The look of Jesus's face stopped the roman soldier in his place when he was about to use his whip. It was as if he saw Jesus's authority, love and kindness. Jesus must have thought...I will be whipped later, and scourged, beaten, nailed, spit upon, mocked and hated...even for you Roman soldier. And even for me also although I don't understand exactly why. Thank you Lord.

I’m not a religious person and I often detest theists for their stupidity in believing things that are not true.
But I do enjoy this scene.

You say these things aren't true and calling believers stupid meaning only your opinion matters. However there are countless stories and miracles proving God and his Son Jesus exist. I only hope you realize this and come to your senses before it's too late.

@@Rockhound6165 1: These things aren’t true because they’ve never been proven to be true and come off as made up and imaginary.
2: Believers I’ve spoken to in debates have said the most stupid things that make them stupid. That’s not my opinion, it’s a fact. I had a conversation with a theist once who believes the earth is only 8 thousand years old and that human beings were once 30 foot tall giants that got smaller in that time. Lol
3: Tall tales of miracles without any evidence to prove that they happened does not count as proof. So you’ll have to do better than that if you want me to “come to my senses before it’s too late”
I didn’t come here to have another pointless debate with believers, I simply said I enjoy this scene despite my distaste for religion.
But if you wanna do this then the burden of proof is on you since you believe in the god claim. So go on, give us some evidence here and now.

I KNOW it’s just stupid hollywood film making. They crafted the music to cause a reaction. They’ve written the script to guide our reaction in a certain direction…
But this scene is almost spiritual.
