I never played mario, never had a nintendo console in first place, but this soundtrack makes me wish I had, I can´t imagine how magical It must feel to explore the galaxy with mario hearing this, feeling like you are going on the adventure of your life and years later coming back to remember those golden memories,, it must be a rlly nice feeling, It already makes me feel things and like I said I didn´t even played a mario game in my life, nintendo music department surely knows how to make soundtracks
I grew up playing nintendo and listening to old soundtracks allways makes me happy. Its very nostalgic and as a kid youre never aware of how special these games truly were.
I started playing Galaxy during middle school, I think, and as I was still learning English words (transferred from Japan to USA), I was very timid of hanging out with friends since I was once bullied for my illiteracy in Japan. I was lonely, but not when exploring the galaxy and on a quest to travel across the barren stars to collect shiny stars and empower Princess Rosalina who would save the world from the threats of King Kupa (King Bowser). That comfort of game stuck onto the soundtrack and here I am a decade and a half later still able to reminisce.
