I was lucky enough to be one of the 7,000 people at this game. Our seats were in the lower bowl of this end zone, directly behind this play. (Was also the end zone Taron Johnson ran into on his pick-6, side note.) I’ll never forget as it was happening, multiple fans took off down the stairs making the safety sign with their hands. After Taron’s pick-6 my whole experience at that game was a wild fever dream. Buffalo went nuts that night.

The wind was nuts and Growing up in Buffalo, if you have ever even played catch in January for 20 minutes you’d get your hands get numb. There were some tough snaps that josh handled and cleaned up from Mitch Morse too. And he’s one of the best centers in the league.

The one on Allen was definitely legit - defensive tackle took a couple steps after the ball had already been thrown and contacted Allen, but also thought it was necessary to push him pretty heavily. Wasn't a wise play.

I'm not sure about the rules but wouldn't a safety be more appropriate? If the ball is thrown over the head of the QB or a fumble somehow cause the team to be 40 years behind the line of scrimmage, all the QB has to do is throw the ball where no one can catch it and he saves 30 yards?
Regardless of where the QB is on the field (Of course behind the line of scrimmage) and once he is out of the pocket he has 2 choices if he wants to ground the ball (1.) toss it in an area of a receiver (2.) toss it out of bounds. *NOTE* if he tosses it out of bounds he has to be out of the pocket and the ball must make it back to the original line of scrimmage. (IF NOT it's intentional grounding) and a safety is never good because you give up 2 points plus your team must then punt the ball away from your own 20 (and yes Punt not Kick)

Bills player was already making the tackle before ball left Jackson's hand. Jackson didn't give himself up after recovering a fumble, so he gets treated like anyone else when they recover. I didn't think it was wise to try and do anything other than lay down on the ball, especially when you do not look over your shoulder to see what's coming after the entire field just watched you chase a ball into the end zone. Fair play, but a tough hit. This is the NFL.

It was a big hit, but he also did not intentionally throw his weight on Jackson's torso when they went down which is also an important part of that rule. Tough hit but a fair play. Again, I say that nobody ever wants to see a QB get hurt so I hope he's ok.
