taurean mauler is also something to watch for it has changeling and has an ability that whenever the opponent casts a spell then you out a +1/+1 counter on it so it cant be cut down outright

What do you think about Temur Otters in BO1? Seems to have a very poor winrate on Untapped and I imagine its due to high aggro and Mono Black Discard. Been debating about crafting/playing it but the winrate is concerning. Maybe there's a world where a Temur Roxanne deck can succeed in this meta.

I example, did that bronze to mythic deck keep the same exact same cards over the 100+ games? I was able to top8 the first tournament ive ever entred, this weekend. Where i brought an own take on golgari. After i saw it was able to beeline through diamond in bo3. So im considering making it better for bo1 aswell. And try to climb to mythic on that deck alone coming reset
As long as you make the changes to the decklist, as opposed to importing a new one, it'll be considered the same deck according to untapped. For example, the Mono-White list made a couple changes throughout the climb: -1 Beza +1 Season of the Burrow, explored splashing Jace for a couple games, etc. Congrats on the top 8!

These decks are all fine, as long as you remember to be lucky after delaying the game as much as possible. Remember, the game isn't fun unless the other player is miserable while you play some combo
This seems like a cynical outlook and doesn't acknowledge the rock, paper, scissors design of aggro, combo, and control imo. People complain when it's a "brainless" aggro deck, an "unfair" combo, or "boring" control. If you hate an archetype just play its weakness
@Arstall I have played since Alpha, so it is fair enough to call my outlook cynical. Try 30 years in any competitive game and try to come out optimistic lol
As a red player, I assure you Mythic is only inevitable if you play 4 hours a day for 20 days in a row. And getting there is as repetitive as it is boring
@darkorion69 I played abzan control till diamond 2, but it so long, I take random red agro deck and hit mythic in a week. Yeah, dis type of deck have some plays, but it's not so deep. And I play only to hit 10 wins for exp in battle pass

It'll definitely be a challenge but Roxanne into top end or Ral can be a fun strategy

Yeah the climb has more to do with number of games than anything. Top 1200 (at the end of the season) is a different story
