IT'S TASSIE TIME! I think this would be a great track for a night race (during warmer weather!), more on that in this video: ruclips.net/video/7srepmvvDJ0/видео.html
Can't wait to see what kind of racing we get this weekend, especially in the wet! Symmon's Plains was the track that got me to go from watching what I could find for free when I remembered to, usually just highlights packages, to signing up for the series' RUclips membership to start watching regularly, and I've only missed watching a few races live since then. So it's a bit of an anniversary of sorts for me, I suppose lol. Always fun to watch Aussie Racing Cars around there as well, hopefully I'll be able to tune in for those. Stateside, Xfinity series and thus SVG will be racing for the first time since the Olympic break. They'll be at Michigan, a very high speed 2 mile track, with wide, sweeping corners that you could fit 8 cars abreast and have room left over. Wild restarts and great racing at that place. Based on the oval tracks that SVG has seemed to adapt to quickly and run well at this year, I'd expect this to be a good weekend for him. Who knows, may even get his first oval win! Lol. Excited to see how that race plays out for him
Happy Supercars anniversary! It's a track that really allows you to admire the car dynamics and driver skill. Hoping for a good result for SVG, he seems to be gradually sneaking up on an oval win! Enjoy all the racing action 🏁
@FanAtTheFence haha thanks! And yeah, it's a great track for it's relative simplicity. Really appreciated you referring to the hairpin as being nascar-esque and explaining why so well, as that turn drew me in the first time I watched for that reason. Hope you enjoy your race weekend as well!
With a hairpin like that someone is definitely getting the short end of the stick at some point at that place. I imagine alot of words have been exchanged between drivers because of what happened there...
I was at Symmons plains during July it was so shocking to see how steep the hairpin is couldnt get in to the pits but could only see from afar the only spot you could get close is turn 4
Yeah TV rarely does elevation justice, I remember being stunned visiting Bathurst in person for the first time. Everything's just so much more intense than you realise. Would love to see Tassie's turn 4 myself one day!
because it going to be raining and stanaway is under pressure i think he will win the wet races this weekend, if it stays dry on sunday then im going to say lebroc

Great preview format, thanks for covering the session times and support categories. Looking forward to a great weekend of Supercars action.
Thanks heaps Ron! Appreciate the kind words

Haha you're spot on, it's been triggered plenty of drama over the years!
