This came at such a perfect time for me. I've recently gotten back into the gym and working out for my riding fitness. Glad we are all on this journey together to reach our riding goals. No matter what they may be!
Piggy seemed to have such a lovely vibe and the yard seemed so calm. You came across as fully connected with one another - speaking your own horsey language! Thanks for taking us along.
How wonderfully accommodating and down to earth is Piggy please! I loved how she spoke about her horses like she knew every single one of them like the back of her hand, so personable and passionate! You are amazing as always too Meg!
"You have to do a little bit of guessing." Previous vlog shows exactly who you've gone to film with. 😄 I was so excited for this one! Time to grab a coffee refill and settle in. Had two root canals yesterday so I'm lounging in bed with a killer headache. All good, just sore. This is an excellent distraction, thanks Meggy❤
Love the things you are branching out into, Meg. Embarrassing to say, but as a casual observer to equitation, I hadn't heard of Piggy Marsh before. Loved her attitude and the vibe at her brilliant yard. And most of all, loved the way she talked about and to the horses. What an amazing person. More of this, please and thank you. (P.S. I have re-watched your video with Otis and Rich Hayward several times and find something new each time and just love the energy the two of you have together). You have a great personality and are knowledgeable in how you interview people. So enjoyable :)
Love Piggy! Such a character and truly one of the greats. Good for you to get that fitness session on camera! It is so true we can ride all day, but change the routine just a bit and the body lets you know!! Love following your vlog journey! So many fabulous adventures! Thank you!!
Amazing seeing the fitness and then the horses. I am sitting here watching after shoulder reconstruction surgery. I just love this. PT just started for me. so this has
Great video Meg. And she was right, once you get your fitness going, it really helps with the nerves and anxiety, because you just feel more equipped and feel like you can just do it. Great video
Very much enjoyed watching others exercise while I sit, having my lunch. 🤪 And I would have been fan-girling huge being around Piggy! You handled yourself v well, thanks for sharing ☺️😀
I enjoyed this video- shows what a 5 star rider needs to go to keep fit, and all the support her team provides. Agree that riding alone is not enough! When will you be posting more riding videos on your own horses such as lessons with Rich, Piggy and Lucinda, cross country schooling, training videos of Ari and Winnie, weaning Ettie, etc. Miss when your Mom was in more of the videos- she always made insightful comments about riding. I guess I am missing the old format some.
Such a good video and insight in to the life of such a prestigious rider! And it’s made me think… I need to be fitter😂❤️ I love how Piggy is set on never stop learning. So true and wonderful she is influencing others to think the same!
I’m really looking forward to watching this video. I just read the description and I cannot wait to meet her at the national equine show that I’m going to soon!❤
Great talk about rifer fitness, would be good to see some low impact options for those of us who are a little older getting back into riding after a break. Less running on asphalt too - your knees will regret that in another 20 years' time!
I find you so inspiring with riding and I always love your personality in your videos it's historical 😅 I have been riding for awhile and always watch your vids for inspiration and encouragement it's great and don't stop riding I don't know what I would do lol but seriously I and other people really look up to you!!! 😁
This was a very interesting and fun vlog Meg. Piggy is a very lovely lady and your so lucky 🍀 to be invited back for a ride on one of her beautiful horses. I love that chestnut and the grey wow. Tfs😎🏇😎
I dont ride anymore (sadly, one day will get back to it) but found this really interesting as I'm currently on a fitness journey too. First few weeks have been hard but it is slowly getting easier
hi meg i have just broken my finger and told i can't ride for 6 weeks got my first pony 8 days ago any tips for staying alife hope you are good hows dora xx
What we call fruit juice tends to be freshly squeezed (or the similar concentrate version). Squash is the stuff you dilute with water. Robinson’s or Ribena are probably the most famous brands.
@@alisunwatson2913 yeah we do have those as well but we tend to call it by the full name - butternut squash, spaghetti squash etc. If you just said squash, I think people would think of the drink first 👍
Piggy is the queen of low key backhand compliments 😂
So glad I'm not the only one who picked up on that 😅

I was at Burghley and the anticipation when Piggy was doing her sj round was crazy!!! Everyone went mad when she cleared the final fence😂😂❤

Such a great and inspiring video. Piggy seems so nice.
You're so talented, Meg. I mean I know it takes practice and work to be on camera but you're natural at it.

Did she say “a glass of squash” what on earth does that mean? (Curious American here)
A glass of fruit juice!

@@brendahole9575 interesting over here squash is like the vegetable
A Google search tells me that it might be the equivalent of Kool-Aid.
