Hello there
We don't talk about bruno no no no
Maribel is the voice over by Rosa from Brooklyn nine-nine
We Don't Talk About Bruno for sure, but they were all great.
Surface Pressure! I love Luisa!
Mirabel's father was accident prone. That's why he was getting stung by bees all the time, and that's probably how he met her mother.
There’s a theory that he started getting into accidents on purpose just to see mirabels mom
I can see that happening
Just he walks up and she’s like this is the 3rd time today
I'm pretty sure he's the one she heals the most because of his clumsiness 🤭
Does he just not feel pain?
@@PinkBookNerd probably just has a high tolerance since he’s so accident prone
because Mirabel was in the center of the front door and she has no powers like Abuela, it's theorized that she's supposed to take over as the matriarch after her
I think that HOME is her POWER. I mean, after the house was rebuild, the magic appears as if. So i theorized that house is hers from the beginning.
@@apetpsdc exactly, the only two people who actually talk to the house, are mirabel and abuela, more evidence that she is her replacement, her hier
she’s the miracle now
I like the theory that she got a power but not a room. The power being Empathy and the reason for no room is a) She wiped her hands off before touching the door. or b) Empathy requires being connected to people so she is connected to the house not a single room.
@@harrypottersnumbrfan There's a theory going around saying that the reason Mirabel's door disappeared is because it merged with the front door of the house. So instead of having a room, her "room" is the house itself.
I like how the kids all wear the colors associated with their parents but Isabela is wearing purple at the beginning, which is Abuela's color. When she's finally herself, her dominant color is blue like her sisters and parents.
I noticed that in a lot of cartoons it's like that, the children will have colors associated with their parents or even mixes of their parents colors.
Not just the Color the Butterflies represent the magic ea member of the family clothes has a symbol of their Power. Weights or Flowers or In Mirabel's case Butterflies
True kinda but also its the colors of the colombian flag
Her power was inspiration
Lin-Manuel Miranda proves again that he is a lyrical and musical genius
Loved this much more than In the Heights. That play was better imo than the movie.
There isn't a bad song in this movie. Moana is full of bops too. Guy's got talent to spare for sure.
Fridge horror moment: Can you imagine being Bruno and getting out of the house, turning around, and seeing your niece going after the candle - and then watching the house fall on her? And not even being able to go be with the rest of your family while you process her apparent death, until you notice the family spreading out to look for her?
Bruno needs about five million hugs for those five minutes alone.
I actually found a comic I don't remember where, but the comic is basically what if Bruno went out the other way and he saw the house about to fall on Mirabel. He does the instinctual thing and goes to shield her, yeah he does not make it in that comic. 😭
Omg I never thought about it from that angle.
My god Bruno deserves his own movie.
I have so much love for that man. 😭
@@alexisdowers2030 I've seen that comic. Poor Julieta couldn't heal him.
@@Hinatachan360 I know 😭😭😭😭😭😭 but at least he is with his dad right?😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
😲🥺 I didn't realize that! Poor Bruno...😭
When Mirabel's father says 'miercoles' it's actually a Spanish joke.
Miercoles literally means 'Wednesday' which doesn't make any sense... but it's similar to 'mierde' which means poop. So a polite way to say sh* is to say miercoles instead.
ohhhh i was confused because i have very limited spanish knowledge and went “why’d he say wednesday???”
it's like english speakers saying "shoot" instead of "shit" or "fudge" instead of "fuck"!
@@rosyellis14 ......
@@hobiwankenobi.666 more like trying to say “shit” and catching yourself and saying “shiitake mushrooms”

This movie is STUNNING, visually, musically, and story-wise. I haven't loved a Disney film this much since Wreck-it Ralph
It's just so good. It feels like being such a bandwagon thing, but... it really is amazingly accomplished on so many levels.
