Both people need to keep in regular communication with each other as to how they are feeling, their emotions etc. Gotta be open and vulnerable and build that trust with one another and be very honest about how you're feeling and what scares you etc.
I don't "think" I'm falling. I always knew, I tried concealing my feelings since our friendship is my priority and the safest zone between the two of us.
