is best to come off drink completely. The latter is the best way to deal with addiction in terms of the addiction itself and although there may be risks involved (sometimes) with coming off completely if someone is drinking pretty much 24/7 those are offset by the risks of drinking so much (which include all of the things that can happen whilst drinking, eg the results of the out of control drunken behaviour). But as I said, I think, see how it goes over the next fortnight with just 4 cans a day, but I have my serious doubts it will stay at just 4 cans because the nature of addiction is just as soon as you have your first drink you’re just going to keep drinking until you fall asleep. Then you have to ask the question, since 4 drinks a day is leading to 20 still, what is left? Carry on as you were (drinking and ruining your life or dying in the process) or stop completely and not having the first drink. So I’d monitor how he gets on over the next fortnight but if it slips into more than 4 rather than reducing it, there’s only really one course of action.
