listened to this for what felt like ten minutes max. synchronising my breath with the monks chanting , thought I'd better check how long I'd been at it, because it was quite loud, and I didn't want to upset the neighbours.It turned out I'd been sitting for an hour and a half and had entered a blissful state of transcendence. The last several months have been really hard. I've always been a devoted daughter, despite how my mother treated me. It was only after her stroke, that I finally admitted aloud how negative, toxic and emotionally abusive she has always been. She will not speak to me. She's cut me out of her life, by doing so, she doesn't speak to my grown children either. I've had a lot of physical pain, sleepless nights and migraines as a result. I am trying, every day to move forward by forgiving her. Sometimes, like today, the sadness is overwhelming. This peaceful chanting helps me find my center. Thank you to those responsible for posting it.
Love (or devotion) does not require that you let someone continue to abuse or hurt you. You can wish her well, you can pray for her, you can forgive her, and still go forward with your own life among those who care for you.
There's no excuse for anyone to be treated this way. I don't like to put it here but what happened to your mother sounds like Divine Intervention. 100% Divine Intervention and Karma go and -in-hand. Add to that the brilliant cosmic vision of light particles falling into the charged surface of the lake in front of the rower -- a deep sense of wonder is evoked. Cold logic asks us to give up our sense of awe, but we must not. It is a gift to be nurtured.

I have tried meditating to many OM chants, this by far was the most enchanting one. I was in a trance state and I could feel tingling in my crown, heart and third eye chakras. Thank you 🙏
