This was so beautiful! I loved every second of it. I love the Galaxy OST so much, I even hummed along with the tunes as they played throughout the video. I have loved this game ever since I got it, I can't even remember how long ago that was. Some of my favourite memories of this game were when I played a few levels, that i was struggling on, with my Uncle. I specifically remember one of the Freeze Flame Galaxy levels being one of them. I completed the game with a bit of his help on the final level. Once the cutscene of the Lumas being reborn happened, just before seeing Rosalina, my remote battery warning appeared and broke the silence, it made me and my Uncle laugh. I haven't played Galaxy in ages, I may play it again soon, just so I can relive the memories I had playing in the past. Im gonna say it once again, this was so beautiful and nice to listen to, I loved it so much. Im a week late, but I don't care. HAPPY 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO SUPER MARIO GALAXY! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I really hope we get an HD Mario galaxy bundle. They really were beautiful games. ( and maybe the music can be remastered with their spiffy, newly improved, orchestra.)
This medley is nothing short of gorgeous. The SMG soundtrack has to be one of my all-time favourites and you somehow made it even better. The only thing I would've added was maybe a transcription of the Gateway Galaxy theme. Overall, wonderful job!
Nothing makes a grown man cry like this OST. I love your versions of all of these songs from my intermediate childhood/teen years, really brings back fond memories.
This really did hit emotionally. Words are not needed, just the beautiful sound of this music makes me feel so much. The Galaxy games mean so much to me and I just adore this medley so much.
This game... even just the music... it makes me feel eternally small. You look into the night sky and before you lies a nearly endless plane in which nature caresses the stars and planets with her beauty. It pulls me in. It makes me want to leave planet Earth, find new life... or even just to drift off for eternity and enjoy the view. I don't care if you're not religious or anything, but something remarkable and astoundingly beautiful has been left here in this universe for us. An endless sea of worlds to explore. By who? I'm not the judge of that. But whatever this place is, it's the best gift anyone could ask for. This music makes me remember that. It makes me remember that while Earth is beautiful, there are places exponentially more so all around us. It reminds me that, amidst all the chaos and war on this tiny wet rock of a world, there's infinitely many miles and miles of nature untouched by man. To see all that... all of Mother Nature in her fullest... that is my lifelong dream. And this music is what sparked that want. Thank you so much for posting this. It's reignited a passion for the stars in a time when I've felt like I don't have purpose, or I don't have a place to go. But now I remember. The only place to go is up.
You honored the game's music in all it's ways! All themes were perfectly remade. The way you combined different themes like the battle rock and the bulb level themes (I know they match perfectly together, but still) and made the transitions between the hot and the cold part of Freezeflame Galaxy is just perfect. Together with the amazing camera work and these little sound effects like the Luma sound, you extended the nostalgia effect to the limit! Just great work :)
AJ... you are honestly *extremely* talented at making music. Your remixes always blow my mind on how great they improve upon the original. Seriously, brother I still do not get why you don't have much subscribers on your channel!! Please, never stop making remixes :)
I know this is 2 years ago.. but this mix has helped me so much.. I could never say thank you enough to the man that made this I was having a major panic attack before one of my plays in high school.. and I couldn’t even think straight.. I just wanted someone to talk to me and tell me everything was going to be okay.. and when I found this soundtrack I almost balled my eyes out Hearing all of the songs from a time that was so carefree and happy.. and the emotions of someone telling me that things where really going to be okay.. it helped more than someone could ever know To this day I still get nervous and scared.. but this playlist has helped in so many ways Thanks AJ, your a lifesaver
LogicalFool I froze in tears when Rosalina said "She's sleeping under the tree on the hill." Words can't really describe Galaxy and the storybook. You just need to experience it.
Absolutely impressive. You have managed to make a very sweet atmosphere. In addition, the selection of backgrounds is top notch, exactly what it needs to have a nice nap. I owe you all my respect for this medley of the best musics in this game.
why am i only discovering this now??? those are the best mario galaxy remixes ive ever heard, theyre so soft and have twice the amount of nostalgia in them, im gonna listen to this daily now
I first heard your memory remixes andI I loved them. Then I saw SM64 and Sunshine and then Galaxy. This is your best one yet in my opinion. Keep up the good work. Here’s a thing I’ll say: Keep calm and listen to the music.
