- In 1984 a superb film of the Casa Verdi in Milano was published.
It follows the lives of the guests-----retired musicians.
The retired Italian soprano Sara Scuderi, 1906--1987 appears briefly in this introduction.
I've viewed the full film and it's great-----all the guests are living for the moment----not in the past.
It was re-mastered in 2004.
Verdi was responsible for the building and financing of this home for retired musicians.
This upload is a short sample of Tosca's Kiss, sometimes titled Il Bacio di Tosca.
The full film is available with a choice of ,English,German,French and Spanish subtitles.

Mckavitt13, 'Bacio di Tosca' was recently restored and remastered. It's available on dvd in the US as "Tosca's Kiss." I'm sure you can find it internationally as well. Icarus Films was involved in the recent project to conserve and re-release the film. As the Italians say, da non perdere! not to be missed!
