Guys I'm going to tell you what I did, I downloaded Samsung drivers for phone latest version 1.17. at the moment, downloaded Odin (1.14 latest version at the moment) the connected my phone Samsung galaxy s6 edge on, my PC recognize it and at device manager I could see the drivers for my phone, then I disconnected my phone and put it on download mode ( volume down+ home button+ turn on button) then open Odin and connected my phone, worked perfectly this way, hope someone find this comment useful.

I already downloaded and installed Samsung drivers, and windows is able to detect the phone but cannot recognize it thus cannot communicate with it. And my phone is essentially bricked because I might have deleted some important files while it was rooted.

This worked, thanks! Connect the device while it is working normally, windows detected it, disconnected cable, rebooted to download screen, connected cable again and Odin detected it

Thank you very much, I got it to connect to my P.C. after a few days trying everything. my problem was the stupi....d cheap cables I was using , I try a different one and that one worked, I guess the other cables don't have the data cables or something , i hope this help others, good luck.

Go to develoler setting and turn on USB DEBUGGING
Then Change USB Debugging setting/option to PTP - Picture Transfer Protocol or in MTP- Media Transfer Protocol..