I've been listening to this on repeat for the last few nights and I just have to say something. I don't know how you managed to turn an already stellar soundtrack into something even more magical. In particular, your rendition of Gusty Garden Galaxy truly gave me a listening experience I can't really describe, it was very emotional and I felt transported to another world. I've become a quick fan of your music thanks to this, and thank you for this magnificent playlist, I am sure I will continue to listen to it on repeat for a good while!
Super Mario Galaxy was the first Mario game I ever beat to 100% completion. I loved every second of it from the opening screen to Charles Martinet saying "Thank you so much for playing my game!" The beautiful soundtrack cna really set the mood of a stage. Whether it's the quiet loneliness of Space Junk Galaxy as you float along the Pull-star path or the intense yet epic remix of the airship or bowser stages as you dodge all of the obsticles. This game is my favorite of all of the Mario games and nothing would make me happier than to see it get remastered.
Space Junk Galaxy's theme never fails to hit me right in the feels.... I really think that this track off the Super Mario Galaxy OST really captures the quiet, blissful tranquility of space... yet still reminding the player it's shrouded in an air of mystery... truly thought-provoking..
Just - Plains I have such good memories with this game, I want to replay it so badly. I'm hopefully gonna get Galaxy second hand sometime so I can replay it. Hopefully you get to replay this awesome game sometime too!
Super Mario Galaxy’s has always been the best ever video game soundtrack. It always provided a sense of emotion, hopefulness, and how beautiful the story was. It wasn’t just any normal Mario saving Peach from Bowser premise and story, it was one special story that no other Mario game had. Mario always knew that he had that determination inside of himself to find and defeat Bowser and rescue his ‘special one’. But in this, he thought he wouldn’t be able to. His help from Rosalina with the help of Luma was definitely needed. Luma helped Mario in every way he can. But when he sacrificed himself along with all the other Lumas, Mario probably felt dead inside. But when he woke up in the Mushroom Kingdom, along with Peach and Bowser, he couldn’t have been more happier, despite losing a very special friend. Also, when Mario walked into the library and read Rosalina’s storybook, he must’ve been surprised, in a sort of emotional way because of how hard hitting it was. This game still goes on to being the best Super Mario game ever made, in my opinion. 9.5/10
I can't believe this game is almost 15 years old, and it is also the greatest game ever made in my opinion. Just everything about it was just crafted to perfection.
13:05 - When I was a seven, I listened this music and the next one with my grandma while playing. It reminds me these beautiful moments. Rest in peace, grandma.
The sound effect at 13:55 hurts. Sounds like the cries of a lost child, separated from their family. A child that- Just wants to go home. A child not fit to be lost to the endless expanses of space.
Omg I love this so much this brings so many tears in my eyes as I remember playing this game back in the day. Galaxy and 64 will remain one of my favorite Mario games because they have an amazing story. By the way do a separate video for Lumas theme as well as Rosalina comet Observatory and good egg Galaxy.
This is made with love and care, just like the ost itself, your work has made me tear up and, though not much in the grand scheme of things, made me realize the true power of what music is capable of. For this, I thank you.
How did I not hear or see this sooner!? This is my all time favorite Mario game so far, and to hear this medley was nothing short of amazing. Thank you for this!!
Honestly, i can't stop crying. This soundtrack is just my childhood. It just holds a special place in my heart. It means so much to me. I just cant explain the wonderful feeling. I remember coming home from school everyday and just playing the game for hours. Those were the best days! It will always give me a warm happy feeling whenever i think about it. It makes me so happy. Beautiful music for a beautiful game. ❤❤❤
not gonna lie the combination of the music and the different places explored like the little living spaces, to the galaxy's and much more are amazing. can't thank you enough for taking time out of your day to make this music, and convince me to take out my dusty wii in my attic. thanks
Dang, why am I tearing up? I never cry... The music is so GOOD! One of the reasons is because it sounds like something that would actually be in the game (The mario galaxy sfx soundfonts helped). Very good music!
