Oh my Lucy those old Percy the Park Keeper colouring books are amazing. I used to watch Percy when I was small and it makes me think of my grand father who sadly passed a many years ago 😢. Thank you for sharing them, I'm going to try and track them down xxx

What a lovely collection of stuff. Really nice pens and bits and bobs. That double page spread you said you loved at the beginning of Secret Garden, I coloured it all with an 18 pencil set of Pablos and it looks like I have coloured it with at least a 72 set because Pablo pencils are such wonderful layering pencils that create so many new colours with putting one on top of the other and using black and white to change tone. I love Pablos.

Particularly love your hauls Lucy. Everything is fabulous. I promised myself a month off from new stuff, but the tin of 28 new Chromaflow pencils I couldn't resist. I ordered this afternoon & Cult Pens have shipped today, even though the release isnt until Monday 15th.

Also, I’m pretty sure that book is AI (I wouldn’t bring it up had you not mentioned it in the video). I think it’s more obvious looking at some of their other books, as I could see some ai-type errors in them, also they have a number of books all published pretty close together and only recently which can sometimes (but not always) be a tell. The images are cute though .

Crayola Supertips (or any water based marker, actually) work quite well with the brush--to-tip application technique. I'm a lazy colorist, so anything I can do to save a step or time or both, I'm on it.
Regarding Sharpie style alcohol markers, the Sharpie brand makes something called 'The Ultimate Collection 65' which includes just about all of the colors they have ever made (including the Special Edition Mystic Gems colors). What it doesn't include, however, is the Special Edition 'Portrait' collection (the set of browns/neutrals that you have). It's fairly pricey, but for those who want all the colors, it's far less expensive than purchasing their special edition and regular collection markers sets individually. When compared to the Shuttle Art 60 set, the colors are similar, but not identical. Additionally (on Amazon US anyway), there is another very good budget set like Sharpie and Shuttle Art called Hethrone and they make a 72 set. Again, similar colors to Sharpie and Shuttle Art, but not identical and very budget friendly at approx. $19 US. Last but not least, there is an Amazon Basics 24 set, which in addition to being inexpensive is pretty much an exact match to all the main Sharpie brand colors. (Don't ask me how I know all this. Let's just say, I've got a bit of a marker addiction.) 🙂

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it, just be careful that some of the Shuttleart markers might yellow, and of course the new Crayola Supertips just fell in my basket 😉

Hello Lucy I live in the UK and I buy my colouring heaven from asda and Wh Smith and my family buy it for me and enjoy your colouring and I am really enjoying my colouring and you don't know where the time go and if I go to the hospital to be inpatient my family will bring my colouring stuff up when they visit

HI Dearest Lucy, yes I'm with you to the end. Am so glad you like the little gifts. Firstly the Manriquez, books AMAZON do about 9 books on amazon. Alice is lovely. All cute but one I thought you would die for, there is a froggy one - knowing how much you love RJ's latest one. I don't believe they are AI but iI could be wrong. ive looked at them my self and am considering them
FYI also the dual tipped brush pens you mentioned I know shuttle arts also do some 120 for £21, I have 2 set of white label both black and white barrels and they've lasted me for 3 years. I love the shuttle Art brand and it has never let me down,

I’ve avoided buying the Shuttle Art Markers because they had a poor name for marking the pages underneath the coloured page so I’m interested in your colouring with yours Lucy
They do go through the paper as they are alcohol based so you can only use them in single sided pages. They are really nice to used though xx
The colouring enterprise books also have one for cats,one for dogs n another for winter animals so there r 4 in all Lucy ❤

Oh that's a tough one. It depends on what colours you are looking for really. Some sets don't have black or white and some are softer colours than others. So I would compare the sets and see what would complement the pencils you already have. I hope that helps some what xxx
RE minds me of Ruth Sanderson’s books, this one from Australia you worry about AI I have some of Ruth’s books hand drawn she has a variety of books all with medium to dark images.

I suffer with a lot of ailments degenerative spinal disease, chronic arthritis and fibromyalgia amongst other illnesses, and I have been colouring since I was a child, I'm actually 57 tomorrow 11th, I struggle with pencils but also a lot of good books won't take pens ie: alcohol markers and watercolour brush pens, arcrilic ones are quite good but you can't really blend with them.
So I have brought a set of shuttle art pencils, a few years ago I tried castle art but couldn't use them.
What pencils or pens would you recommend please, most of my books are kerby Rosanes and johanna basfords with rita berman ones, and then odd other ones,
I struggle putting pressure on tye pencils so I need I think a creamy one, I am ordering a set of 48 prismer ones tomorrow, obviously cant afford the bigger set, and have a bumper set of about 20 books I've picked for my partner to get me for my birthday.

Hi Rachel, firstly happy birthday for tomorrow! I would recommend Arrtx pencils I have the 126 set and they are beautiful. I use them all the time. They work well on all papers I have tried. I also have fibro and get terrible pains in my hands but these are easy to use. Another really cheap option is the Amazon basis. They are so cheap I did a video on them they are equally as lovely with only come in 72. I really hope this helps xxxxx

The colouring heaven magazine you showed us, is not part of the subscription. It had 48 pages and that is always a giveaway, the subscription is always 40 pages. The one you have, is sold out from Colouring Heaven, so not available.
Ooo, and Matchstick Mouse, that animal you were wondering about, it is from Australia, but my mind draws a blank just now what it is called. I will try to find out. And I know you tend to call all animals «he», but you do know Matchstick mouse is a girl, right? 😂
