The hunting shotgun is my favorite by far. I'm a minimalist and I enjoy the simpler stuff way more than the fancier things. On top of that I like to limit myself, which goes in accordance to my minimalist mindset I guess, when playing games to either make the experience more interesting or challenging or to not have to worry about more than I want to or both.

CoP: the Eliminator for its high capacity and ability to mount a close combat scope. Shotguns are my least used guns in the Stalker base games because they are so close combat focused. Believe it or not, it's the Hunting Shotgun that's my favorite! Sure, it's just two barrels, but even without upgrades, it is stupidly accurate, with a very tight spread, and can pick off a mutant at freaking assault rifle range. *With buckshot* Also I love the over and under break open barrel design. Speaking of which, the fact that it's not a tube gun or magazine-fed means that it's the fastest shotgun to swap ammunition types with, making it highly versatile! PS: I just realized that you have like 20k subs, and I remember a time you were barely over a few thousand, wow, you made strides! Congrats!
The Chaser was my go-to weapon in the first stages of the game but the Eliminator + scope + upgrades is unstoppable in CoP, especially during the underground mission.
I wish weapon modders would experiment more with the idea of Artefact infused weapons like the Combat Chaser. Imagine a pistol with a thorn that does more bleeding damage, or a An-94 with a crystal that creates incendiary bullets
I wasn't a very big fan of shotguns while I played SoC and CS, but when I realized I can use shotgun instead of a pistol in CoP, every time I start a new game I get shotgun ASAP. Then I have shotgun for monsters, and rifle for humans. That's why I called it "Witcher" build.

It's always a beautiful day when Anomalous Dugout releases a new video! I totally do not mean to be a butthead, but may I suggest one small thing about a pronunciation of an English word? When saying 12 gauge, gauge is pronounced more like we pronounce the color gray. Gouge would be more like "I gouged that filthy Dutiers eye out in the arena."
The Spaz will always remain my favourite shotgun no matter the stats because it just looks perfect. Its kind of ironic that it gained such a legendary status in games while being very shortlived in real life
The BM-16 used to have a uncut version, but was cut because it overlapped with the ToZ-34, which was ironically also cut from SoC. It being called the hunting rifle for the English translation in CS is also strange because in other translations and in some documentation it should be called TOST-34, giving it a proper fictional in-universe name.
Call Of Pripyat with the Gunslinger Mod replaced the Spas with the Saiga and have the long barreled version of the TOZ 16... this is a very nice video... good for beginners... Keep up the good work...
The Armsel Striker is a pretty uncommon weapon in games so it's almost iconic to Call of Prypiat for featuring it, especially wielded by a stalker in an exoskeleton

it is a normal sawn off shotgun, however some mods such as zrp replace it with the hunting shotgun cut from soc. i don't know for sure but it probably doesn't spawn outside that task
I used the over under break action so much in clear sky when I went to buy ammo later in the game the trader actually chided me for it ("man, you gotta let the break go"😂)
