A similar accident happened to me. The scariest experience of my life. I collected blood from an HIV patient and the used needle mistakenly fell. Pricked my leg. I was rapidly placed on antiviral drugs for 2 months. did the HIV test again after that and thank God it was negative. 3 months, 6 months, a year after that successively, I'm still negative. I thank God everyday. Health workers are constantly at risk of being infected by the patients..