Bro i don't care what people say its just a game. This was more then a game It was journey full of adventure and stories and ill always appreciate mario Galaxy 14 years later
The feeling of not being aware of what’s around you The mentality of, “Oh, it’s going to be fine” That all deteriorates with this The soothing yet bittersweet atmosphere of the whole medley gives off a, “hey, I know you didn’t put your 80% in, but you gotta start loving yourself more, OK?” Lately I haven’t been doing that due to squabbles among members of the yes-it’s-there But just hearing this all the way through made me realize that hey, I’m not an idiot- it’s just my deep struggles & tinted glasses that make me see myself the way I do I wish to better love myself so that I can not only accept the situations I’m in… But also for the times when my emotion is at its edge, and I’m just keeping it at bay through the use of video games that make myself feel like I’m in purgatory In a nutshell, Music transcended my soul; my well-being has never been so cracked before Until then, I wish I could’ve loved myself more Here’s to 2022 and my emotions
I LOVE Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 sooo much! Still play these games once in a while. One of the things that could fill my heart with joy is this beautiful music and the time Super Mario Galaxy 3 comes out.
I only just discovered this beautiful video recently, and I must say it was definitely one of the best experiences I had listening to music from Super Mario Galaxy. You have done an amazing job with this!
2020. Everything's going down with the pandemic. Despair, bad things and worries are in everybody's head. It's hard to not listen and see to this. Super Mario Galaxy is just... so perfect. Born on 2006, i don't know when i started playing, i was just one year old when this game dropped. But no worries. I earn a Wii, and with just 3 years old, in 2010, i was playing Super Mario Galaxy and it just hooked me to it. I didn't really complete the game of course, i didn't know much about completing the game, but i enjoyed it, with just 3 years old. In 2010 the second game dropped and i played it in maybe 2011, 2012 or 2013, great and perfect as always, with new mechanics and much more new things. This is why i love this game and i love the second part of it as well. The music is the best, who wrote this is just an incredible composer. The gameplay is really good too. You go on to those lumas kind of stars to fly to another places, get stars, and can get higher to go to the top. Every galaxy has it's own charm too, i really like the toy one galaxy, the sky box is so cool: It's a room! The planets places we visited are great as well. The bosses in this game are very creative, too. The background is sooo vast, cold and terryfying. It makes you an exhale. A moon suspended in to an gigantic planet, an imense vacuum of space with stars everywhere, a sky with so much clouds, the cosmos of space, a giant room, and so many more. The story is the same, but a little different. Rosalina takes the place for a moment for her story and how she got here, bowser's evil plan, etc. Those days, i've completed Super Mario Galaxy, with 121, looking forward to complete Super Mario Galaxy 2 as well! This game is soo good and the best games of my life. I wish i went back to those moments when i played those games because i was just happy with it! This game for me has an imense charm to it and i love it!!! Thanks Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, for making me like the music, for being part of my childhood, and everything else. Thanks for reading ;) And thank you, Mario!
Mahito Yokota and Koji Kondo did the soundtrack. Koji Kondo did Good Egg Galaxy and Comet Observatory 1-3 and Mahito Yokota did the rest of the soundtrack. (Mahito Yokota is one of my favorite game composers)
Really incredible editing, it’s so relaxing along with the music! This went straight to my favorites. I have faith that Nintendo will return to Super Mario Galaxy one day...maybe even on the Switch? It’s either that or Odyssey 2!

This.. This is absolutely lovely. Thank you for helping some old rose tinted nostalgia float to the surface of my mind. I may not be old by any substantial measure, but it’s hard not to feel like an aged man when wonder filled memories of years passed are dug up and uncovered like this.

Joshua Sweeney, I said the improved orchestra. It's fine as it is though.

I want to spend an afternoon at 22:15 ... the music and visuals are all put together so perfectly. It's beautiful.
AJ... you are honestly *extremely* talented at making music. Your remixes always blow my mind on how great they improve upon the original. Seriously, brother I still do not get why you don't have much subscribers on your channel!! Please, never stop making remixes :)
I know this is 2 years ago.. but this mix has helped me so much.. I could never say thank you enough to the man that made this
I was having a major panic attack before one of my plays in high school.. and I couldn’t even think straight.. I just wanted someone to talk to me and tell me everything was going to be okay.. and when I found this soundtrack I almost balled my eyes out
Hearing all of the songs from a time that was so carefree and happy.. and the emotions of someone telling me that things where really going to be okay.. it helped more than someone could ever know
To this day I still get nervous and scared.. but this playlist has helped in so many ways
Thanks AJ, your a lifesaver
That's great to hear man thank you

My Childhood, the first song to ever make me cry...
