given that Josh does exclusively bespoke work, 2 months is not really that long. Josh davis is in my experience very fast, given the complexity of the work he does. Josh also makes swords, btw... very nice ones... and armour... and loads of other drool-worthy stuff.. the man is a legend
I bought a Lockwood Celtic leaf blade because I didn’t want to wait the year plus time that Albion quoted me for this sword. It took 20 months for Lockwood to actually get my sword to me. I was not happy.
Great review. I'm always excited when I see Albion reviews.

HEY, PHIL SWIFT HERE WITH FLEX TAPE, THE DURABLE WATER PROOF TAPE!
If the sword cuts wood it could cut bone.
Kind of a horrific thought but that is what many swords were meant to do.
Where did you get your gauntlets and gorget? 5:42
Gorget is from Darkwood Armory, and the gloves are from Superior Fencing :) Hope that helps!
Where abouts are you test cutting, thats a bloody nice view.
Heya! Since you mentioned thrusting, what treatises does your school study? Not Meyer, I assume?
We study Fiore for longsword. Vadi will be next.
Amazing.
wait, *there’s another phil swift that can fighting with swords?*
Wait this isn’t flex tape
How much was the scabbard?
This is my students sword, I think he paid around 500 for it.