Right?! Both masterpiece movies
I know right
Since wreck it Ralph? I don’t want to judge you… but man I find that hard to believe
I liked Raya very much
One of the best movies ever made. Bold of Disney to show grief in it's true form, in Abuela's flashback her reaction to the murder of her husband is one of the most heartbreaking and realistic depictions of grief I've seen in animation film.
💀💀
Totally agreed. It was the first time I felt Disney showed true emotions of grief.
I didn't catch it the first time through but the depiction shifts from the opening scene when she's telling her granddaughter the story and then at the end when Mirabel finally understands her grandmother.
The grief and the lasting trauma is handled so wonderfully but that tiny change in telling the same story is so moving. How do you explain to a child something that traumatic? It's important for her to know because it's been poisoning their relationship for years. On the other hand Alma clearly wanted to spare her granddaughter from the whole horror. He's not just a man in a picture, this was a man she loved. She didn't just had a life with but was planning a future with. Then she's alone with three children reminding her of the life she lost each and everyday. It's exactly what Mirabel needs to hear but it's the last thing Alma wants to tell her.
But... UP
@@cottonhairedaesthetic2005 Nice story with sublime take on death but the animation wasn't that good
Mirabel achieved everything she wanted from “Waiting on a Miracle”
“I can’t move the mountains” the mountains around the encanto crack when Mirabel confronts Abuela
“I can’t make the flowers bloom” Mirabel encourages Isabella to grow and bloom into her true gifts rather than staying stunted/pruned
“I can’t heal what’s broken” this one speaks for itself
Wait a fucking second-

Got to admit, i liked seeing the guy cry, and lauren is so beautiful 😍 i enjoyed her reaction the whole time
Both of your reactions were fantastic
Lauren, when you cried, I cried. I think that genuine emotion is the greatest gift a reactor can give.
This movie is so great and there's something about the gifts that makes everything better. The triplets gifts represented things Abuela wanted when her husband was lost. Bruno because she wished she could've seen what was coming, Pepa because she needed someone to put out the fires, Julieta because she needed magical healing to save him. Then the next gen is also things she wanted. Isabela because she wanted to be loved by the town, Dolores so she could know what was going on around her, Luisa because she wanted the family to be helpful and useful, Camilo because she was missing her husband, then Maribel didn't get a gift because Abuela needed someone to one day take her place. Finally Antonio got a gift that Maribel thought he would love, showing that the gifts are switching to Maribel now!
OHHHH SHIZAP
See, a friend of mine has the opposite theory. That the powers each person gets connect to their own emotional needs. Pepa, for example, is the middle child of the triplets, and middle children are often overlooked. The weather responding to her emotions FORCES people to pay attention and take notice of her feelings.
They represent the roles people take inside family dinamics, specially in toxic ones or in those that have suffered intergenerational trauma: the perfeccionist, the strong one, the shape shifter that models his/her behavior according to the dynamic needs, the healer, the moody one that reflects the family’s emotions, that one hypersensitive that “sees” things just because he/she is more observing than the average person, and the empath that monitors the members of the family and it’s the source of warm and comprehension
@@angieortizurena3327 yup that’s it
LOVE this idea
Bruno breaks my heart, yes Mirabel had it rough, they all did, but her family loved her, she was looked after. Bruno got blamed for bad things happening when he didn't cause them he just saw them, then he spent 10 years in basically solitary confinement. He said he had a lot to apologize for what did he have to apologize for? He didn't do anything, he ran away, sort off but what else could he do?
You can't really say Bruno ran away. He hid away to protect Mirabel so no one would think she might wreck the house as she grew up. Remember, only Bruno knew about the vision until Mirabel found it again and let it public. If he wasn't trying to protect her, he would have still be there albeit the miserable "creepy" uncle that no one is friends with.
