As a man in that 24/25 age and still a virgin, this video was amazing. Everyone's friends speak about sex like they're the best to ever do it, so to hear men be vulnerable about hesitations and insecurities was much needed.
I lost mine a few weeks ago (im 23) I was hesitant at first aswell and wasn't sure aswell the first time we met up I made an excuse I didn't buy condoms etc then I went home and said fuck it let's just do it and the next time I did. Honestly I still feel the same and I only bothered to tell one friend I lost it and he just said I like how we have a friend group who never pressured each other to do certain things.
Agreed! No disrespect, but I’ve heard this convo with men A LOT. It would be refreshing to hear women speak about when they started feeling their own pleasure with sex, in terms of how they learned what they enjoyed, being vocal about it to your partner, and choosing better partners that prioritized your pleasure as you come more into your own. THAT’s not a convo I hear often.
wow, Los's explanation of losing his virginity and then being confused about how to get what he wants and feeling unconfident hits HOME. im shocked. Being a woman in my early twenties, it actually makes me feel so much better to know someone like Los went through some of these feelings too ♥
Curious if men also think this is still helpful. I personally thought it was helpful but I’m not a man. And I know a couple of men that this video might serve them some good
Los comparing it to hunger is so real. Takes a lot of discipline, self reflection, and time to keep that urge on a leash. When you're young it's so hard. Pun intended.
I love this group.. Los’s podcast is like info dumping, JDs is like analyzing that info, Enjoy is like appreciating what it all means and Shan’s channel is like all of the above but focused on just sex and relationships. Can’t get enough of you all
Wow it was so comforting to see men reflecting on their sexual experiences and attitudes in such an honest and open way. It’s such a shame that we don’t get to see this more often in society.
I really appreciated the vulnerability that each person had in this video. Very helpful! I also really appreciated when JD talked about not having a very high sex drive & being a relationship guy. I honestly wish more people would talk about it openly. ❤️
its never too late to share that knowledge, if its you'r friends or maybe future son. be open but prioritize feeling safe and comfortable enough to get vulnerable
I would love to hear how people’s relationship with self pleasure has changed post pandemic. Especially those who had a change in their living situation. Great video! Really insightful for me as a single mother who is raising a boy.
it's crazy how different each of their perspectives on sex is. it also ties in with their recent enjoy the podcast episode about body count with how each of them contextualize their feelings about sex. because jared is the most comfortable talking about sex and being a sexual being in general, he is the most relaxed about feelings about "body count" in his partner. he doesnt see a higher number as a negative thing and actually the opposite. where jd on the other hand is way more repressed in his thinking about sex and maybe hasnt felt it important to fully explore himself as a sexual being and has felt a lot of shame around it. because of that, jd sees a higher count as a negative trait in a partner. los lands somewhere in the middle of this spectrum. it's really interesting and insightful. i think jd should definitely have more conversations like this, and it's awesome that he's open enough to learn and unlearn on camera and in public to help other people. hopefully all these conversations cause him to really self reflect because i do think that he'd be a lot more spiritually awoken if he explored that part of himself. but this is just my opinion of course, as someone who doesnt know any of them personally, just what they show on the internet lol
I wish i had learned about hpv. Its confusing to me that nurses tell me its not a big deal but it can cause cancer. I never know if i should disclose when i have it either. Its also confusing because nurses tell me that there is no test for hpv in men.
It's always so interesting listening to you talk with the members of @Enjoy248 the podcast. Their vulnerability will for sure help a lot of young people going through life and discovering their sexuality 🙏🏾
this was such a good video. i thought i'd just watch the first 5 mins and I just finished it, wow that was what I needed to hear today! explained a lot of the really weird interactions I had w teenage boys I dated during highschool lmao
Loved this, definitely something’s to think about having a son of my own. Shoutout to the men of Enjoy the Podcast. Always enjoy hearing their perspectives.
I find this video extremely interesting. What I find more interesting is several of the comments below. As a man, my take on this video is a lot more educational for women than it is for men. If you listen to these guys, they are talking more about learning to be better with their partner as they grow. But at the same time, they are also saying that they felt the responsibility on learning solely fell on them as well as if they are not doing things wrong, they expect the woman to tell them. This is very eye opening on how men approach learning vs women. Even when it come to personal health in sex how men approach it is very different. This also should be a big eye opener for women on men's approach to their own health. I really liked this video because Shan approach is way above I think majority of women my whole life. I am 58 and have been with women in many countries, so my viewpoint on how she addresses talking about sex to a partner is not aggressive but informative to a man. Most women that I have been with, when they talk about it is almost to masculine. The one thing that I wish she expound on more is asking the men more about what they find exciting and a turn on. What they want out of it and what they want their partner to do. If you listened to these guys, they really talked about being a better lover than receiving better sex. But all in all I really liked these interviews.
Great video! I'd love to see a similiar a video from the female perspective. Society puts so much pressure for women to remain a virgin until marriage.
@@LadyT0429 I didn't realise that was the case in the US. It really runs counter to notions of "body counts" and men generally not wanting virginal women or those with low sexual experience. I really liked hearing the dialogue at 18:50. I'm in my early twenties and it feels like overcoming a mountain to have that talk with someone i like. I don't know if it's fear or something but saying, 'I find you attractive, let's spend time together and see if you want to hookup/have sex'.
@@cbrcm7 Oh no. Mine wasn’t about that at all. I saw nothing wrong with her and Lovely Los’ dialogue. I appreciated the sexy way to talk about testing. And I know my boy Jared wasn’t too far either, maybe even behind the camera. It’s all love💕

I wish the guy with the orange t-shirt was a bit more clear and open. I feel like a lot of his answers were vague. Maybe he wasn’t fully comfortable. But he reminds me a lot of my bf, and I never really know what’s going on sexually with my boyfriend. Our sex is boring. I ask him what he likes or whether he has any fantasies, but he always gives the most basic answers and he is also clueless in bed and he doesn’t really know how to satisfy a woman and he gets a little sensitive when I try to explain what I need/like. I put a ton of effort into our sex life and he doesn’t even shower when he knows we’re going to have sex. I’m just kinda over it at this point.

I agree because I think ppl assume that guy automatically have to want sex 24/7
That's interesting; I wonder what his motivation was for cheating in the past? I assume it would've been for wanting sexual variety.
I really admire how Shan is able to think on the spot with so much ease. That role play was so effortless ✨✨
Is it just me or is Shan’s partnerships n sponsors are the only ones I don’t skip 😂🤷🏾♀️
