- Super Smash Brothers Ultimate has been truly rumbled! In a previous video we absolutely nailed the math and predicted the second fighters pass with 100% accuracy! But... just for the sake of argument, what if some things were wrong and we wanted to do it all again? That's totally not it, but let's do it anyway... okay?

Hey, about that Minecraft release. I don't think it's all that accurate to place it in 2009, as it only was the alpha version of the game that got released, in other words not the completed game. The official release was in 2011, so being a western and 2010's rep works for Steve. :)
That's means shadow is a possible fighter.(even though he has his own series that is a shooter,but he appears in almost every sonic game

re-calculating Fighters Pass 1 based on the previous data, to see how closely it matches reality.

Eggman would actually be a great rep considering that the Sonic Movie gained so much buzz and put eyes back on the series. It would also give another villain, another Sonic character, and possibly a rather unique fighting style.
As someone who has only ever played Green Hill Zone but has a lot of friends who like Sonic, I’m actually pretty curious as to how Eggman would play

@@BlueStar91254 agreed, it's honestly long overdue and people have been wanting him as a character since the April fool's joke that he could be unlocked in Melee alongside Sonic.
Video idea: Make a roster out of the opposite data. If Sakurais motivation were to get more diversity in Smash, that means the requirements to enter would be the opposite to what is currently in Smash.

Exactly what i was thinking. This grid is about 2.37% credible in its current state.
We need our Prof Layton or Arle repping Puzzles, and we should see that Rhythm Heaven rep too. Also Waluigi is a shoe-in because Assist Trophies haven’t been promoted to Fighter yet in Ultimate.

The last video was good for a laugh, but this is a legitimately sensible roster squeezed out of some rather arbitrary variables. Impressive work.
This would honestly be a pretty good roster. Not just for representation, but also in terms of gameplay. All of the characters have something unique to bring to the table. If big boss were to make it in though, it would definitely be as Venom Snake.

Raiden. Raiden shares a large amount of similarities with Gray Fox (Uses a sword. Cyborg.) and could even have an alt costume for Gray Fox, or have a Gray Fox inspired color scheme for one of his costumes.

My thoughts exactly. Have a mascot costume Mario come out and do the "come get some" gesture and Crash would be all "wow I didn't think that would really work".
Imagine, it starts off like the n64 smash commercial, then the guy in the Crash suit just starts yelling at them over the megaphone.

An Arms character can actually fit. It’s a returning pub but a new series, a 2010s rep, from the east, and can represent both male and female based on the character. And since Arms basically has its own genre as a fighting game with a twist, it counts as an ambiguous genre.

In all seriousness, Steve can still qualify to the matrix, because the official minecraft 1.0 launch was in 2011 and he's both genders (male leading), is from an action/adventure/shooter game (I included the shooter because one of the best strategies to fight creepers is with a bow), is from west with a returning publisher (microsoft) and a new series

Mathematically the only problem is the decade representation. Big Boss fits the bill for 80s and 2000s. Raiden only represents the latter. . . but for the sake of originality within the fighter pass, as Big Boss would almost certainly be stuck as an echo which breaks the rules, I think we can make it work. Raiden is from the 2000s, but his series is from the 80s. Problem solved. . . kinda.
Also, even though he originated in a Tactical Espionage Action game, Raiden would almost certainly take on his appearance & fighting style from his best-known and loved appearance, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance: Rising is an action hack-and-slash game. However, I think we can definitely let this one slide.
Raiden would certainly complete this roster in a more satisfying way, though I can't help but feel that Travis Touchdown would bring a similar gameplay style while being a more exciting inclusion. Oh well; the numbers don't lie.

@@CoolMintMC A beta is a mostly complete game. If you're thinking demo, those don't count. I'm honestly against Steve and Alex joining Smash outside of becoming skins. It legit surprises me that I never (and I mean NEVER) see people talk about the idea of the Contra characters being in. The fact it would surprise literally everyone is part of the reason I want it to happen.

I love how well edited your videos are. They’re such a nice visual treat to watch. If you do more Smash content in the future I think it would be cool to see which characters are statistically the most likely to get buffed and nerfed based on the past two games’ patch history.