@@JohnDoe-ur3tr Exactly, he had to abandon his home and live alone, because he knew how his family would react. We saw them freak out at the during the engagement dinner. Poor Bruno knew they would assume the worst and tried to protect her. I shudder to think how he got food and where he washed, etc. We saw him sneaking around, so I'm assuming he was getting food and going to the bathroom. The magic could have stepped in earlier, poor man spend 10 years in the walls.
@@3kylajsmith Actually Dolores very probably helped him getting food.
If you watch carefully during the last part of "We don't talk about Bruno", we can see Dolores checking around her, and then, in a dance step, coming close to the family tree, probably to call Bruno for dinner.
There are even very cool and funny theory about how Dolores was found of Rats Telenovas of Bruno that she could hear through the walls.
I immedeatly started crying right at the beginning when she told Mirabel about her Abuelo when I watched it for the first time and still get watery eyes.

Y’all cried so much throughout the movie, I was fearful of the Dos Oruguitas part 😂
Edit: Yep, did not disappoint
"Surface Pressure" is my favourite Disney movie song, full stop.
It's not as technically impressive as "We don't talk about Bruno", but the lyrics of "Surface Pressure" are just so freaking good, and Jessica Darrow delivers them with such passion.
It hits me right in the feels.
It's upbeat but it's actually very depressing when you listen to what she says.
@@melissacreel4719 Yes that was my point. It really hits hard in the feels.
I feel like no one ever mentions how the dying house tries to safe everyone and to help Mirabel get to the candle and then use it's last power to get everything what's left to her to protect her from the falling debris. How can a house appear to be so desperate and caring? ❤️ I love Casita. I want my own. 😅
I swear this is like my 5th time rewatching and I cry everytime I see the house trying to save them😭
Mirabel actually has a gift: saving the miracle. She was given a CHANCE just like Abeula, saving the miracle and helped rebuild the entire town mentally and physically. Great movie.
I noted one thing : Isabela said Mirabel is always on the way but it's the pillar in the middle that allows a building to hold
I've always been a proud Colombian, but this makes me feel like a special Colombian, Disney represented for my culture,🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴
It was great to see it represented in such a positive way, makes me want to visit immediately!

The Dos Oruguitas scene is incredible. It's a masterclasses in dialogueless storytelling. They manage to introduce Pedro and make you fall in love with him in seconds, and then Alma's devastation is so powerful. Her scream of agony makes me cry every time 😭
Currently I'm a Colombian living in Germany and when this movie came out we went to watch it with out little Colombian community here. Let me tell you that the moment the movie started, we cried like babies. I think it's a mix of how representative this movie is of our history, the family dynamics and most importantly of the culture. How beautiful, rich and full of encanto it is.
Surface pressure gives me emotional whiplash in the best way possible, the lyrics are this really heartening subject, but then the instruments are like 'hey this song goes hard' and switches to a lighter beat out of nowhere, and then you got the freakin funny backup donkeys. It's allover the place, and I love it.
The dad getting bee stings and other unfortunate accidents almost on the daily shows a hidden lovestory between him and the mom.
The guy is basically unlucky (a stereotype in hispanic culture) and the mom's cooking can cure anything. So it hints that they probably met due to his accidents. Meanwhile for a husband he is a very good listener, which is shown by Mirabel opening up to him first about Bruno's final vision.
This movie deserves 10/10, 100% rating for being the best visual, music, background settings, character devolpment and etc.

That's an exaggeration. She was pregnant in her last trimester, though.
@@carlotta4th no…it’s not an exaggeration at all.

I'm not fine, I'm not fine - the simplicity of those words combined with the depth of emotion. I feel it.
Right?! I love that song
That line made me tear up the first time, and I was frozen in the cinema seat thinking “this is amazing”. Her admitting that she’s not fine so early on in the movie was not something I had expected at all…
Fun Fact: mirabels voice actor is stephanie beatriz and stephanie is also better known as rosa diaz in brooklyn nine nine
I cried so hard at this movie. Visually stunning, the colors, the music, the characters, it hasn’t got as much love as other Disney movies but I thought the deeper message was wonderful. My kids loved it. Dos Oruguitas is my favorite song, a beautiful, moving song.