LogicalFool I froze in tears when Rosalina said "She's sleeping under the tree on the hill." Words can't really describe Galaxy and the storybook. You just need to experience it.
04:38 I didn't know white could be so beautiful
I'm Japanese. I'm glad to know foreigners love this game! I'm proud of Japanese!!
I'm sorry for the poor English🥺
I don’t really see a problem with your English plus I’ve heard it’s a hard language to learn.
Absolutely impressive. You have managed to make a very sweet atmosphere. In addition, the selection of backgrounds is top notch, exactly what it needs to have a nice nap. I owe you all my respect for this medley of the best musics in this game.
Sometimes I get really anxious, this music is one of the things that's guaranteed to help me relax and concentrate
Absolutely beautiful. Magnificent. Thank you.
why am i only discovering this now??? those are the best mario galaxy remixes ive ever heard, theyre so soft and have twice the amount of nostalgia in them, im gonna listen to this daily now
I first heard your memory remixes andI I loved them. Then I saw SM64 and Sunshine and then Galaxy. This is your best one yet in my opinion. Keep up the good work. Here’s a thing I’ll say: Keep calm and listen to the music.
I’ve been sleeping to this medley for god knows how long. Thank you for the sweet dreams of a more carefree time in my life.
This is absolutely incredible. This was my first 3D Mario game and probably still my favorite, if not it’s tied with Odyssey.
Hi.
I've come to declare this piece of art as still being a banger, even more than 4 years later.
Have a blessed day.
Mario Odyssey may be my new favourite game in the series but the music from Galaxy will always stay the best. Thank you for this beautiful medley!
I LOVE the backgrounds. It goes well with the soothing music. Great job! Thank you so much for posting this.
Mann, I wanna experience mario galaxy 1 again so much. It's been broken for a good long and the one I got with me is mario galaxy 2
I feel you... because I'm in the same situation...
Same. I sill have Galaxy 1 and 2, but my Galaxy 1 disc is really badly scratched :(
Nalo Nauts Wow, I would've never guessed that there's others with the same situation.:0 'Tis brutal, man
Just - Plains I have such good memories with this game, I want to replay it so badly. I'm hopefully gonna get Galaxy second hand sometime so I can replay it. Hopefully you get to replay this awesome game sometime too!
Nalo Nauts Dude I hope you too, man.:^)
I play this for my newborn, she calm down quickly to this. Wonderful music for both of us❤️
Super Mario Galaxy’s has always been the best ever video game soundtrack.
9.5/10
Super Mario Galaxy ranks up there with best video game soundtracks
This game is the pure definition of childhood magic
I can`t believe this game is 10 years old already! I`m feeling old. btw the best game of all time in my opinion
I can't believe this game is almost 15 years old, and it is also the greatest game ever made in my opinion. Just everything about it was just crafted to perfection.
0:00 The beginning sounds like Mario Galaxy fused with Breath of the Wild music/soundfont. Amazing.
This is beautiful!
The soundtracks are really amazing, but THIS, THIS is a MASTERPIECE! Keep up the absolutely STUNNING work!
5:04 YESSSS
13:05 - When I was a seven, I listened this music and the next one with my grandma while playing.
It reminds me these beautiful moments. Rest in peace, grandma.
It's ... .... ... beautiful! What can I say... you are a really good musician! Thank you so much for this!
Take the time to lay down, in a pitch black room, and just listen. My heart is filled with joy and nostalgia after doing so. Beautiful medley.
The sound effect at 13:55 hurts. Sounds like the cries of a lost child, separated from their family. A child that- Just wants to go home. A child not fit to be lost to the endless expanses of space.
INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! THIS WAS THE GAME OF MY CHILDHOOD!!!!! Thank you so much for creating this!!!! You just got a subscriber!!!!!!
This is 1000 times better than the original... hard to say, really.
oh my gosh this is SO good. i love that you were able to turn some songs that were more active into something i can relax to. you rock!
