Some ideas I had:
1) have a vehicle that can tow the various guns, light artillery, etc. that can currently only be pulled by soldiers. This would help their mobility on long hauls, but the hitch/unhitch would take some time. They already have tow bars, so why not use them?
2) add the ability to remove shell craters to the Shovel
3) a Lantern/Flashlight item that restores night vision radius to its normal size, and also reveals the lit area to others - including enemies! It also takes up the "radio" slot maybe?
4) A "Crowbar" item that can be used to dismantle structures & vehicles. It is much slower than a satchel, but free to use.
5) a "Welding Torch" + "Construction Kit" items that can do construction and repair slightly faster than the normal Hammer, but can only do it on vehicles and structures respectively.
6) a "Winter Equipment" item that lenghtens the freeze timer (or removes it entirely), but takes up the backpack slot. There might also be a "Armor" item for the same slot, that can absorb some damage to you before breaking, but is very heavy.
+ more ideas : for the clothes slote idea: a gili suit(lower the enemy vision ate you). Snow /mud shoe's (walking normal speed in mud/snow), light uniform ( a heat wave macanic: survive more time out side whan there is a heat wave and you can walk faster but you are lest armored), heavy radio( a batter radio but it's will make you slower) . A and we need triansss!!!!

Sorry about that. Somehow this slipped through lots of us reviewing the video, but that's what happens when you add a ton of content to the game in one single update.

I can't believe I just found out about this game right now. This is the most interesting game I've seen in a LOOOOONG time and I hope it continues to get more content in the future
The game is amazing:
- Single huge map with multiple front lines with day/night/weather
- Incredible number of building items, weapons & vehicles
- Fun teamplay, easy to make squads/work together
- Everything is constructible and destructible
Watch a house crumble killing everyone inside, ride in a jeep and gun people down, fire artillery and scorch the earth, or just take a break and hide in a bunker to warm up.
Beware the general commitment of time you'll be doing. If you're expecting to go in and take an area within 10 minutes, well.....it could happen, probably, but that's extremely unlikely. Often territorial control is fought out over hours.
As an example, I got a second wind for this game today and ended up fighting across a bridge that took, say, either an hour and a half, or 2 and a half. The result? Neither side won, it was a long stalemate that was still a stalemate even after we had tanks deployed to push through because they were so deeply dug in and just really damn good at defending. I don't know if that fight is still going on (it's likely concluded by now). Oh, and this wasn't some special base, this was a fucking BRIDGE we were fighting over. we didn't push them back a good amount all the way to some last base that's the most defendable like other games, this was just one of many generic locations you can fight in.
Now, yes it was fun all throughout that time, and yes you can quit at ANY time really, but that should give you an idea of how long engagements can be on average.
@@Manglet762 lol ya bridge fights are brutal. You'll have waves of corpses to finally get to the other side, and when you get there you can easily lose the foothold quickly. Bridges can be multiple real days of fighting... its all about tactics, support and defenses.
That rule pretty much applies to all locations though. We once pushed really well and cleared a highway to a village. We took the village but a counter attack came about 2hours later. Despite the rebuild and some defense structures in place, it wasn't enough to keep the village. Hundreds were killed on both sides in the counter attack, and we lost most of the highway as well until their push was finally put to a halt 4h later because their tanks hit our mines & tank traps and eventually ran out of fuel.
Its fun to log into the map and watch the changes. You can say "I fought and won this bridge last week!"

Holy hell, I might not play as much as I used to but I try to follow your development and I need to say, you guys are doing some amazing work!
I know that we can make fire pits, but what about the fireplaces inside town buildings? Could the next update include an option to light up those fireplaces to keep warm and dry?

True, but the devs said a fire pit warms you up faster than just being in a shelter. It would be nice if we could have sone source of fire inside of a building.
I was excited for warden mortar vehicles and the new atmosphere, but we got a truce in a region based around a conga line between both teams, not expected, but welcomed.
I thought this was gonna be the brutal first 5 minutes of the war.
While the Fushina has advantages...

This is basically what Civilization: Online was supposed to be like, but that never happened. This game rocks!
Any ideas how to get rid of mud? I was fighting another guy in a trench and it was clear we were both caked in mud, moving at a snails pace. I eventually killed myself with a grenade accidentally because it ricocheted off the side of a bunker and landed at my feet.

New artillery, but rifles can't shoot over 87 feet. 29m... Might as well be throwing rocks. Fix the range of firearms, it breaks the game. I realize you can't use irl range, but 50-100m would be nice

And, here, is the varied weather conditions of ice and weather, but, it's not game-permanent, the weather of Winter is tied directly to comparisons of the real winter of those years, as it compares to our world, in this world... or, maybe it's this world, instead... and the sequel is leaning to be bought by 'Fallout' and turned into multiples game modules, including an auto-battler, but, more for the M.M.O.3rd.P.P.o.V. games of running and hopping up and down with a little rattle shoot gun.
Do you have building, so I can look at my character, instead of trying to shoot somoene, implemented, yet?

Logi still broke and weather will be cock and ball torture. Theres a reason, often, more people are playing morrowind at any given moment than Foxhole on Steam.
You gonna tell these nerds it takes hours to make and supply a tank to only lose it in seconds to RNG on the battlefield in minutes? The game would have more players if you undid all the updates back to when logi was functioning.

If you ever wonder why your player numbers aren’t going up, all you’ve got to do is listen to the players suggestions.
Imo tanks need a rework, it takes hours to make them, they can be destroyed in seconds. People in same faction fight over them and steal from eachother, everyone wants to drive a tank, but noone wants to farm for it. It createa infighting for all the wrong reasons. I barely played foxhole in comparison to most of the community, I only played through 3 wars, but it was the same in every single one, as soon as tanks were researched, all the advanced equipment stopped beeing produced because clans would gobble up all advanced materials to hide them in for themselves and build tanks that would be lost in mere moments or stolen from them by lowlife solo players.
Edit: I will give this update a try because I love the game concept. Hope its as fun as it was when I just bought it.

Cant wait to farm mats and research for 3 days to try out the new tanks just to be killed and/or carjacked by clanners because despite your updates you still do nothing to prevent player toxicity. Your updates mean nothing when you continue to hemmorage players
Iv got over 2k hours in Foxhole (never in a clan) and experienced very little toxicity overall. It’s probably something with you.
