OMG! Thank you, thank you, thank you...So beautiful, it brought back so many beautiful wonderful memories, I was born and raised in this whole area and especially in the Santa Cruz mountains...lived for a time on the Glenwood cut off....What a blessing! Great Job!!!
During that time period & thru 1967, I vacationed each Summer with my Family from San Francisco to Seabright Beach. I was there prior to the dredging & construction of the Yacht Harbor & after. I have wonderful memories of Santa Cruz from that time in my life.
I lived in Rio Del Mar about 20 years (52-72) and in Ben Lomond for another 20. The three things I miss about SCC is 1) Riding my bicycle up and down West Cliff Drive; 2) the Flea Market that was at the Skyview drive-in on weekends, and 3) the free concerts on the beach during the summer. Good times.
I probably know you but you are a little older than me I moved to Rio in 1958 and Moved in 72 also lived in Boulder creek and the summit I really miss the flea
Back in the late 70s I had a girlfriend that used to live in that white house at Mitchell's Cove.i lived a short bike ride away off Dufour,how convienent.
