That is terrible German Soldiers in uniform are spit on in your train stations . . Has that ever happened to you ? Are you still in The German Army now ? I was in the US Air Force . I served in your country in the Saarland 20 kilometers from the French Border. I was at Zweibrucken AB in Zweibrucken. I loved it in your beautiful country. My base closed in the summer of 1991 and almost all of the base buildings have been torn down. The runways were used as a commercial airport for awhile but some one in Belgium said the airport had to close down . It's only used now for privately owned planes and the German Luftwaffe land planes there some times . The indoor skating rink is still in business. They play hockey games in it. What town are you from in Germany ? I went back to Zweibrucken AB in ' 82 or ' 83 I had a US Air Force Friend who was still stationed there . He lived near by in a small village called Rieschweiler with his wife & daughters . I stayed in his house. I was on vacation from my US Government job. I got out of the US Air Force on 25 May 1975 a few days after I got back to the US @ McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey .
