Took the 3 screws out but radio is still firmly not coming out

Hi I have to try to remove my CD/ radio 2002 Montana van its the only thing I can think of that had a problem before I had trouble with my van
I put in new alternators new battery's new PMC all with no fix
I a. By my self I am seeking anyone with a bit of compassion left in their hearts to help me with this
I am out of money after all the parts I bought so back to the original problem
Alternators not chargeing battery
I ck fuses all OK all cables good no wires visible broke
No service lights on
My CD player / clock lights dim my CD player wouldn't eject ..
That's the only thing that was wrong
So I need to know how to dismantle
Can you help ?? I am sure there is a short somewhere there ??

What is that pocket for? Is something supposed to be there?

The HUD control is in that location in my 2000 Bonneville SSEI

Its for controls but you could fit a flip phone or a pager in there or even keys or an ID

Its just a classic gm placeholder. In the more loaded Bonnevilles the control for the heads up display takes up that spot.
