@@BlackBeltTitus it’s definitely something special. I bought a audio technasia vinyl player that I have plugged in for sampling, then I got a condenser mic plugged into a phantom power source that goes plugged into the maschine, so I can record vocals on the spot 😭 truly the most fun I’ve had producing music ever.
You should totally make a live set video. Fred Again is the reason I got the Maschine last year and Ive been trying to figure out how he uses it. The beginning of the song you made would be a great build up for a drop.
@@BlackBeltTitusJust something like DJ decks, synth, soundboard or anything really that can mix your track with other songs, sounds and samples. Just subbed to you!!!! I'm a guitar player myself and checked out a couple of your vids!!! keep it up!! We need more content like that on this platform!!!
Love it, id like to try to get something like that for the intros into songs then bring the main song in through a dj controller - the transition etc, think that will be the hard part
I remember before Skrillex stuck with the CDJ's instead of his laptop, he would use his M-Audio trigger finger to completely destroy his tracks with FX from Ableton. It was during his mothership tour in 2010-2011.
The video is nice. I am also new to maschine mk3 and I think everyone would like it more if you can show us the navigation on the maschine as well when you are making the video like what buttons you are pressing, etc.
@@BlackBeltTitus I will love if you could make a beat while teaching because some tutorials on RUclips are just too much to take in all together and there are so many things that most people don't even use on the maschine. So a tutorial on how to dj live like fred again and you should also look into Jersey, will be very fun and helpful. I'll be waiting for one!
Get the Midi Monsters Traktor mapping for Maschine MK3. Well worth the 10 dollars. It has every feature in Traktor mapped out nicely. I use it all the time. the only thing it dosent have is the sample deck. It has stem features though. If you want to use Maschine all you do is peress shift + channel and it automatically switches over to control Maschine. It took me a little bit to build the muscle memory but I can't say enough how worth it, it was. Then you can do videos that Ive been looking for LOL!!

The only problem with the machine is that you have to premake everything before hand. I may be a bit bias but I have been using Ableton Live with a setup that looks very similar to Madeon's. But it is instead focused on finding stems from your collection while live to then mashup on the fly or even change up your own remixes and pre-made sets. The idea behind it is to not to treat it like a gimmick, but a way of working.
Yeah if I were to actually get into it I probably wouldn't strictly the maschine. but I think it could be a great addition!!! Especially if you use traktor!!!

If I were to get a DJ setup I'd go with traktor tbh!!! Just cuz I'm so integrated into the NI ecosystem. but I'd definitely be open to that!!! So happy you liked the video!!!
This whole time I was thinking he should hook this up to a XDJ-XZ cause it could go right into channel 3 or 4. As for the rx3 maybe buy a splitter for the master output an try plugging the machine into that? You'd have to beat match to the bpm of the machine.
My bad!!! ik people have been using MPC's in live music for a while. I was specifically talking about the Maschine tho. and specifically in the context of Fred Again!! thanks for the input tho!!
