As a truck driver, I've pulled all kinds of trailers. From 53 ft all the way down to 8 ft utilities. This is by far the absolute best looking and looks like it functions extremely well and looks very sturdy also. Would love to buy one of these at some point. Finally a smaller trailer that wont beat the absolute living hell out of whatever your hauling
Thanks Nick, yes they do run smoothly as the airbag are the suspension as well as the lifting mechanism, we are working on a design for a two-wheel version that could be used for motorcycles and golf carts etc.
@Landrover Series Chassis and Airbag trailers pretty exciting inmy opinion. Looks sweet.
@@ultimatemanshed put some flow valves on the air lines. You can smooth it out nicely that way. I’m looking for a new job by the way 😉🇺🇸
Hope you can play around with one, one day. I think it's cool. I like truckers, they are cool.
What was the main decking material called ?
Never seen anything like this. All I can say is it is a BADASS trailer. Kudos to the designer.
Pretty ingenious. I would think that a protective cover over the air bags would be a good idea. Keep them from UV exposure and degradation as well as random acts of vandalism.
The Airbags are UV coated and there used to be a hidden shotgun triggered by tossers approaching the airbags with sharp objects. We had to remove it as a lot of people got injured
@@ultimatemanshed lmao
I would imagine if charged the airbags will be self defending, lots of pressure in those bad boys!
Can you ship to the us? What’s the best email to email you?
Should they also add protective cover to the tire? You jocking right??
Wow. Perfect trailer for a Racecar. Best looking trailer by far...
Saw a somewhat different design a few years ago at a truck stop in Indiana. It was getting delivered to a customer as well but the driver was more than thrilled to show it off. It was hydraulic and it was a 24ft setup with a large wind screen upfront to protect against rocks and debris. Soo cool I wish I had one
Thanks a serious cool piece of engineering. Very clever design and build.
Excellent engineering, the only thing I would add is a mechanical locking mechanism for the airbag hinges. I'm sure they are tough, but just for peace of mind in case one blows.
so, the problem here is if a bag does blow, and we have never had one blow in four years with hard use and very adverse conditions :-) even if you lock the wheel down so that it’s on the ground in a fixed position you still have a leak out of the bag, and as a result, the entire side will drop, so the solution is to simply have taps on each of the feeders to the airbags, and that particular tap can be switched off that being the case, the wheel can simply stay in the down position and follow along where ever the trailer goes so, locking the wheel in any position, if a bag should get a hole in, it doesn’t solve the problem of the air escaping from the system, for that, we need a different solution and it simply means having a valve that can be switched off after the Airbag entry point, and we already have these on some trailers
This would be awesome for a travel trailer. Easy leveling at the site instead of having to block one side or the other
That’s a great idea!
It would be a bit overkill, added maintenance and failure points for a travel trailer that it doesn't need since the overall weight really isn't ever changing. Just simple electric jacks would and do work fine.
Not really, airbags are bouncy
@@kylewright8512 That's why shocks are there as well. Some of the most confortable cars out there used airbags as well.
I really like the ability to walk over and see where it's dropping and that you can compensate for surfaces out of level.
When the trailer lowered.... "ok, that's one of the coolest things I've ever seen"
Man what I wouldn't give to have a huge deck like yours.
I nicknamed mine “woody”! Lol
@@sen74diehard Drink more milk :-)
Trim the bushes around it before you park it and it'll look bigger.
@@Crazson34 Also get fluorescent paint, things look bigger when they glow in the dark
This is brilliant!!! Every supermarket owner needs one of these. I love it
Never lose the attitude you put on display at the end of the video: put repairability and longevity first, even if that means selling fewer trailers than your competition. *That* is how you build a base of loyal customers, and gain a reputation for integrity.
Thanks, don't forget we have plenty of other videos in this series which you can see by visiting our channel and yes we will always try to do better and build more resilience and qaulity in to each trailer.
This is engineering at its finest!
I built petroleum trailers for several years. My job was installing various brackets, cabinets, air and electrical. I see some cool things on that and there's a lot more options y'all can expand. Very, very neat product.
Thanks you, any suggestions eagerly accepted.
I'll email you.
That trailer is so beautiful and clever, it almost feels wrong to use it. Damn fine work!
Great Design...Best part is "recommend steel frame so anybody can repair it" !
Great point!
Best design I've ever seen
I want one, I don't even have nothing to put on it.
