You need to realise the axe path in Valhalla is arguably the hardest weapon path to get a broken build with. And he did it by prohibiting the use of the axe perks that can give you a broken build. This guy is insane 😂🫡🔥
Yeah, and while Deep Freeze is brokenly powerful for the axe, you also can't really use it on Breaching Penalty without Realm Shift relic abuse (high level enemies don't get staggered for you to use the whole Whirlwind combo). So, when you see SmvR enters Valhalla with that Rage Burst relic, you know he's never gonna go for that build.
Very clever usage of the momentary reduction in stagger resistance after Draupnir's wail to launch and juggle some heavier enemies like the Legionnaire Captain! I could tell just from the way you played that this was a very difficult challenge. Well done!
This was a joy to watch, been wanting to see you fight Magni and Modi in Valhalla since it came out. I love all the usage of the onslaught shield, especially in the King Hrolf fight, not many YT’ers have actually shown off what the onslaught shield can do against Hrolf and his attacks, this was a great showcase for that. I gotta ask, have you ever thought about making a vid for the Musphelheim trials in GOWR like you did with GOW 2018? I would LOVE to see that.
@RAGE-OF-SPARTA-X Thanks mate, it was your gameplay that influenced me to main the onslaught shield. I honestly don't know. SM dropped the ball for the trials, especially with 100 enemies, enemy selection is a joke lol
@@SmvR I feel like it was an intentional design choice. Ragnarok has much more content than 2018 does (enemy/boss variety, explorable areas, sidequests etc.). I guess that warranted a harder Muspelheim in 2018 to provide something for the ones seeking challenge

Tyr fight was absolutely spectacular. Picked up on most of the plays. 33:39 Using Shield Rush to move away from Tyr was brilliant because he uses a homing attack similar to Gna’s submit red attack. 33:49 High risk of pretending to block only to dodge last second. Nicely done 34:30 Taking advantage of Onslaught Shields invincibility during shield rush. Perfectly executed 34:44 Battle iq being demonstrated. Ranged attacks are very useful to take out nuisances that Tyr likes to use because he can’t handle the smoke. 35:08 Last second dodge. Clean as hell. Grants immunity to AOE attacks 35:15 Inflict burn status for bonus damage with the Axe. Well played using Extinguish Flames.

The fight with King Hrolf without realm shift and no damage, the last realm tear with the unpredictable toads + Siren + minotaur, the bane version of Tyr who loves darkness .... WOW. Truly one of the best versions of Kratos out there!!!

I just plat on GMGOW+ and there's no way I can complete this without losing hair. That berserker king took me so long to beat in the base game and in give me mastery Valhalla they give you the whole boss battle? No way. SMVR you are cracked mate.
I'm always learning here. Just found out I can hyperion grapple to interrupt the legionaire siphoning attack. 500h of gameplay, and I always learn stuff here.
I dunno if it works every time. Probably depends on the color of the timer. Or maybe what buffs you have? All I know is basically nothing seems to interrupt that dude.
