I just tried the new update and I love it. I tried a night time map and got a RPG passing right by me as soon as I opened a door to get on a balcony. It was scary and the gunfight that followed was intense and crazy ! This is the type of games that creates memorable moments, the ones that a gamer will keep for ever.
Great video! Really fun to watch you try out the update. I love this game but my friends are hit or miss about hopping into matches with me, so it's dope to have the AI squad. The shooting and sound is so good.
I really like the realism and immersion they are going for and the updates they keep working towards. There are many people out there that complain about the gameplay because they compare it to arcade style games like CoD; that’s their problem.
This looks amazing, but what also blew me away was the environmental impact on audio, especially the team comms. In my not exhaustive experience, I’m not aware of any other game switching voice between proximity & radio based on distance. Also the reverb & echoing when inside buildings was really effective & added to the immersion - while watching on a phone too. This game is currently on sale on Steam, I think I might just snap it up! ❤
I'm excited to give this game a shot finally, was waiting for a bit more polish. One thing it does really well that you don't see a lot (or enough) is the buildup of dust during a firefight, esp in IRAQ. Looks great, and adds a lot.
I admit I said a "Nice!" out loud when you tore the flag off. This is one immersive game lol. The one thing that's kept me from buying this game is that it's so detailed and realistic, I can't ever ignore that it's based on a real battle in a real war that cost so many lives :( I don't mind that it exists, but it sort of makes me sad. I'm old enough to remember when the war kicked off on false pretences, and it worries me that younger gamers won't connect the 'coolness' of the game to the terrible reality. No wet blanket intended though, it's still a cool game :D
there's actually some documentary elements to the game, rather than just shooty shoot. If you play campaign, each mission has alot of documentary style narratives attached to show the gravity of the situation
Respect what you saying, but you could say this about any war game ever then. They are all mostly based on real events outside of pure fiction shooters. Everything is ww2, modern, or ww1 remakes. Enjoy what you enjoy and pay respects in your own way to the heroes that fought bravely 💪🏼
This is exactly what i bought the game for back when it released. I've waited a long time for this hell yeah. My AI teammates keep going behind me and friendly firing though 😂
My bit of Social anxiety/not wanting to be a the worst person on team stops me from playing and enjoying a lot of games so, glad to see they're working on Solo. Would be cool if they add voice commands
Great game. Reminds me of "Operation Flashpoint: Red River" a bit. But need's some adjustments at Ai. For example: Operating in the open and Ai still have their flashlights enabled, it's like "Hello. I'm here, kill me!". Game also need bit more weapon variety. Operation Phantom Fury, which game is based, Marines had way more weapons than just standard issue M16A4+M249 Saw & a shotgun. They had also M14s (non socom versions), M24s, M82's, and also Soviet weapons such as PPSh, AK's, SVD, PKM & RPG-7, too. And M18A1 Claymore mines as well.
One of the things that has stopped me buying this game so far was the lack of provision for single players, so this is very good news. Excellent video, thank you.
Reminds me of an updated & upgraded XBOX ORIGINAL GAME - FULL SPECTRUM WARRIOR; so I wish this game had a more direct approach on *"teammates"* with a individual control over an A.I. team npc, so u could say gunner - bravo / go cyclic on that mark!
I wish you could pick up downed enemy’s weapons like there dmr rifles because you nor your teammates have access to a dmr rifle. Some of these guys were issued the M24. But it’s not in the game, maybe they’ll add it some future update. It is a great game though. Nice video.
not only is the game cool it made me want to learn more about Fallujah and the connected conflicts rather than just reading into WW1 and Wild West history it made me relize the imortance of modern war in a simular way to the ukraine war footage that circulates online no sacrifice or failure forgotten as it paths the way to a brighter future by illuminating the mistakes and stepping stones of the past, things cant be better without recognizing
I live on a farm with a pretty shitty internet and cellphone connection at times.. so all I want is a good offline playable game. I didn't even play Ghost Recon Breakpoint because of this. So I hope this will be the game i've been waiting for
This game does actual point firing properly. Unlike in Trashkov where you're constantly on a low-ready like an idiot and the bullets go perfectly to the middle of the screen. "Most realistic hardcore shooter" my ass. Couldn't even get that right...

ive been waiting for this update because since day one of buying the game i havent been able to connect to any online match because of their shit servers. Every single time it either gives an error or puts me in an empty match.
@@TactiGamer what they need is to change who they go through to host servers, im one of many who havent been able to play the game because of this... its destroying the actual potential of the game. It doesnt matter how amazing the gameplay is, if people cant play it nobody will buy it, then the games dies. The only reason its still in my library is because i didnt have an option to refund it.
look at this amazing control. Haven't seen anything like this since, GRAW (2006), Brothers in arms (2005), GRAW 2, Brothers in Arms: Hells highway, Future soldier, OpFlash dragon rising (2009), ARMA, etc. Nice to see it in games but it's Nothing innovative. Squad has had correct firing loft for years. Nothing innovative. Sound design, like attenuation over distance, is very nice I will say. "what's with the flashlight is it from 2004?" Yes probably... That would be era correct. That's as far as I got.
Better have a Nasa computer. I have above minimum system requirements for this game and it runs terrible. You need at least recommended hardware requirements or dont bother.
