Through all they went through in the main series + the fact I havent rewatched it in so long in a way I forgot they were actually in love once, and weren't always going through something crazy to get eachother back. It's good to see a genuine moment of their relationship.

Simon and Betty spending their night together is just as sweet as the taste of candy, but considering that their date takes place in the pre-Mushroom War, I knew his fate is gonna be as cold as ice.
and to add more salt that not to long after they went to a frozen area and simon found the crown which made betty run away to the future and cause simon to go depressed and crazy
@@housinengi9512it’s messed up that Simon didn’t dig up the crown, he bought it from a dock worker as a souvenir from his travels and put it on as joke. In an attempt to entertain himself and Betty he was cursed, scared Betty off, and felt nothing but remorse and regret from a seemingly innocent action.