Honestly I never expected to love this movie as much as I did, usually these musical disney movies aren't my thing but this is one that has truly become on of my favourite disney movies
24:28 “Or she’s the Sorcerer Supreme!” Imagine if a variant of Mirabel who studied magic after not getting a “gift” showed up in Multiverse of Madness
She’s basically the new candle. The source of all their gift. That’s her gift. Her gift is to give gifts to her future relatives even without the candle.
Something that I just realized, and I’ve seen this movie more times than I’d like to admit, is that the house interacts with Mirabel more than anyone in the family. She has a connection with the house that the others don’t seem to have.
Also I love how hype y’all are over surface pressure because I don’t think it gets the credit it’s due!
I love that thr grandkids of each daughter had similar themes: see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil = Camilo, Dolores, and Antonio (the kids of emotional Pepa & Felix). Then: brawn, beauty, & brains = Luisa, Isabela, and Mirabel (the kids of practical Julieta and accident-prone Agustin). I thought that was some awesome writing and creative storytelling. There's obviously the generational issues but I think everyone experiences that. Sometimes you have to go through it many times.
I love seeing Lauren Francesca in this channel again. Encanto is a beautiful emotional and charming Disney animated movie. I love the songs. My 3 year-old niece has been watching it over and over again for a while on Disney+.
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one that sobbed during “Waiting on a Miracle” 😭
I LOVE that the family being fixed had to begin with Isabela and Mirabel hugging. They're two sides of the same coin. Isabela is raised to be the next matriarch, but that's actually Mirabel's destined role. Isabela feels trapped into her circumstance and feels resentful of Mirabel because she sees her being ignored as having freedom, and Mirabel resents Isabela because she's jealous of her golden child status. They were the two key family members who had to come to an understanding before the family could begin to heal.
it's such a sweet movie right? I think it could have been a bit better but overall it was really endearing and well done and the animations are super lovely. glad you guys enjoyed!
edit: I think her gift is her connection with the house and family? she's basically the house's best friend and everything? essentially she's the one who will take over as the family caretaker from her grandmother or so it seems.
Yea, especially since she was the one first embraced by the house at the end and how when she put the doorknob back on the whole house was given light again and everyone’s powers were reignited. She is not the one who must carry the candle
I don’t feel like that was Mirabel’s gift. If you look at her character, it could be interpreted as a metaphor for being disabled, physically or mentally. Especially since she’s the only person outside of her father in the family that wears glasses, aka a disability. She’s treated as different, unable to do the same things as everyone, in the way, etc. Same could be said for Bruno. They’re not physically abused, but in a family that wants perfect, busy children, they are seen as imperfect and therefore neglected for the more perfect children. And the point of the movie could be that you don’t need to have a “gift” or a talent to be worthy of love. You don’t need to be able to do the same things as everyone else. So to say that Mirabel’s gift is the house is sort of undermining the point of the movie as well as the multiple interpretations that Mirabel’s character has. Not every giftless protagonist has to have a power at the end of their movie, right?
I love that they're no villains in this movie just misunderstanding and lack of communication and how everyone has family problems the abuela never wanted to be the bad guy she was just hurting and trying to keep her family close but it was suffercating them and abuelo dying must have been a horrible death if they didn't show it
I would say that the villain is unprocessed trauma (specifically generational trauma) and unfair familial expectations
thumbnail tells me already that you guys are gonna love this movie. favorite song’s gotta be surface pressure. it’s soo good!!!
If you pay attention to "we don't talk about bruno" you can actually tell that bruno was still there if you focus on Delores. In her first part she always talks about him in the present tense "i can always hear him sort of muttering and mumbling" also in the background if you watch the balcony he will pass across the screen with a green glow and dance at the end. And in her sacond part she says, "it's like i hear him now... i can hear him now!"
