Joy Behar was under NO obligation to miss McCain when she was away. McCain was trying to be a smartass and Joy shut her down. I have ZERO sympathy for McCain.

I left an extremely toxic workplace in which I was a key worker and would be the last to get fired, and I was bitter because obviously I still remembered the abuse I was put through. Although I was the only essential worker in my team I was treated the worst as also the only woman. Not saying she wasn't fired but take into consideration that being bitter or any other emotion she might be feeling doesn't prove any particular scenario.

She told Joy, “You missed me. You missed *fighting* with me.” That’s not a joke. That’s passive aggressively telling someone they have a chip on their shoulder against you. My reaction would have been exactly the same and I’m disgusted that Megan McCain used Postpartum Depression as an excuse to make herself look like a victim.

Megan was upset because everyone called her out on her hypocrisy, aggression, and incomplete knowledge. She hated that her political inaccuracies weren't accepted as opinions. She was often incorrect with her statements. She behaved like a child and they treated her like one. And she's still crying like one.
Ana is wrong on this one, the clip TYT showed doesn't capture what led up to Joy saying this. Megan. Was rudely talking over Joy hence the response

If she had such bad postpartum depression why did she return to the view when she obviously wasn't ready? She's rich enough to take as long as she really needed to recover. I kinda am on cenks side. All of that is fair game and if she wasn't ready to come back she shouldn't have come back yet. It's not like she's living paycheck to paycheck and can't afford to take the time she needs off.

23 years ago, my sister was lost at a casino on vacation with her friends family. She stumble upon Whoopie Goldberg, Whoopie said, "look stay here and we will wait for your family," and they sat together playing slots as Whoopie's security found her friends family. It almost sounds like Ana looked up to Meghan when she was starting out . It almost sounds as if she doesn’t hear any logical criticism of Meghan because she is biased and refuses to see Meghan the monster , vs Magana the idol . After liberty was born , ask yourself , did you ever hear Meghan say ‘I love her’ when on the view? She uses her like a prop for attention. It was offensive how she talked about liberty as a byproduct of ‘I was high risk , I had all this pain and had to lay in bed constantly . It was horrible’ .. I mean she went on and on about her pregnancy , her labor and she tried to continue it afterwards and that’s not the purpose of the show . Meghan drowned in her own self worship cycle . I used to like MM too until she sold out and became a right wing parrot. She’s just one step away from endorsing Trump in 2024 if he runs again with whatever excuse her Federalist hubby will write for her (“I know he’s insulted my dad but policies matter” or whatever”)
In her time there, for the most part, she was rude and disrespected the guests, which showed her unprofessionalism. She even disrespected Abby Huntsman who was the other Republican, who was the regular Republican on the show before she left the show.

If anything, Whoopi, Joy and the others went very easy on Meghan, and you would often see them count to ten when she went on another rant. The Trumpist GOP treated her Dad so badly, and his memory was trashed so often, the surprise really is that Meghan didn't jump ship and at least become an Independent!
On the day Meghan announced she would be leaving The View, Whoopi said that John McCain wanted The View, or at least Whoopi and Joy, to toughen Meghan up because she's not great at handling criticism. Also, somewhere between what happened on January 6th and Liz Cheney getting censored, she said something along the lines of this statement: "I hope that the next leader of the GOP is someone who can bridge the gap between Trump Supporters and never-Trump Republicans because I believe that abortion is murder and that life begins at conception. That's why I'm can't vote for a Democrat, that's why I'm too much of a Pro-life Conservative to ever consider myself a Democrat, and that's why I hope the next GOP leader bridges the gap between Trumpers and non-Trumpers.
And that's not to mention that her husband, Ben Domenech, has been under controversy for not only being viewed, by many, as a Far-Right Fascist, but also his website "The Federalist" had issues when it came to plagiarism. But that's just what I see.
Some people get talked down to, and treated the same way as Meghan McCain did for $8-10 an hour every single day in America. Boo f'ing hoo.

I feel like McCains sarcastic comment asking Behar if she missed "fighting" with her is baiting for Behar to sound like the monster in the conversation and Behar bit the bait by expressing her personal feeling that she did not miss McCain during her maternal leave
I'm surprised neither Cenk nor Ana talked about Behars feelings about the incident. Sure Behar couldve said something witty or sarcastic back to McCain but the question was simple: does Behar miss arguing with the person in the group whom ultimately causes the most friction and drama on and off screen?
Behar came off sounding bitter yes, but she was also agitated because of the fact that McCain decided to frame all of her discourse with Behar to be called "fighting" rather than debating; implying that Behar is incapable of making civil discourse in any discussion
Lastly, while I think post partem depression is something to be dealt with very seriously, but I don't see the connection with Behars comment correlating to anything spiteful about McCain having her baby. It sounds like McCain is weaponising post partem to deal with the obvious surprise that Behar offended McCain and truthfully expressed their dislike of her on air
McCain opened that door and couldn't handle the truth that came out of it

I don't have a lot of sympathy for her because from day one she was very hostile whenever she wanted to. She would come at guest disrespectfully and she cannot take it when she gets it back in return. She is strong in her opinions but when it comes back at her she cannot take it.
As a person who has dealt with anxiety, all I can add is that I cannot blame others for my own triggers. Even on that, her white privilege outshines, as per usual. 🙄

90% plus of the occasions Whoopy had to shut her up was because SOMEBODY had too. She would jump in and talk over everyone and not stop, trying to drown out other opinions. That works on Fox, not on The View.
When Whoopi told her to stop, Meghan wouldn't.. it would finally be still , then Meghan would start again! She couldn't stop herself!
S.E Cupp gave Meghan away when they were on Andy Cohen's show when it comes to the leaks. Meghan was saying she would rush to her dressing room instead of getting food at the craft table because she was so worried that people would make up things and leak that she'd be 'throwing eggs at people or something'. And then S.E Cupp says, quietly, 'well, you did throw the eggs'.... so, no. If you're such a toxic co-worker on the View that you're throwing food at people, you have no right to expect people not to leak.
I feel like I watched enough episodes of that show to see that Meghan did most of that stuff to herself, and was feeling *self guilt* about being a Trump Republican in the Republican Era. Host and Guest would make points about specific _Trump Republican Fans_ and she would repeatedly take those comments personally, even when hosts like Joy would say they weren't talking about her. If it wasn't ALL her, it was mostly her, and I don't feel sorry about people who create their own problems and then cry about it (especially blaming others for their own issues).
She also had a habit to dismiss anything left of her view point as far left and making every topic either about her or her father. I have never seen someone with such a natural gift to piss people off before.
She knew she had to leave in January, 8 months later, she left. I've never put in an 8 month notice when I wanted to quit.
I have zero sympathy for MM. Both she and her supporters act as if criticism of her was solely based on her right leaning perspective but it was more about the way she presented her arguments and her lack of professionalism

If Meghan had such a horrible experience she should have just left the show, contract or not. I'm sick of these whiners, who know what they are getting into when they sign the contract, complaining about how hard it was. I would bet most people who don't have a lot of money would be fine with the experience if they got paid as much as Meghan did. She just likes to be in the spotlight and get a bunch of attention so she's continuing talking to cameras and doing interviews even though she said she wanted to live more of a normal life out of the spotlight. Wait did I get this right? Her moment with Joy was on January 5th and the workplace was so unbearably toxic that she had to leave in AUGUST?! If a job is really that toxic you cannot bear to be there another day let alone months. Sorry but i'm not buying it she doesn't even have a soul or feelings in my opinion.
