    I have been stiff all my life, and after watching your videos, i feel more inspired to stretch most days of the week and do it correctly. Seriously, you are the best stretch coach out here on RUclips man. Keep it up!

    It’s so important to be stretching properly. I’ve been doing yoga as apart of my training for years and I can always see people with bad posture.

    Really like the run through videos. 20-30 mins one focusing on lower body would be good. Then possibly one about engagement of certain muscle group for work out, such as glutes and hamstrt

    Thanks for this video. I recently came across your channel and think it's great for stretching! I have a painful and tight adductor muscle and sartorius. Do you have any gentle stretches for this area. Much appreciated, and keep up the good vlogs!

    I truly appreciate all your videos , just a request can you do a video for neck stretching and proper calf muscle stretching. I'm an ultra marathon runner and I suffer from calfs 50km into my runs. I would really appreciate any tips.

    Hi Tom. Can you give us your ideas on ankle (plantar flexion especially). When practicing the forward splits should my front foot be completely flat on the ground? At what point should the toes of the front foot begin to lift of the ground?
    Also your ideas on the stretch where you reach one arm back behind you and the other arm over and behind you and touch fingers of both hands together.

    A lower body specific warm up would be appretiated. Both movements for removing doms and at the start of a gym workout

    Stretches to improve foot plantar flexion and general tightness of the top of the foot and ankle would be appreciated. There are many videos out there about improving dorsiflexion but few about plantar flexion, yet inability to extend the foot in this way makes many other stretches (such as your preferred hip flexor stretch in this video) impossible. My ultimate goal is to be able to sit comfortably on my knees Japanese-style, but my tight feet won't let me.
    Also, stretches to fix "duck feet" (aka excessive external rotation of the feet/legs).

      Yea I’d like this, especially about duck feet/pronated ankles/flat feet and tibial torsion or whatever, all of those issues that turn your legs out (and often your knees inward).

    Really love your progressive approach in this video. At the gym we often get to do the 3rd one directly but that's too much of a stretch for me so I loose form in hopes of surviving. Sometimes we have to also lift the back leg and sink the pelvis as low as we can - it's torture if I don't have anything to hold on to with my arms and support my weight. Just tried the simple square first posture and just the posterior tilt and that's plenty already for me. Does this stretch only the muscles, only teh ligaments and fascia, or everything at the same time? Thanks!

    How do you prevent hip flexor pain after barbell squats? I was advised not to stretch hip flexors too much before compound exercises as it can increase the likelihood of injury or something?

    Broken knee cap can't put pressure on knee. How do you stretch the hip without putting pressure on knee

    Hi Tom! I’ve watched this a few times and like the tips, but two or three times you say there are four mistakes and then proceed to only count out three in the demonstration. Did you edit one out or am I missing one?

    Very well explained. I think, when a "hard" stretch becomes too easy, perhaps it's time to call it a day and decide your hip flexor is now long enough?

    Tom, love your videos. They have helped me tremendously as a cyclist to improve my mobility. You have shown and 90/90 stretch in a few videos. Whenever I try to do that I cannot get my Torso to be upright, I always lean over to the side - away from my legs and have to use my left arm to stop myself falling over. Is this normal and can you provide some advice? Keep up the great work!

    When I engagee the glutes I don't get stretched. I only feel stretching on hips when I am maintaing my body standed, without tighten up the glutes. Help plese! What should i do?

    I face problem with hip flexors while doing "hanging knee raises". I can raise my legs to the abdomen but whilst lowering down I hear breaking sound of flexors. Was it because of "still hip flexors" ?

      Jermain Singleton potentially yes. Also flexibility progress is not linear. You’ll get periods of plateau frequently when working towards max range

      You should probably stretch out your hamstrings first and get them very flexible.

    MY personal feeling is that people aren't encouraged to work on the first point in this video before increasing the distance between their feet. Most people dont need to have a dramatic looking lunge in their stretch, they need to focus on doing it right