OMG this movie hits hard in sooo many different ways!!! I’m so glad you reacted to it, and of course, did it justice 🥲
Luisa’s song hits so hard for me, cause I know what’s it’s like to be the “strong one” in the family. And that pressure of always having to be on point and to make sure things went smoothly.
Never being able to crack, and always having to make sure you handle everything that’s out on your back. Until you really feel like you’re gonna break. It’s not just about being strong physically, but mentally and emotionally to always have to carry the weight of your family on your back. To the point that any sight of weakness is considered a flaw. It’s such a bop, but it always makes me cry.
Hands down the best thing Disney has done in YEAAAARS!!!!

Great movie. Surface Pressure is my favorite song.
What Else Can I Do is mine
As the oldest in my fam, Surface Pressure made me weep. My kids said they knew that song would hit me. And I like that Mirabells gift is gonna be taking over as the keeper of the candle or Encanto. I love this movie. 💜💜
Never expected y’all to react to this movie
Mirabel's gift is taking over for the Grandmother as the conductor the one that watches over everyone and keeps everyone balanced. Such a brilliant film! The animation is mind-blowing.. Just look at the skin and hair and the attention to detail. I've seen so many different families with so many different racial backgrounds all relating to the characters of this film. Such a step up for Disney!
Fun fact Mirabel is voiced by Stephanie Beatrix who plays Rosa Diaz on Brooklyn 99. She was brought in to audition for Lusia but after the casting people met her and got to see how different she is from Rosa they cast her as Mirabel. Stephanie is an amazing actor.
I think the best song is dos oruguitas the is just perfect and beautiful it just makes you start to get misty eye. Plus colossus has been singing we don’t talk about Bruno 24/7!!
Hope John comes back soon sending support.
One doesn’t experience self transcendence, the illusion of self only dissipates🎈
There’s a lot of theories as to why Mirabel didn’t get a gift. But the one that makes the most sense is this:
The casita is the embodiment of the spirit of Pedro, Alma’s husband. And he gave each Madrigal member a specific gift to protect themselves & others around them. A lot of people think Dolores has super hearing so in case the valley got attacked by the conquistadores, Dolores could hear them coming. Luisa could fight off armies, Julieta could heal any injured villagers, Bruno could see them coming in the future, Pepa could basically flood them, Isabella unlocking her plant growing potential could grow more crops if the Cons burnt them down. But because Alma lost sight of what the miracle was for, Pedro needed someone to basically be a voice for him to relay the message of the fading magic. Overall, Alma was the key to restoring the magic because the family wasn’t “healed” until Alma returned to the river where Pedro died. Even the images on there doors was foreshadowing how old each Madrigal would be when the house fell.
What about Antonio's powers?
@@janicespivery333 He essentially has his own spy network that can relay messages or cause chaos at a moments notice should the cons catch on to Dolores' abilities. He could also cause the cons horses to rebel, forcing them all on foot.
conquistadores? this movie is definitely not set in that era lol
One of the best Disney movies of recent years!
Definitely. I kind love it more than Coco. And that movie was beautiful too.
I cry every time I watch this movie. It’s my favorite and wished that movies in my childhood had substance like this movie had. It’s a beautiful story.
I positively loved Encanto even though it worked all of my feels, joy, sadness, anger/frustration and of course, laughter. Coming to terms with who we are, finding peace there, can definitely be an interesting and varied journey for us all. Loved this gem of a film from Lin Manuel Miranda.

Having grown up in Texas and having a decent knowledge of basic Spanish the song "dos origitas" hits super hard. If you look up the translation it's still really good but to understand the lyrics during the scene when it plays just makes you cry.
I have a theory. Mirabel's gift is the understanding and empathy that holds the family together. That's why she never got her own room. Because her place is in the main house, helping the family. And she should be respected for it. :-)
The scene where little Mirabel looks up at her Abuela when the door fades BREAKS me. Like "What did I do?" I watch this at least once a week.
