BMW Concept Active Tourer | 2012 Paris Auto Show | Edmunds.com

BMW showed off the Concept Active Tourer, a front-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid with a new TwinPower Turbo 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine, electric motor and lithium-ion battery at the 2012 Paris Auto Show. BMW appears to be jumping on the fuel economy bandwagon with the debut of the concept. The concept gets the U.S. equivalent of 94 mpg, with CO2 emissions of less than 60 g/km.

there are plenty of bmws with no power. but this one is hybrid and fwd. if the lack of power was the first thing that made you think its not a traditional bmw, you have a lot to learn

Well technically this BMW Concept is all wheel drive since it has electric motor in the back which sends power to rear wheels. But still it's a shame BMW is trying to fill segment with FF layout car.