Get one and the car will come to you
the engineering and build on this are incredible.
Love this design! Would make loading a lowered vehicle a snap! Would love to be a dealer here in the U.S. Awesome build! Some of these comments blows my mind!
I love the comments, I really love the dumb comments, and I'm going to dedicate a video especially to honor those people.. watch this space.. make sure you subscribe so you don't miss it. :-) lol
I love all the comments from people who can neither spell psi, nor accurately describe its meaning.
and I love all the comments from people who have plenty to say about what if this happens or that happens in etc etc etc but have no suggestions and to how those things might be addressed. Pretty much like anything mechanical, something to will break one day, the trick is to design so that it is easy and cheap to repair, we have tried to do that.
I have one client who carries a spare airbag, spare compressor and tools, never used them yet in 3 years and he carries a large tractor that on average loads about 3 times everyday 4 days a week.
@@ultimatemanshed how are airbags ( in general ) good about leak down? Do you need to have compressor power all the time if your load is static for a while, and you're using the bags for leveling? I plan to have a mechanical foot system for long term off the ground storage, and wouldn't want the chassis sitting on the ground for long periods of time.
Thanks!
@@paradoxworkshop4659 The airbags themselves should not leak at all. All the leaks we have encountered occur at the connections. If we have a leak down over time and this does occur it's always a tube or connector. There are a good products available for these joints which will eliminate then.
There is no reason other than your use case that would be harmful to have the chassis sitting on the ground for long periods. a lot of our clients do that and remove the batter key, which prevents theft.

That is absolutely the best trailer I have ever seen. This looks very well made
Thanks.
Never seen a setup quite like that. Very cool.
This is hands Down the cleanest and most ingenious design ive seen
Brilliant concept idea and how you guys went about Capturing all the particular design went on to make yours, as a fellow student in mechanical... there's always room for improvement to capture consumer's confidence and Ultimately targeted bottom line if you will, but I applaud you for focus venture.
Fine piece of equipment.
That’s pretty neat ! Very smart and practical , air pressure and just the sheer power of air pressure itself is limitless ! Great idea . Some one should build something like for a moving van or service , it would help and make loading furniture easy ! Thank you for the video
Glad you liked it!
Coolest car trailer I've ever seen 🤯👍👍
Amazing for all the new multi million dollar hyper cars
and if you happen to have two hypercars, we can offer two colours so your butler doesn't get confused
That's genius! Nice work!
Fantastic trailer, great job. What an impressively quick set up.
Thank you very much!
Sheer genius! Bravo!👏👏👏👏
Very interesting regarding the ability to equal out the load by adjusting the height per side. Nice feature.
Glad you liked it!
That's a hell of a nice rig you've got there. I like the warranty and the fact that you want to know what failed (if something does).
Great, Glad you liked it, yes if we don't know what has failed, how on earth will we fix it for the future. The only real failures we have had to-date are the mudguards used to break. However we have fixed them using stronger fixings and now also use 4mm propellor plate for the guards
@@ultimatemanshed That's awesome. I wish more companies took pride it their products like that.
Amazing idea for a trailer! Just wow great job for the super car industry!!
Incredible trailer! Cheers from the USA!
You should try to sell them to local municipalities, let them know that they would be very good for impounding low ground clearance cars.
That is a nice set up👍
That's a hell of a trailer , mighty fine work
thanks
That’s pretty cool, 1st time I’ve seen one of these.
I wish it was available in Iowa
I'd like to take that and put a dump bed on it so that it's not so ungodly high off the ground like my other dump trailer
Thanks for showing that it's got me thinking
Absolutely brilliant and beautiful!
Thank you! Cheers!
First time I see airbags mounted on a car trailer like this, interesting concept.
I drive a Scania straight truck with airbags on the rear axles, definitely the comfiest truck I've ever driven, I wonder how great this airbag trailer drives.
Thank you for your comment! Airbag suspension systems are becoming increasingly popular in a wide range of vehicles, including trailers, trucks, and passenger cars. The use of airbags in trailer suspension setups offers a number of advantages over traditional spring-based suspensions, including smoother ride quality, better load distribution, and improved stability.
In terms of driving performance, airbag suspension trailers are known for their smooth and stable ride, even on rough or uneven roads. The use of airbags allows for greater control over the suspension, with adjustments made in response to changes in load distribution, road conditions, and driving dynamics. This results in improved handling and stability, particularly when cornering or navigating tight spaces. In other words you can't even feel the trailer following even a light towing vehicle :-)
we made one like this in welding class in high school memories!!!