The Dos Oruguitas scene never fails to make me cry like a baby
I cried so hard during Surface Pressure that I had to walk away for a bit and come back. That hasn’t happened to me with a movie in ages. Encanto is brilliant.
As some who is Hispanic seeing this movie in theaters twice and got a LOT of people to watch it, really hit close to home. Knowing the accurate representation on the big screen, just really hit me hard and the message and music is AMAZING, loved it and will never get tired of it
I love that Mirabel has glasses and curly hair. Small minor details but differentiate her from the traditional princess type.
@@80sCanadian you’re on to something
actually that movie has a great message. doesn't matter how related a family is by blood. they're differentwith their own insecurities and fights. we need to remember that and encourage every member to be greater and the olders to recover their path.
I know that it's a couple of years after you posted this video but i wanted to tell you i really liked your reaction. It feels very natural, like you truly are watching it for the first time and you let your emotions come out as the movie moves along. I was born in Colombia a long time ago. This movie has a special place in my heart and I enjoyed the take you have on it. Cheers!
If you didn't know, Mirabelle is voiced by Rosa from Brooklyn 99
We Don’t Talk About Bruno is my favorite song. This movie gave me all the feels.
I cry so much every time I watch this movie. During Dos Oruguitas, I sobbed so much I could barely breathe. It's a beautiful movie. I've watched it MANY times.
I love how Greg giggles so much.
One of my favorite things is how the house, with its last dying energy, saves Mirabel’s life. It’s that moment that truly sells the casita as a living character and it almost made me cry.
I need to admit this one, I cried a lot with Encanto.
I swear i've seen so many reactions to the movie and the songs, and I never get to not cry
The idea is definitely that she's the heir to the Miracle itself, because she sees the family and not just the magic/safety. It's just so good, and between Dos Oruguitas (best song) and the sister's embracing Bruno upon his return I just can't ever stop the tears. But, NEAT FACT (which you might have noticed but it was edited out): during We Don't Talk About Bruno, during Dolores' (super hearing) part (where she is DEFINITELY HINTING (do you understand!?) that she can hear Bruno), you can see Bruno behind her up on the balcony creeping around and even vibing to the music.
The actress who plays Rosa in Brooklyn Nine Nine voices Mirabel
I'm surprised yall didnt cry at Surface Pressure, as the oldest sibling, the first time I heard that song in the movie I balled my eyes out like you did with Waiting on a Miracle lol but I guess the lyrics hits different for us eldest.
I think "Surface Pressure" is my favorite Disney song ever. I really like this movie, but I particularly like that the plot can be completely summed up by saying, "A girl has several conversations with her family".
The following is half confirmed/partly widely theorized/ and all my personal head-canon.
Abuela didn't have a Magical power. She was however, given a gift. The Encanto. She received it when Abuelo Pedro gave his life to protect his wife and children. In that moment Abuela became the "candleholder" or others use the name "Miracle Holder." She was the one to keep the family and, even more so the town together. Eventually when the family got bigger and more complicated, the "foundation" the Encanto was built on grew unstable. Because Abuela was always from the very beginning full of greif for her husband, and fear that she may lose her home and/or family members again. Her fear was amplified more and more by Bruno's constant visions of the future. Until finally, Bruno had the vision of Mirabel. I don't think Abuela saw the vision judging by her reaction when Mirabel found it. Bruno disappeared. This upset Abuela much deeper than the other fsmily members. This was her son. She felt like she had lost another family member.
My theory and personal head-canon is that Casita, is Pedro's spirit incarnate. And the candle was in Pedro's lantern when he gave himself up. That's the item that was enchanted. Pedro's spirit in Casita (to be referred to as Casita from this point on) could tell that the magic was fading LONG before the family members even noticed. That's why Mirabel wasn't given a gift. Because she would be the next "Miracle Holder" after Abuela, because without a magical power she'd be able to investigate the familily's issues more closely and more determinedly. But it goes deeper than that.
