This was a fun video to watch. I took Younghae's Learn Copperplate Online course back in October and ever since I've been obsessed with pointed pen. I hardly use my brush pens anymore. Learning Copperplate made me realise I prefer the traditional styles of calligraphy to modern calligraphy. My next goal is to learn Spencerian.

All of your videos are awesome. I had downloaded your guidesheets for lower case alphabets. I have learnt copperplate style from you, which has made me like traditional calligraphy over modern. I am really looking forward to learning flourishing. Can you please upload videos for that or suggest which is the best place to look for it on social media ?
So, of course, I'm far too new to attempt certain aspects of calligraphy; with that being said I can see where identifying where the ovals should be would definitely help me in the process. I am having a real issue with the consistent sizing of my under and overturns. Thank you for this very helpful video!
I am interested in learning coppertone style. Have tried to learn it on my own but did not get very far. Now that I have seen many RUclips videos on calligraphy I am ready to try again. I thought coppertone style had to be done with pointed pen!
Love your beautiful mess! You totally can do Copperplate with a brush pen! My own style is based on Copperplate ( thanks to you) and I use a brush pen and the IPad. Someone asked me the other day how I got my IPad Lettering to look so much like pointed pen! 😉. It’s the end result that matters and if you are happy with it! Keep up the great work!❤️
I don’t necessarily need help with the letter shapes, but with the angle of the copperplate lettering. If anyone has any tips on hand to paper placement for this, it would be great! Ahahah thank you!

I’ve never written any form of calligraphy before but I really aloud live to get in to it because I just want to see what it’s all about