Also, Good egg galaxy, was my favorite galaxy in game! Listening that song again was so relaxing and nostalgic
Mario Galaxy will always live on in my heart. A true Nintendo Masterpiece
Goodbye 2000s and 2010s era, you'll be missed by many, but not forgotten
As a huge fan of the galaxy series its great to hear this
Thank you for making it
One of the most, if not THE MOST beautiful Mario Galaxy Covers I’ve heard in my life is this medley, right here. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
So soothing :Q
Dang, I can't believe I'm getting this 3 years later.. I'm glad I'm still here to experience it :) thank you
Omg this is just so beautiful :,)
I love this video. In 2020 I would love to see a SMG2 version of this for its 10 year anniversary
It took me two years until I found this. I wish I could have discovered it sooner. Amazing work.
This is made with love and care, just like the ost itself, your work has made me tear up and, though not much in the grand scheme of things, made me realize the true power of what music is capable of. For this, I thank you.
17:42 Wow that gave me chills it is so beautiful
How did I not hear or see this sooner!? This is my all time favorite Mario game so far, and to hear this medley was nothing short of amazing. Thank you for this!!
Honestly, i can't stop crying. This soundtrack is just my childhood. It just holds a special place in my heart. It means so much to me. I just cant explain the wonderful feeling. I remember coming home from school everyday and just playing the game for hours. Those were the best days! It will always give me a warm happy feeling whenever i think about it. It makes me so happy. Beautiful music for a beautiful game. ❤❤❤
I was like 95% asleep, then my sister walked in while this was playing. No regrets, great job on this, man!
This game was, and still is one of my top favorite games ever. I'm turning 19 soon, and it's so weird knowing this game is over a decade old.
I miss being 3... so many good memories with this game that I will never have again.
probably my favorite video of all time, thank you so, so much for uploading this. I always come back to it
not gonna lie the combination of the music and the different places explored like the little living spaces, to the galaxy's and much more are amazing. can't thank you enough for taking time out of your day to make this music, and convince me to take out my dusty wii in my attic. thanks
Dang, why am I tearing up? I never cry... The music is so GOOD! One of the reasons is because it sounds like something that would actually be in the game (The mario galaxy sfx soundfonts helped). Very good music!
This is soo fricken underrated man. You did an amazing job
Bro i don't care what people say its just a game.
This was more then a game
It was journey full of adventure and stories and ill always appreciate mario Galaxy 14 years later
The feeling of not being aware of what’s around you
The mentality of, “Oh, it’s going to be fine”
That all deteriorates with this
The soothing yet bittersweet atmosphere of the whole medley gives off a, “hey, I know you didn’t put your 80% in, but you gotta start loving yourself more, OK?”
Lately I haven’t been doing that due to squabbles among members of the yes-it’s-there
But just hearing this all the way through made me realize that hey, I’m not an idiot- it’s just my deep struggles & tinted glasses that make me see myself the way I do
I wish to better love myself so that I can not only accept the situations I’m in…
But also for the times when my emotion is at its edge, and I’m just keeping it at bay through the use of video games that make myself feel like I’m in purgatory
In a nutshell, Music transcended my soul; my well-being has never been so cracked before
Until then, I wish I could’ve loved myself more
Here’s to 2022 and my emotions
13:55 that reverbed luma sound really touches.
Very good, thanks for making this bro.
This is amazing piano work!
AAAAAA ITS TOO BEAUTIFUL
*Extreme nostalgia and peace causes my brain to overload and sleep*
I have never heard anything so wonderful in my life... 🥺❤️
I need the part of Good Egg Galaxy! Beautiful!
Thanks for returning my childhood to me!
Thanks for reading ;)
And thank you, Mario!
Mahito Yokota and Koji Kondo did the soundtrack. Koji Kondo did Good Egg Galaxy and Comet Observatory 1-3 and Mahito Yokota did the rest of the soundtrack. (Mahito Yokota is one of my favorite game composers)
I read this while listening to Luma. Tears were shed.
Really incredible editing, it’s so relaxing along with the music! This went straight to my favorites. I have faith that Nintendo will return to Super Mario Galaxy one day...maybe even on the Switch? It’s either that or Odyssey 2!
"The girls sadness" kinda sounds like it'd be in a depressing anime lol...i love these tracks so much...i hope to play mario galaxy one day soon. i have it after all.
You did amazing replicating the music!!!!
Galaxy was the peak of the series.
This..
This is absolutely lovely.
Thank you for helping some old rose tinted nostalgia float to the surface of my mind.
I may not be old by any substantial measure, but it’s hard not to feel like an aged man when wonder filled memories of years passed are dug up and uncovered like this.
