Bad boiler design contest- Worcester Bosch Greenstar CDi

Very Reliable boiler .
One of the best diverter valves . Also the following positions are achieved in the worst category; ;
1. One of the worst boiler casing which will screwi you up .
2. Probably the worst pcb casing with holes to accomadate water spray from the drain point / other repair work or from a pin hole leak of the plastic hydraulic block
3. worst pressure release valve location runner up position with 3rd place to Vissmann Vitodens
4. The first place for the most dangerously placed sharp screw sticking out to catch any hands sharp enough ( self tapping screw )
To cause damage to anyone who will try to repair it.
Works every time..
5. Ohh I forgot , the condensate trap is slightly better than Ideal boilers .

We have a valiant combi 30 boiler that is making a tapping/knocking sound. The housing association are adamant that it’s normal but we know it’s not😢 do you know what could be causing it?

Worcester boilers went down hill at rapid speed a long long time ago , I wouldn't touch one anymore because of the crap design and crap components used and if you are unfortunate enough to have to work on one that is more than 5 years old and need to switch off the power to it
keep your fingers crossed that it will come back on again when your finished because most of the time they don't , Keep clear of them....👍

Erm that’s not a cdi. Maybe get the boiler correct your working on 🤣🤣😂😂

A read shit appliance.
It means taking out the whole guts to get to the safety valve.
I have a lifetime ban on these boilers.
Give me a Baxi anytime.