Love this trailer, beautiful workmanship. 👍👍👍👌
Thanks. We do your best :-)
Nice design! The tail lamps even have good protection.
Thanks. yes we found taillight sdo get a hammering.. not now :-)
That is very cool and awesome! I want one right now!

Awesome trailer for hovercraft 👍👍
the first one we made was for a hovercraft :-)
Very cool, thanks for the demonstration!
Ted, I am putting together a new video in a few days with mush more detail on the suspension and control systems,, stand by...
I would love to own one of these!
This is nice for lowered racecars
Dude that is so cool that is awesome
Wow, what a neat concept!
We thought so, thanks
Damn you can hit the 3 wheel motion on a trailer now 😎
Sweet trailer
This is awesome!
Phenomenal trailer
electric Volvo semi trucks have a similar construction for lifting and lowering their tag axles in regards to the airbag position.
That Sir! Is awesome! Greetings from the UK
Greetings back you up there; I started in the UK in surrey and owned Sienna Lamborghini Kits cars and the Noble P4. those were the days :-)
Amazing. What a great idea!
Thank you! Cheers!
I would put my little car on the trailer and do a video making my car jump n pretend I got hydraulics on the car lol
Beautiful, in very many ways. 🇺🇸
We agree!
Looking at the thumbnail, I wondered if you could overfill it to get more ground clearance. Did not expect you to drop it to the ground, that's cool.
thanks, yes you can lift the bags to max and not damage them as they have a burst rating way over our operating pressure.. once over the obstruction, you can use the cab remote controller to loser the trailer back down to a good ride height for hyway towing. :-) nice trick eh
Definitely going to build one of these at some point
Well, you are in luck. We are just about to launch an online 8-week build course for Airbag trailers, including plans, parts and suppliers. If you subscribe and push that little bell button, you will be notified when the eh course is up and running.
Simply superb. 👍👍
Thanks a lot 😊
Great trailer, it would be very handy. Only thing that troubles me is that the ramp corners would be hell on my shins!
its ok, we have you covered. Every trailer comes with an EBAY discount card for Shoe Heaven and they stock a nice line in bright Red high heeled thigh boots with frontal impact inserts suitable for stage and trailers.

A very nice trailer.

Lol I have been trying to think of the best way to build a trailer just like this for a while.
copy this one,
this is really interesting, I want to put this on my camper as I want to make my truck taller and have to lift the camper as well. Camper is a fifth wheel so I don't have a hitch option.
That's great thinking! This way, your camper can benefit from the same drop in stability as the truck that tows it.
@@1SqueakyWheel 🤣🤣🤣 this comment section is killing me
@@AquariumAficionado Same here. I love the trailer featured in the video. But you're right... the comment sections never fail us. ;-)
Oh my god this is something I dreamed of having ! This is absolutely amazing!!! Goodness gracious I would love to have this trailer this is Perfect!! I hope so too!
Seriously nice!!
Nice trailer
Airbags are not balloons guys, they are designed to withstand high pressure.
im definitely going to need one of these one day
The sun will destroy those air bags in a few years. They ought to be covered. Cool idea.
Thanks, however the airbags are treated and we have had soe in service for four years, none have deteriorated yet and if they do, well lets just replace them eh, they are cheap.:-)
Nice tool...simple and effective..
Simon a Brit in Spain 👍
Thanks 👍
Only thing i think i would work on is a mechanical valve and level sensor, this way you can have smoothness when you lift and when you lower. Also it wlil level itself while driving.
Hi Christian, I really appreciate your idea about using a level sensor for this application. However, I wanted to let you know that there could be a small issue with that approach. For the suspension system to work effectively, the chassis needs to be able to move around freely. If we installed a level sensor, it would pick up all sorts of movements, making it tricky to calibrate and causing some complexity.
Right now, we're setting the level by adjusting the ride height of the trailer when lifting stops, and it stays level until it's lowered again. This approach does keep the trailer level while it's traveling.
Thanks so much for your input! We're always looking for ways to improve our processes, so please keep the ideas coming!
Would an auto levelling function be useful, seeing as you can control each side independently? Would it be expensive? I had a quick look round for a suitable solenoid, but without knowing exactly what it would take, I would have been guessing.
Not a bad idea
