We don’t do pillows on our couches. It’s too much of a hassle. Lol. Once your kids are older to pick them up themselves every time, I’d wait. That’s what we’re doing.
Yay! I need all the motivation to get my Christmas decor down! Normally, I leave my Christmas decorations up until after the new year but for some reason I am over it this year haha, and I want a clean slate going into the new year!

LOL @ "my kids are savages"!! I say that all the time to people! No pillows. We have the same couches you do and NO pillows because my 5 year old will find something to spill. I roll bare and clean. As for the dishes, today I yelled "Perhaps I should not have become a counselor and instead a professional dish washer" LOL My oldest was like "wow mom". I feel you girl! Your house is beautiful! Love to see the husbands helping out when cleaning, mine didn’t. Is that a beddys for your bed? How do you like it? I purchased one but have yet to wash it and put it on the bed! Nothing more satisfying than seeing those vacuum tracks in the carpet! I recently got rid of all carpeting in my house and now have hardwoods throughout, no more tracks!

Thank you, and Not at all! We try to wipe things up after they happen, but of course spills and stuff happen and I have never noticed staining :)

Hi, in my apartment the only dish washer is me. But, I live alone so I don't always do dishes ever day. It's nice to have pillows on a couch but, when your kids are that young I would just leave them off for now .
I love pillows. And, it makes me feel productive at the end of the day to put all the pillows back on the couch. But, I'm kind of weird. lol
We had a really good Christmas! I would leave the pillows off. I like using the baking soda and vinegar as a cleaning agent but it does leaves a residue that is tedious to get rid of...I used it to clean my oven..it did an amazing job of removing the stains and build up but the residue was too much..I may of used to much baking soda - what’s the name of the lemon product you used to clean floors? Thanks for sharing!

While the kids are small just get brighter blankets and that way no problem running thru the washer and dryer. The brighter blankets will add splashes of color. You can roll a blanket up to make a pillow if need be.

That's my 2020 goal to not be so hard on myself. I have chronic illness. I went from being super active to needing to take so many breaks. Sometimes I cant get everything done and I get super depressed and feel like a failure,but I'm not the failure,my body is. I'll be happy and celebrate the things I am able to accomplish. Haha tell Kyle even castles have cobwebs. 💙💙💙

I love your home so much! I see all you these videos and everyone took their decorations down and I want to so bad but I have to wait til my husband is off cause I have a really bad back and can't do it in my own but i cant wait to get my home back together and get some just home decorations made. Don't get me wrong I love sitting here with my light on from my trees but I'm just ready! I feel so bad for you how did you ever get this all done you have to be hurting at this point!
Vinegar and baking soda the cheapest but one of the best cleaning products to have. You had some major vacuum lines in the basement...I can understand why you took a break before you started lol. Maybe when the kids get little older add pillows so you can keep your sanity for right now.

We had a lot of company for Christmas so I ended up running it 3 times in one day plus I hand washed the bigger items, it was great! We live in Nebraska and due to the weather we had to cut it short! Normally its just my husband and I and we run it once per day

I don't have a dishwasher, some days I do the dishes once a day and some days I do them after each meal just depends on the day.
I took all my Christmas stuff yesterday i was so ready for it to be done I run my dishwasher ones every other day!!!!!!

I had a lovely Christmas, we had family round ours xmas eve, then went my mum and dads xmas day the kids loved it my son has austim and i was a little worried how he would handle all the presents and new things but he was amazing he loved it and loved helping everyone open there gifts really made it special and my daughter is 16 months now so she understands a bit more she loved it. Hope u had a great Christmas... and i defo think u should get cushions for your sofa or couch will give the room a pop of colour. 💝💝
