Always a messy job. I usually use the palm of my hand to push the grease into the bearing. Lots of ways to get the job done. Thanks for the informative video.

Ford started using the tapered Timken roller bearings in 1919. As far as I know, Timken still makes them.
It appears you are missing the washer that goes between the bearing and the nut, or at least I never saw you remove it or replace it.
If the bearing is in correctly the tire should come to a stop with the valve at the bottom.
Why would the valve stop at the top ,,,, if the bearing is installed correctly frist time I heard this???
