Thanks for sharing such a quick, easy and helpful video! I'm a 50 year old woman who just replaced water inlet valve! Your video made the whole process super quick! 🙂

Just in case anybody else comes across this problem where you need to replace this part for this particular model. Make sure that prop off the panel and get the model number. This model that this video is referencing to get is not the correct part. I went and bought this part, same model as in the video and it was the incorrect model that I needed. I wind up having to order a W11210459 for mine which is a manufactured replacement of the W10701459 REV B

Our washer was filling very slowly as the cold water solenoid wasn't fully opening the valve. I ordered the part from RepairClinic, and watched their DIY video. The valve assembly was delivered to the Florida Keys in two business days, in new condition, and carefully packaged. Twenty minutes after opening the parcel the washer tub was filling like it did when it was new. My wife says it's filling better than it did when new! Thanks RepairClinic!

So we replaced the part easy. There was a drip leak between the blue valve and the motor/motor harness. The harness can be turned a bit & that seems to have fixed the leak.
I couldn’t find the replacement part anywhere locally so I just switched the cold water line to the hot one but we only run cold water on our machines anyways? Is that an ok truck for the mean time until I get the part?

I’m assuming this part needs to be replaced if your washer is not pulling cold or hot water when it’s set to one of those? Mine pulls cold water only no matter which setting I put it on.
My valve drips into the tub when machine not in use. When I turn off the cold water supply line the drip goes away. Could this be a seal on the cold side being stuck partially open? Can I clean the valve, or do I need a new water supply valve. My model is WTW4816FW2. Thanks
I bought this same wash machine used, thinking the water valve needed exchanged because it filled slowly I replaced the valve only to find out it still fills slow, is anyone else having the same issue ?
The cold water isn’t going through on my washing machine, I seen online it could be due to the water valve full of gunk. But on this model you can’t see the gunk, I wash my clothes with cold water only and when I moved into this apartment the landlord said I’d be using hot so I’m suspicious something could be wrong with his hoses? I’m not sure somebody please give me advice
I'm trying to find a video on how to replace water inlet valve part # 10758829.for washing machine Serial number C53572701 MODEL NUMBER WTW7300DW0. Does anyone know where I can find a video on that exact part and model number? Supposedly there are 3 washing machines made look identical but have different parts such as water inlet valve and I found videos on the others but can't find a video on my exact number and part #.please help if you know
Thank for the info. I will tell you like I tell every place using a digital narrator, DON'T USE THEM, I am sure I am not the only one that finds them extremely irritating.
Okay...this is NOT how you open the top on my Whirlpool washer lol...you guys would be directing some people to completely destroy their washer by making it look so easy! Mine does not have 2 tabs on the front to open with a fucking putty knife gtfo
This is the best video!!! So easy to follow! I was able to change my water valve almost as fast as the video!!!

Thank you for this video. Replaced the water inlet valve and working like new!

Many thanks for this info. I replaced mine without issues although note: I had to also remove screws on the back of my control panel before removing

I get no power to the cold side water valve? Do you have a video for that?
Thank you for this video. It help so much . I just fixed my washer. 🎉😊

Do I need to reset it after installing it? The red light is flashing and the machine isn’t working…. Thank you for the video!
Yes, after you replace any part on the washing machine, you have to do a reset.
I followed this to the exact and everything is working! Thank you
Thanks for this video, the Lord be with you!
And also with you! 😊
How do you check if the water inlet valve is ok
Can I just change the blue part ? That’s the only thing that is broken ? Or do I have to change the whole thing
Probably late, but you have to change the whole thing. I accidentally stripped the cold water inlet and had to do the same.

What are the symptoms of this part going bad? My washer clicks and has a relay chatter sound when first turned on...
When removing the control head panel, you didn’t mention the two 1/4 head screws on the back you have to remove also.
Just replace Maytag MCT I am stuck in the sensing light and problem is not fix.
I bought this same wash machine used, thinking the water valve needed exchanged because it filled slowly I replaced the valve only to find out it still fills slow, is anyone else having the same issue ?
Mine doing the same i get no power to the cold side valve. Did you figure it out?
As crazy as this sounds I connected the Hot water line to the cold inlet because the cold valve wasn't opening. This strangely enough fixed itself
Thank you for the video. Followed it strp by step and washer works great! Thank you!
Thanks for the video. Worked great.
Wow that Water Inlet Valve is made in the USA!
Thank you so much for this awesome video. Ordered the part. Followed all of your simple, clear instructions. Washer is working like new.

Your power outlet is not GFCI, that is a code violation.
Not if one is close by and tied in

I get annoyed with digital narrators (text to speech generators) as well, but I don't think this video is using one.
