If you want raw pork chops for trading with butchers you can use soul campfires to kill the hoglins instead. Hoppers can pick up items through the soul campfires so it’s an easy swap

A billion iron an hour sounds great but, I only have two hands to craft it all anyway. So, much appreciated that you've cut down on the usual "efficiency is all" rhetoric in favor of "gets the job done".
Slight addition, you can consider placing fences (ideally nether brick) above the mushrooms. Sometimes if the hoglins spawn directly on the mushrooms they can get confused and stand still instead of pathing away. The fences prevent this
Personally speaking, when it comes to storage, I like to use a zig-zag pattern. It's a bit more tedious to build, especially when placing all the hoppers, but I like how to automatically refills the bottom chest as you take stuff out. Usually most helpful with auto-sorting, but with only pork chops and leather to deal with, I don't see it being that big a deal.
Ender man farms are pretty dang good for not that much effort. For an early-mid game farm it’s quite fast for most people’s needs. Gold farms are faster but a lot more effort, but ender man farms are in no way slow

For these farms that drops more than 1 item, would be cool an auto-sorter system. Just for those who want to improve the farm a little bit.
I suggest Ilmango or ShulkerCraft, but the simple run down is you have a 'hopper locker' which consists of a redstone torch, a repeater, and a comparator. The hopper's last 4 slots are filled with an item that you WILL NOT be using or will ever be in the storage system for sake of convenience. Then 41 of an item (that you want to sort) goes in the first slot of the hopper. Thats a simple run-down of how it works I know reading this prolly didnt help all that much but I just wanted to point out how little resources is required :)
If you build enough layers like me, the hoglins will die by fall damage and you won't get the cooked porchops. This can be fixed by adding a layer of powdered snow at the bottom to stop fall damage, it also helps kill them faster. :)

Great farm!!!! Made a little tweak by adding hopper minecarts in the soul sand to pick up all the drops. The farm averages about 10 hoglins at all time with up to 25 at a time! a 10 min test got me 15.5 stacks of cooked pork and about 2.5 stacks of leather. A single layer is enough to feed my server for good with just a few AFK sessions! GG logic keep up the amazing work! 1.18.2 Fabric server for anyone who was wondering.
I was having an issue with the leather drops getting burned, so I swapped the soul sand for campfires. It doesn't cook the food, but I made the farm for leather so this helped out a lot.
I was having an issue with the block height limit on the ceiling of the Nether. I can't place anything there because the y-coordinate is 128. How did you manage to build your farm on top of the Nether?
Started a world the other week and these hoglin farms are an early game god send. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with the annoyance of holding a crap ton of cows in one area to begin with, it can be annoying. Plus, I've paired one of these farms with a cured Villager and get one emerald per 1 book, so this thing continues to pay off in spades. I recommend it to anybody in an early world (heck, the infinite leather is actually extremely useful late game as well.)

Ok this farm is crazy and still works after 30 seconds of building the afk platform i went down to make sure i put the afk platform in the right spot and already had a stack of pork chops
A fun (and admittedly silly) thing I like doing when I build spawning platforms for mobs that don't care about light level, is using jack o'lanterns. They are a light emitting block (just as if you placed a torch on top) but they are also a spawnable full solid block. However, I admit creating carved pumpkins is quite tedious unless you build yourself a redstone contraption similar to a concrete converter.
this was actually a great help cause me and my friends just relied on like 3 cow farms we just started playing minecraft so our knowledge of the game is still limited

Hi there, he is using two mods. The one with the sphere is called minihud, the one with the material list is called lightmatica They are both mods created by a minecrafter called Masa. I built this today and the items were getting destroyed on the soul sand fires, and even without the fire items were not getting pulled into my hoppers. I re-did it with campfires, which works except it doesn't cook the meat for you. Not a big deal, I just popped them in my super smelter. Funny thing is this farm took about an hour to build, and about half an hour of afk and I got more meat and leather than in 6 months of playing. (Almost a double chest full with only 1 level of farm). This thing is nuts!
So basically I made 10 layers of this farm and o my goodness this is spitting out cooked porkchop like crazy afk this for 5 minutes and you are good to go for the few days XD
I used to think a good carrot farm was a good sustainable food source, after building this my carrot farm basically turned into a useless plot of land, good lord I’m averaging 6 stacks of meat per 5 minutes with this hoglin farm and it only took me about 30 minutes worth of building to make sure that I did everything correctly, I don’t know why this build doesn’t have more attention to all minecraft players, basically infinite food.
@@Albutt0 no, just cover the monument with soul sand then they will float to the top and add a water stream flowing towards a nether portal and add a killing chamber.
@@ItsMutant the lag will be absolutely insane. Maybe not even runnable unless u got an beastly computer. The area that they spawn in is huge. Your gonna need multiple water streams for it to all go to a nether portal. Good idea. Not good for actually making it
Slight speed upgrade: build the layers 30 blocks below the afk spot and have lava with signs below instead of soulfire with soulsand below, keep the collection down on the bedrock to let the hoglins fall and die of fall damage while burning from the lava, this will free up the mobcap quicker since they die faster
i prefer use lava to kill since the item will brun if i use the soul fire (version is 1.18) just put trapdoor to cover hopper and put lava on it Sign not recommended because the baby hoglin won’t brunt
You can use dirt instead of nylium. It's easier to collect

you wont use fire for this so you could use a trident blender to kill them if you hold a looting sword it effects the drops

This is the most easiest yet effective farm i've ever seen. Still working in 1.18.2

look up shulkercraft guardian farm it's insane i built one in my survival world
No such thing. Your gonna need to drain the entire ocean. Unless you use the new path finding that guardians have. But it’s significantly slower

If you don't have a lot of glass leaves work fine and you'll need a lot of wood for the chests, hoppers and trapdoors anyway :)
