Such a wise man. His advice can certainly touch bases with more than acting. You should always have a plan. Sometimes you can get sidetracked, or unexpectedly fired.. you should still have a plan. Not everyone does. Not everyone is resilient. Not everyone will last.

0:29 Such a funny facial expression! - lips to side and raised eyebrows.
I don't even know how we evolved it, and yet makes perfect sense to me. :)

Allan Gildea Allan, thanks. Mr. Duke is a sage. We feel fortunate that we had the opportunity to spend a little time with him. And that we get to share his insights with whoever is drawn to them.

Allan Gildea Hi Allan, we're humbled by your offer. Right now, we are laying low from press opportunities. Though if it is something written, that may be a possibility.

Anyone know what his necklace means?

It's African in origin. The motif derives from a people called the Tuareg. Go Google African Tuareg jewelry or Berber/Tuareg Crosses.

S Miles Which part of filmmaking interests you?

Film Courage Screenwriting. I wonder how a writer's background informs his or her screenplay (i.e. genre, plot, theme, point of view). For instance, black directors were responsible for writing more culturally diverse offerings such as Fruitvale Station and 12 Years A Slave; then, female authors have been responsible for writing some of the most spellbindingly complex fantasy offerings such as Harry Potter, Twilight, The Hunger Games, and Divergent. I hope that the film industry becomes more diverse over time, and that authors would find film as a medium for more interactive consumption.