Notice at the end of the movie, the candle doesn't come back. They don't show you the candle. Well, do you think any of the family members could've put that doorknob on and gotten the magic back? No. Only Mirabel. Why? Because Casita used Mirabel's door when she turned 5 to imbue her with just enough of the candle's magic, so that when the candle inevitability went out and the house fell, the Encanto, the mountains that sprung up to encase the town, would stay intact. And if Mirabel had led the family down the right path, the magic could be restored without the need for a candle. And eventually another kid in the Madrigal family will watch their door disappear and they won't be sad. They will know that that means they are the next "Miracle Holder."
BOOM!!!!!!
If you have any questions please reply. I know I've left some stuff out.
I love this movie because I saw the A cappella group Voiceplay sing their cover of "We Don't Talk About Bruno". Nice reaction, y'all Take Care & God Bless.
It’s like abuela said, Abuela asked Pedro for help and he sent Mirabel to help her see many of the cracks happening and to acknowledge them so that they can work on them together🥺. That’s why she’s the center too because she’s an important Pilar of the family too.
I like how with some of the visions it was stuff that would inevitably happen but it gets complicated when Delores and Isabella sung their parts in “we don’t talk about Bruno”; Isabella was told she’d get the life she wanted, while Delores was told her love would be with someone else. Isabella didn’t want a life with that man, that was Delores’s love. If it all went one way in life then one of their lines wouldn’t have been a thing, either Isabella would’ve gotten the life she wanted(this time line) or Delores would’ve been heart broken (another time line). Bruno was getting undecided fates before seeing the vision about Mirabel.
Did you notice how in the introduction Song, Famila Madrigal, not a single word was said about who those people are or what they're like? It's all about what they can do.
For me being the oldest in the family, Luisa's song just hits home hard
Mirabel already had a gift this whole movie because she is just like her grandmother. Her gift is miracle
Composed by Lin-Manuel Maranda starring Maribel who is the only member of her family who has no gifts among them whatsoever
Oh no… Greg is already crying at the celebration 😭 I’m pretty sure he’ll be broken by the end of the film 😖 but the movie is still AMAZING!!
I’m not sobbing- you are! Disney just keeps topping itself with music and story and animation time and time again. Screw romance- let’s keep on with outcasts being more important than anyone thinks.
I'm 44 yrs old and I absolutely loved this movie. Everything about it was fun, creative, and catchy. Thanks for checking this one out!!
Already crying at the 2nd song your not gonna survive at the end
It's awesome how the Madrigal house sent a signal to the animals alerting them of Antonio's new power.
I've watched different reactors reacting to Encanto and I've always come back to yours more than I can count. Lauren's reaction is so authentic and I get emotional just watching her. A lot of people like Coco and I think that is a good movie but this one is amazing. This movie is very relatable. Lin-Manuel Miranda said it best, it is about how simple family is and how complicated it is. This was by far one of the best reactions I've seen.
Look this up "‘Encanto’ Made History As First Disney Animated Movie To Feature All Hair Textures, From 1A to 4C " It's crazy the hair technology and animation used in this movie.
It's funny that you mention how you can relate on some level as a Filipino.
As a fellow Filipino, stories of brown families (Encanto and Coco come to mind) always get to me.
I always wonder what was going on in Alma's mind as her grandchildren risked their lives for their magic when the house fell apart, especially with Mirabel almost being crushed. I wonder if she realized she was wrong
The mass sobbing really is appreciated guys, thanks for the reaction! 💛
You clued in that this was written by LMM at the exact same time I did when I first watched this. That "Pressure like a drip drip drip" It is just so solidly in his cadence that you just know it.
The way you could hear Lin Manuel in 'Surface Pressure' 💗, He wrote all of the songs for this movie, he's such a talent.
